I have been using your tips ( cue cards hehe) to the max this year, i was severely underpaid, i have acquired so many skilled throughout my time in the trade im in, i have outlapped many of my coworker in getting the more complex projects. It has been noticed not on in my company but word has getting out to other prospect company who have been reaching personally to me about joining their team. This week an opportunity came up for a lot more money than what im getting right now ( about 25%) came to my company about this proposal thinking no they wouldn’t even entertain this offer but surprisingly the obliged and match the offer, i feel thrilled and valued now! It is true that expirienced ans skilled is hard and expensive to replace. Thanks Andrew for all the work you put up out here, you amazing!
Why I do is job hunt. Once I find something interesting, I go to my current job and try to negotiate a raise. If they don't meet what I'm looking for, I put in the two weeks notice. If your current employer miraculously beats the new job's offer, withdraw from the new one.
Is there a big Negotiation Session 11/12/2022 -- Trying to apply this to a "contact center" fka "call center" where there are 50 people doing the same thing and 10 candidates to choose from: definitely higher level position (brokerage) at the Company (Big Bank). Perhaps you can make a video on this employment situation although for now I am working on Negotiation.
