I doubt I'll get a response but I was curious if reflective window film poses any risks of causing fires? I keep reading how low-e windows are starting fires because of how reflective they are, and I'm worried if I install it on my patio door I'll risk lighting our deck on fire...
2 years later haha, but actually yes, because of processes like conduction and convection, these 2 briefly, make the heat inside the room, to escape the room from the window, so the room gets actually colder, even the space exactly next to the window, u can always notice that its colder than the rest of the room, so window films actually help keep the radiated heat INSIDE the room, and prevent it from leaving through the window
The videos are great!
Very professional video, interesting topics

Forgetting about the drawbacks, would an exterior application reject more heat than an interior one?
Can I have reflective film installed on top of security film?
You can but it voids the window film’s warranty 99% of the time.
Does this visible at night time for the out siders
Do films save money for electric heat in winter?
