Sad to say, but for any aircraft they come out with for MSFS we should expect them to be a skin for either the 787 or A320. Maybe it will be worth the purchase if someone created a mod for it as they did for the 777 and 767 aircraft that made it way better to fly with a little more functionality.

2:04 The US flag being mirrored is accurate. It is part of the US flag code. The canton (the blue in the corner) is meant to be against the flag pole meaning it looks mirrored or backwards on aircraft
I’m pretty sure it’s supposed to be mirrored on the other side though? Like the flag “being dragged” and the pole being in front of it?

The canton of the US flag is always to be displayed in the forward position. The idea being that its always advancing, never retreating.
Captain Sim wastes so much potential their modeling skills are really good but suck at making systems for them.

How can a company that was so good 20 years ago when it was still making addons for Fs2004 like the Captainsim 727 and 757 go so bad 20 years later ?.🤨
I saw somewhere that everyone left the team except the owner and the guy who did the models. And the owner has always been super rude. So they just decided not to get new developers and basically sell models only.
@@IIop902I red on few occasions that the actual brain, programming sales and customer service was all in Russia. The models were done in Ukraine and that was the only part that was done there. Now, that Ukraine is where it is, this is what we get.

Well, we all can see what is the actual quality of this once great company.
Charging money for a plane that is an a320 in a trenchcoat and a fedora is an actual ripoff.
Don't forget that the a320 comes in the game for free (as swiss001 stated.)
It's like bottled water, taken from the source, put a brand on it and sell it back to you.
I can see uses for this addon e.g. crash recreation, but for an actual sim then nah.

Any change of revisiting this aircraft as of v1.1.10 July 24th. Seems to have at least 15 updates since your original review?. Does it actually fly to the specs of a 717-200? or a Airbus A320?
And when we compare this $25 or less 717-200 (basically a McDonnell Douglas MD-95) to the study-level Leonado McDonnell Douglas MD-80 that costs $83 + $30 for the expansion, it does not seem so bad for a basic aircraft.

They just should do AI models ( payware ofcourse ). It`s joke to make this scam airplanes payware. I wouldn`t pay 1$ I won`t even try to download from simplaza that shouln`t even be placed anyware on the website. Why they don`t sell this brand to some who can do it flyable. If they can do 3d it would be easier in programming it and make it simulation airplanes not toys for little boys ! Just flight made BAE 146 but after 2 years they can`t finish AVRO RJ ! I will shift to FSX or P3D if developers can`t make good payware airplanes I`m not supposed to fly 737 and A320 for 5 years or so ! I get old completly when 3rd part dev. make something new and bigger. ( Sorry for my english ) and I`m little fu....cked up like this guy !!!!
The CS C-130E was amazing. Truly an amazing aircraft to fly, I flew from CFB Trenton in canada to CFS Alert in the arctic, then over Greenland to the UK and over to bosnia, massive flight in the ol bird. The cockpit is what made it. Such a shame the company has ruined its legacy and the FSX C-130E all in one swoop.

The 717 was actually supposed to be a Maddog as it was originally named by McDonnell Douglas as the MD-95. The aircraft was made to be a modernized, shorter version of the MD-90. McDonnell Douglas originally came out with the design but Boeing merged with them before it could be released as the MD-95. That’s why it’s called the 717.
I swear, I think Captain Sim just makes this shit to support a drug habit.
