@@TopRankInvestor To be honest, I haven't really followed the value of these. However, I doubt that they are going up ... I got mine from a retail store (Macy's) for a 20% discount.
It would look great if you upgraded to the combi bracelet. I changed the band on my GW50001JF to the combi bracelet, it makes it so much better to wear :)
I totally agree with you opinion. Great looks, but no upgrade on the module... It is not sold in Europe, so I imported it from Japan. That packaging is even different - a high-quality cardboard box. Very nice and a bit more different to the tin boxes.
the g-shock looks better than the Daytona on you man. You're right, for 210 bucks the movement should at least be upgraded and the silver metal buckle makes no sense. For a couple of bucks you can just buy a black one to narrow it down to just the movement as a pet peeve. BTW If a had it my way, my collection will only consists of one basic pre-loved Cartier tank (the small one) and a bunch of G-shocks. Nice stealth model, but I'm going for the silver metal bezel version as it's more versatile. Great review and POVs.
Thanks Lalolalo, I will be releasing a review of my new Cartier in 3 days - it’s a pretty fun video. In the meantime, here is the quick unboxing of it: th-cam.com/video/DIIMjfHBopU/w-d-xo.html
Hi Siddhant46s54, thank you so much for your comment. Yes, the watch is still in perfect condition - and the black coating is not peeling off in any way. I am not extremely hard on this watch, but it is doing just fine with "normal" wear.
Hey Suckgames, I am doing well and so is my BLNR - I don’t have any plans to ever part from it. It is a very special watch to me. I may do a SOTC video soon but it made its appearance most recently at the beginning of my Blue Omega SMP video I did a Koh or two ago. I hope you are doing well! 😊
Hey Julien, I agree - those kits are nice! I’ve never really modded watches before and just enjoy them straight from the factory. But, maybe I should try it? Thanks! 👍
@@DougsPerspective Maybe not , yes they look nice and so many different variants that Casio don't offer , which is nice . Is the build quality there , how would you know if you haven't handled one ? The crystal is mineral, so it is scratch resistant but not as much as a sapphire crystal. Having said that, I have owned numerous G-Shocks over the years and never had a scratched crystal.
@@DougsPerspective Id like to go realitively higher end but just can't make the plunge and stay at the relatively affordable end . Mid tier I will never do just save a few extra K an get a grail . Not sure if that mindset is watch snobbery or just common sense ?

Hi John, I wouldn’t call it “blingy” … the black metal is more muted than say silver metal. But it is more substantial and sophisticated than a normal black square G-Shock. It seems more like an Apple Watch or other smart watch in appearance.
your videos are great, showing the watches in natural sunlight really helps compared to other reviewers
Thank you so much Eluceat! I agree that natural lighting shows the watch so much better vs. studio lighting.
hahah i really agree with that. especially for the dw5600b it's makes the watch look more beautiful
Cheers for the video. You answered all my questions & helped me push the "add to cart" button 😅
Hey JoPaCo, I’m glad it helped 👊😁
I own an Omega Seamaster 300, and also this Casio, is just a beautiful piece
I own an Omega SMP 300 too - both great watches!
Just got mine today. It's a beauty and a keeper. This video helped with the decision. Thanks.
Congrats PrinceRob! I’m glad the video helped 😁👍
i like your style of how you review watches The POV while you're wearing the watch is good. Hate it how they only show the watch and not on the arm.
Thank you so much for your comment R :)

Thanks Doug. I was all set to buy the DW5600BB-1 DW for the sleek rubber look, now I see this.
My pleasure Journey Man! Which did you buy?
@@DougsPerspective Hey man. I bought the 5600BB-1DR. It's so basic and sleek I love it. Thinking this is the next upgrade. )))

The technique of shooting under natural light is amazing! But I have a question: What is your wrist size?

Hi Thofol, thanks for your comment. Yes, it is unfortunate this watch does not have "a little bit more" to its functionality.

looks very nice, great presentation too. Realistic
Thank you Hamid :)
Lol love the juxtaposition at @5:31 of the two watches. Fun stuff.
Ha! Yes, Jackgmail2000, my two opposite of spectrum watches :D
Hey i just wanted a long term review about the black metal case, does the black coating peel off/ scratch and expose the surface underneath?

Great watch review
Thank you BigLJR! I very much appreciate your comment. :)
How it is in long run? Any dings or scratches ?
To be honest, I got rid of this one and got the silver version. The silver has no long term dings or scratches.
Why did you get rid of it? is it due to color peel off? I saw few photos on reddit where the black color peeled off from the metal enclosure.
Hey Doug, how are you! Do you still have your blnr on jubilee (aka the bat….)

In low light the display is bad, else its a cool watch.

Why dont you buy a aftermarket all metal mod kit and take it next level 😊?
