    I'm waiting very patiently for the 4.9 L, 300 cu.in. Ford straight 6 to receive its final build. As I'm sure you know there's a great love for that motor I don't think I'm the only one waiting. Please don't forget about us.

    This car is the pinnacle of Power Tour cruiser in my opinion. Look like more than enough power & control to be confident and have fun, but not so much it leaves ya stranded. Super slick vision come to life. Awesome job guys!

    Man you just can't beat a good old G body. Comfy cruiser with just enough sport to play around and get your adrenaline up. The best of both worlds.

    NICE job on the Regal boys...I was 17 when the GN hit the streets and they still catch my eye! The rivets on the interior adds to that Buick "port hole" look. Reminds me of our Buick Enclave - and that's a high compliment. The Enclave interior is beautiful, well designed and luxurious. Although I have to admit, when you closed the door that good old GM door rattle just made me shake my head even 33 years later. How could they sell a brand new car with that much slop? Shameful. There is something to be said for the nice tight "thud" when the door is closed on our modern Buick. LOL

    • @Scoobems
      @Scoobems 3 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      It would've looked 100% better with matched colored bumpers without those holes. And the seats with those holes running down the middle, blah.

      @@jimkoval8546 Those are Honda ricer holes. The idea is they prevent air from under the car from creating drag and lift on a older car likely sheds some weight. Basically are very poor mans diffuser. Just closing off the underside would accomplish the same thing without looking all re re.

    Reminds me of my buddy (now deceased) who inherited his grandfather's Regal about 35 years ago. The turbo died in it and instead of fixing the thing he dropped a 350 CID V8 in the car. It required doing things like making the heater box much smaller, changing the front springs... It was a sleeper... still looked like a FL grandpa car. ;~)

    Grommets used to be and still are for the points where sails are hooked to the masts and the points where sails are made smaller while sailing to allow for safer propulsion during very high winds, called reefing points.

    Such a beautiful automobile! I've been waiting for this video for a while... I used to have a 1981 Regal (first year of this same bodystyle) and that brown-n-beige interior takes me back to driving that old bucket. Great work, Powernation Team, and especially Tommy and Marc!

    80's and 90's Buick Regal coupes competed in Indy Car, Nascar Winston Cup, IMSA Camel GTP, and NHRA and won many competitions. Not to mention the The legendary Buick Grand National Turbo which was one if the quickest cars on the planet in those times. The Grand National Buick Regal was fastest american production car for awhile faster than vettes, Mustangs, Irocs and even some Porsche and Ferrari. Today the Buick GN with a few upgrades can still run against the newer modern muscle.
    I have a 1982 Regal coupe that my dad purchased brand new that I want to restore one day.
