Tom might not care about the extra rings--but kids LOVE stuff like that. My daughter wants ALL THE RINGS.

This is awesome! Tip for any parents out there who want to pick this up: you don't need to run out and buy play dough after the stuff that comes with the game dries up. You can make your own play dough with flour, water, salt, vegetable oil, a bit of cream of tartar (for elasticity), and some food colouring. Recipes are just a Google away. Really cheap and fun to make!

I've done this once. After the smell and annoyance, never again. NEVER.

WHY didn´t you smash a figure during the Dice Tower judgement with your hammer??? That was THE game to do it! xD

I remember playing grape escape and splat as a kid. Loved destroying the play dough figures. Think I’m going to pick this up

Splat was what I was thinking of. I still have it, but the play doh is obviously bad now.

As soon as I heard the description of the game, I immediately thought of Splat! I loved that game as a kid, and I’m definitely tempted to pick this up to see how well it recaptures that feeling

Thanks for the name. It was itching in my head. Looked it up on BGG. Oh, nostalgia. Thanks!

I'm always wondering why Tom looks like he's balancing with his hands on the table... I just realized he's kneeling in these videos. LOL #TomIsTall
    Great review!

Yes, and then we recorded 90 more minutes after this. 90 minutes kneeling is not something I want to do again!

@@thedicetower be careful kneeling! My kneecap popped in kneeling on it and now i cant do any basketball, jumping, or running with it. Probably one of the dumbest ways i went out.

this is cool, it almost looks like a 90's board game.

There’s some good promo videos of necromolds the creator made that have a very 90s vibe to them and they’re pretty entertaining

The concept of this game is really nice. Not necessarily a game my group might enjoy but maybe I'll pick it up just for the fun of creating and smashing clay monsters 😂

I played with kids and they liked it. I then played with adults and they loved it! The adults went crazy for it.

We need more games like this out there.
My kids LOVE playing Grape escape and especially Splat!
Hoping i can get my hands on this game, but it will need to reach Australia for that to happen.

I backed the initial KS but didn't pick up the expansions. I really want to pick up all the rest of the expansions.
Glad to see the game getting coverage on Dice Tower. I really love this game.

There’s a roll & move game from 1990 called Splat! that uses playdough. The game is very basic but it’s SO FUN to squish your opponent (& even yourself sometimes!)

It's definitely designed so that you can use the standard playdough cups when the ones you have dry out. The only issue with that is that I fully expect Hasbro to shrink their product at some point because of inflation, at which point you will NOT have the amount this game expects you to have.
BTW, the smasher rings are blind box collectibles, have fun with that.

Hasbro shd look into this type of game. This seems like it has potential to be a mass market game

I’m confused most the stuff I see on this makes it look like a new game this is a 2 year old video is it new or did it take that long to come out?

As a kid my sister had a Hawaiian Punch game and in that you smashed the other player's clay piece. She hated playing with me cause I SMASHED her's till it was flat.
