"The pain is part of me, so it can never be stronger than me" really hit me for a second. I'm not pregnant nor do I ever plan to be, but it applies to many things
You got this Sissel. You're doing it in the best possible way. Slow and steady wind the race as they say. Noa will be here soon. So many Aunties and Uncles who are so excited for his safe delivery and for your safe birthing.🙂
When I just turned 38 weeks pregnant, my obgyn nurse was like "I want you to induce tonight or tomorrow morning" and she was making me so paranoid and when I told her we were gonna wait, she was so upset at it. He ended up coming out like 3 days later because my obgyn nurse was making me freak out and stress out a lot for the next few days after the appointment. It was so traumatic and its nothing a first time mom or an experienced mom should ever go through. When you go to the hospital, always stand your ground on all your beliefs and it is your body, you know when it will be time for him to come. Do not let doctors force you into doing anything you dont want too. I wish you a happy and safe delivery and cant want for Noa to be here
Hypnobirthing as a method is *amazing*. It was how I birthed my son and I can’t recommend it enough. The nurses were in awe of how calm and tolerant I was of the process. I walked for hours, took hot showers and pretended to be a mermaid, bounced on the ball (use that ball during labor--it helps soooo much), used my mind to be in charge of my experience, just breathed through the squeezes (changing your language is key, e.g. contraction is a pain word, so banish it from the room). If there is still time, Hypnobirth methods will carrying you through like a champion. Hugs!
I know someone who delivered twice by hypnobirthing, absolutely calm and relaxed, she felt very in control, baby was relaxed. A good curry is supposed to get it all going. Baby will come when ready, mine was 10 days over which isn’t unusual for a first. The plus of taking all this exercise is that you are keeping yourself fit, flexible and healthy. Just to say everyone I know that have had this surge of energy went into labour not long after. Nature is very clever. I’ve found it so interesting to watch your vlog as I’m waiting for the safe arrival of my first grandchild. Trying to be a good grandparent and not getting over excited or interfering which is really hard.
@@sisselab I was very excited when you mentioned it in the video and I am beyond glad you’re taking the course! Things don’t always go to plan during a birth (mine sure didn’t), but I know that the tools of Hypnobirthing made it all more tolerable and survivable and I wasn’t frightened...more like accepting and like a newborn myself to the world and experience. Honestly, the discomfort of the birthing hours was similar to a more intense menstral cycle--never once did I feel compelled to make any noise or fuss during the squeezes. I was able to go deep within myself and found something extra that I never knew I had in me during my son’s journey into the world and I’ve never forgotten what that was like. You’ve got this, sister!
I don’t push myself actually, I just truly enjoy it. Learning about hypnobirthing and our bodies makes me feel empowered and makes me excited to experience every stage 💚
I don't know why I am investing my time in looking at videos about pregnancy and birth from a stranger that lives on another continent. Oh, wait, they are full of life and love and gentleness and authenticity. You feel like a dear old friend, Sissel and what do we do with friends? Investing in each other's dreams. Good luck (to you both) with this God given experience! We need more Scorpios ♏
Sissel, if you have the opportunity - go swimming. I enjoyed that so much. The best about it is that being in the water makes you need to pee even more but if you do go pee you are really relieved afterwards. Much more than normal. I can't find the right words in English, I'm from Germany. Also my experience as someone who's babies were all late: As you mentioned having s*x. If you get some contractions or discomfort after it, that's a good sign that your cervix starts to soften. When you really start labour, also n*pple stimulation helps, as that also releases oxitocin. You have a really good attitude and you can do it!
I'm a couple weeks behind you with my first pregnancy as well, and it's been so awesome seeing your tips 2 weeks before I need to implement them the whole time I've been pregnant! Thanks for filming your journey ❤❤
Every time you post my day gets better! Thank you for sharing these moments with us. You are so right about the fact that most people go into labor after the due date. My friend was so stressed she had not gone into labor week 37 but she gave birth to a beautiful boy. Sending you love and strength from Canada🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼
I hope you enjoyed the video!! Yess there’s so much unnecessary stress to get the babies out early because of social media, I really wanna emphasize a realistic view 💚
Sissel i’ve been watching your videos since i was in school now i’m one year from graduating collage, i’m so grateful that i found your videos you are the most authentic and genuine person i’ve seen, tysm for sharing these moments with us lysm 💚
Ahh your videos always make me so excited to have my own little family someday! Trying to get to a healthy weight and get my health sorted before I have a baby, but using your videos as motivation really helps ❤
Listening to you talk about pregnancy and birth is such a beautiful thing. Your perspectives are so refreshing! I cannot WAIT to meet little Noa and continue to watch you and Jake go through the journey of parenthood! You and your content continue to be a bright light for me and give me hope for my future. Even though our paths will be incredibly different, you make me feel as though I can really create a life that I will love. So thank you, Sissel
Girly I'm so proud of youuuuu❤❤❤ can't believe you are full term! It feels like yesterday when the pregnant diaries started! I love how you express yourself around the pregnancy, and you are glowing!! I just know you and your husband will be the loveliest and happiest parents in the world! That baby is going to have a such a lovely home!!
Just want to send you guys love and wish you luck because im sure the next time I see you, you'll be a mommy. Tremendously happy for you. I cant wait to watch you being a mom and your family grow and start your next journey together as parents. Youre going to do great. ❤
I’ve been watching you since Jake was anon and a blurred face and probably even before you got into a relationship for a while and it’s truly been so beautiful witnessing you grow - as a channel and as a woman from a young girl. I’m a few years younger than you and I’ve always seen you as an older sister - very much Noona hahaha, and I just wanted to say I’m so proud of you! I just watched the birth vlog and I just wanna congratulate you, in becoming the woman you are with the life you’ve built and in showing up in the world to put that energy out there as well. You do more than you know for the community, thank you and congrats on Noa! You’re doing fantastic ❤❤❤
I hated this part the most when i was pregnant but its worth it. You and Hattie are together wow, love her vlogs. I used to confuse you guys before, i didnt know who was who but now i do
❤ babies are a lesson in radical humility and growth, in the most unexpected ways! they really show you how the hardest things can be the best things. so excited for you ✨
They are right about walking. I was 37 weeks pregnant and went for a long walk on the 14th of July, and labor started later that night and I gave birth on the 15th. wishing you a safe delivery.
I had a very similar pregnancy experience as you! I loved it so much and I honestly was sad for it to end I thought I was going to miss it a lot. But after baby boy arrived, everything became even more magical 🥹💕. So much love for him and his dad. Truly the best thing I can’t wait for you to experience it!
You and your friend Cari Cakes make the most beautiful videos. It’s always a cinematic experience filled with a relaxing atmosphere. Wishing you a healthy safe delivery of Noa Sissel. 💖✨
Your giving me great ideas for when I’m ready to start working my little boy out of my belly☺️ I’m so grateful for your influence you give me so much peace and help me not be scared!
I am 18 and I’ve been watching your videos since I was 16 or even younger than that I love your videos I don’t know I feel so comfortable watching it listening to your advices I really love it , I pray for you everyday and I hope you will get an easy simple healthy and happy labour,I and all of us can’t wait to see Noa🤍🤲🏼✨
Omg, this is so beautiful. Im a 15 year old girl and I'm a girl who still gets chills when she thinks about pregnancies, marriage and love. But I watch these videos and it's something really unique and beautiful. Its a special gift from God. I hope you be very happy and may your baby be blessed eternally by God. Greetings from Chile 🇨🇱
Dearest Sissel, I don't know why but this video has made me feel so emotional at times💚 it feels like watching a friend and wanting them to be so happy:) I've been following you for years and it's refreshing and fills me with pride and joy to see how wonderfully you're growing. Can't wait for Noa to come, not long now, I can feel it! sending all my live to you three💫💌
I love the name Noa. I'm so excited for you both. Enjoy it all. The nights will be long but the years go by so quick. Be ever present. It's all so worth it. Sending you all the love for your days and years ahead. 💜💜💜
I am sooo excited for you! I am 26 weeks now and I am digging the popthatmomma so hard! She makes everything better and I am not scared of labour and birth at all! You are glowing Sissel! I wish you all the best!
I hope you have a good delivery and a happy baby. I love watching your video and hope nothing for the best for you, Jake and your soon to be beautiful baby
Hello....you look beautiful 😍 My son was born in the beginning of May and his first winter he slept outside, entire winter no matter how cold it was, it's a European thing.....I was taking him in when I was ready to go to bed. He slept so well that made me very happy. I can't wait to see your baby, I'm as excited as you are I think 😊❤
Honestly, I used to be really really scared of pregnancy but following your whole pregnancy journey made me realize that it can be such a beautiful and cherished part of life. Thank you for showing me that perspective 🫶🏻 And much much love & health for your family 🤍
Sisul~ Fresh air. Eat delicious food, listen to good music, and read a lot. They say it has a big influence on the fetus, so you can give birth to a healthy and pretty baby. Stay healthy and I'm always cheering you on.
I was induced with both my boys. They just didn't want to come out and they started to worry my doctors with their heart rates etc... But I still managed to birth them without pain relief. It can be done! Do what's best for you and your baby.
Feel like the stork is ready to deliver the baby package. Do not pressure yourself to edit and deliver this week. We can wait until you present the whole family 🎉
Can we have a video w/ Jake ? Maybe an evening with the in-laws where you speak korean ? Or maybe one where you speak fully Danish? (Can't wait for Noa to arrive and speak to him with your language !)
Jake is working super hard these days as he’ll have to be home with me and Noa soon, so that’s why he’s not in the videos recently. I don’t feel good mixing my work with my in-laws so you probably will never see that, sorry. Regarding Danish, you’ll see me speak that a lot more as I’ll speak Danish to Noa 💚
I was the one 3 months ago who tried all of these tricks (+ curb walking, eating dates) and they didn’t work for me. Neither induced me into labor neither prevent tearing. But maybe it helps someone it def didn’t hurt! 😄 also I couln’t get epidural because by the time I was fully dialated and the pain was unbearable but afterall it was a great feeling that I was cabeable going through this. I wish you all the best! Can’t wait to see little boy 💚
I'm sending so much love to you Sissel, Noa and Jake ❤ now we are watching your videos with my husband during breakfast and I giggled today and said to him "this girl who is on the hike with 38 weeks pregnant girl is so brave, I will be terrified and worrying about hiking with the pregnant girl alone somewhere far away in the wild :D". of course, I know that you are not in the wild exactly and you are strong and glowing but still I was surprised by my thoughts haha
Idk if this is appropriate to say but from posts that I came across with, they said the best way to induce labor is to do the thing that made you pregnant- a lot confirmed that it’s true. Even some healthcare professionals commented. Anyways, wishing you a safe labour and delivery 🩷
Happy Sunday, Sissel!😊😊😊😊😊😎☀💙💙💙💙💙💙🇺🇸🍁🌷🇰🇷💚💚💚💚💚💚🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇👍. Hiking 3:49 is a great idea to walk on the hill and get stronger while the baby is kicking. Well done!💚⭐💚⭐💚⭐💚⭐💚⭐💚⭐💚⭐👍. For example, if I went to the park and walking up to the hill, my energy will become stronger and special.😊💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙👍
Du er virkelig min nr. 1 comfort-youtuber, no doubt! 😍 Ønsker dig al kærlighed og de bedste tanker til ankomsten af din baby boy, Noa - glæder mig til at følge med i din rejse som mor. Du bliver amazing ✨ Mange knus fra DK.
Good luck with your labor, Sissel. I'm sure everything will go well and your baby will be healthy, beautiful and of course will be very loved. 🤍 wishing you the best always!!! May God bless you and your family. 🤍🤍
A good curry is supposed to get everything going, followed by a few moments with your partner (both being very nice🤣) my midwife told me many, many years ago. Raspberry tea is supposed to soften everything, it is a western thing. There is too much pressure on mums to be when the due date arrives, baby will come when it’s ready and your body is ready. All the exercise keeps you fit and flexible. I know two new mums who used hypnobirthing and they didn’t have one bad word to say about it. You’ll properly notice your heartburn gets better as Noa drops further down. Buggy looks super easy and light. I’m all for babies sleeping in the pram all tucked up in the fresh air.
Watching this as a 21 year old who has always been scared of pregnancy, it's the first time I'm realizing maybe I do in the future wanna get pregnant. Much love from Amsterdam!!
Sissel...I wish you a happy, safe, healthy labor and delivery. I can't wait to see you holding your sweet son. He is so blessed to have you both as his parents guiding him on his journey of life. Oh, I don't know if you mentioned it, but are you going to a postpartum center or coming straight home? Is your family coming to visit at some point?
I found out at 36 weeks that my baby is breeched and will have to deliver via c-section… I was devastated, but I’ve also learned to let go and go with the flow (something very difficult for me). Despite it all, I am thankful my baby and I are healthy and I trust my doctors. My first mom lesson 😊
Oh those exercises you do with the ball are amazing. I wish I’d known about those. It looks so soothing to the hips and joints. Oh you’ll know when Noa is ‘engaged’ into the pelvis, because when you sit on a dining chair it will feel like you have a rugby ball in your ‘emergency entry no 1’ - I LOVE that saying by the way, it made me laugh 😆 With all your preparations and connecting your mindset and emotions, I think you will have a magickal and really profound and quick labour and birth. Listening to your body and your instincts is the way forward. Oh I wonder if you track back when your last period was and when you would have had your ‘normal’ period might give you an indication when you might go into labour as well - as the contractions are like very strong period pain that might be connected as well. I’m sending lots of love and good energy to you and I hope you have a wonderful and quick labour and birth 🩵🤍🩵
The ball is truly sent from heaven! I’ve managed to go all the way to 38 weeks (as I’m writing this) and only now had my first day of discomfort. Thank you! 💚
I wish you and Noah good health. I also believe we will reach the million subscriber mark by the time Noah is born or at the age of one month.❤ Following you from Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦
Hii Sissel! I don’t think I’ve ever been this early haha 😅. I love your channel so much! You are such a relaxed, positive, organised and joyful person and I hope you know that! Noa is going to be so happy to have you as his mother. Keep shining Sissel! 🤍🫶🏻 #virgo energy
Hi sissel ,i watch You from Romania,i love all Ur videos ,God bless You and Ur loved ones ,i pray to God to give a easy birth ,lots of health wishes for u and Ur baby boy ❤❤❤❤
Your videos bring me back. My kids are 11 and 7 and I love watching you going through everything I did. Also getting my stroller was so exciting as well. The worst part was selling it when my kids were too big for it. I even kept it a few years longer because I wasn’t ready to let go 😢.
"The pain is part of me, so it can never be stronger than me" really hit me for a second. I'm not pregnant nor do I ever plan to be, but it applies to many things
Absolutely 💚
You got this Sissel. You're doing it in the best possible way. Slow and steady wind the race as they say. Noa will be here soon. So many Aunties and Uncles who are so excited for his safe delivery and for your safe birthing.🙂
You look beautiful! 😍
same!!! you literally verbalised my thoughts
Genuinely Sissel is one of the most beautiful pregnant mamas I’ve ever seen in this journey. It’s such a blessing to witness these beautiful moments.
Am I pregnant? No
Am I trying to get pregnant any time soon? Definitely not
Am I still watching this because I love Sissel? Yes, most definitely yes 😊
Hahaha I love that 💚
Nevermind how many times you’ve heard this: you’re absolutely glowing and seem so in tune with yourself! It’s really healing and beautiful to watch:))
You’re so sweet 🙈💚

I think at this point we are all waiting for Baby Boy to come out into this world!❤
I can’t wait for a labor vlog 🥰
My mother is 8 months pregnant right now, im so excited to meet my new member of the family, and i wish you the best of luck!
Thanks For another beautiful vlog wishing you a safe delivery ❤
Thank you 💚
I was the one 3 months ago who tried all of these tricks (+ curb walking, eating dates) and they didn’t work for me.
I'm definitely coming back to these videos when I'm pregnant 😊
Wow Sissel I think the glasses really suit you! Very pretty! Wishing you a safe and healthy birth and baby
I'm so excited for uuu 🙈💚
🥹💚🙊
I'm sending so much love to you Sissel, Noa and Jake ❤
now we are watching your videos with my husband during breakfast and I giggled today and said to him "this girl who is on the hike with 38 weeks pregnant girl is so brave, I will be terrified and worrying about hiking with the pregnant girl alone somewhere far away in the wild :D". of course, I know that you are not in the wild exactly and you are strong and glowing but still I was surprised by my thoughts haha
Idk if this is appropriate to say but from posts that I came across with, they said the best way to induce labor is to do the thing that made you pregnant- a lot confirmed that it’s true. Even some healthcare professionals commented. Anyways, wishing you a safe labour and delivery 🩷
Yes! I mention this in the video too 💚
Happy Sunday, Sissel!😊😊😊😊😊😎☀💙💙💙💙💙💙🇺🇸🍁🌷🇰🇷💚💚💚💚💚💚🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇👍.
Ønsker dig al kærlighed og de bedste tanker til ankomsten af din baby boy, Noa - glæder mig til at følge med i din rejse som mor. Du bliver amazing ✨ Mange knus fra DK.
Tusind tusind tak 💚
I have been waiting for this video since the last week's video 🎉🎉
🙏🏻💚
Good luck with your labor, Sissel. I'm sure everything will go well and your baby will be healthy, beautiful and of course will be very loved. 🤍 wishing you the best always!!! May God bless you and your family. 🤍🤍
Thank you so much 🥹💚
Well, i guess it's evening tea with Sissel time
Wohooo, sounds amazing 💚 thank you so much
A good curry is supposed to get everything going, followed by a few moments with your partner (both being very nice🤣) my midwife told me many, many years ago.
My first child was born at 39+4 weeks and my second at 38+5. Love your videos. I live in Sweden and it's fun to see more Scandinavian youtubers😊
That’s so exciting ! 💚
Thank you so much 🥹 I wont go to a post partum care center. My family will be here in December 💚
I’m sorry to hear things aren’t going the way you wanted love ! Sending all the best 💚💚💚
such an important lesson 🥰 what you want may be very different from what you need. every kind of birth can be magical, and is meaningful.
you are so a lovely mum. wish you a healthy birth and see noa soon. 💜
Your glasses are so pretty! ❤
Thank you! 💚
Thank you for letting us follow you on this journey. ❤
Ahhhh I’m so excited with every clog getting closer to labour!!!! 🎉❤
Omfg so excited for u😭💚
so happy you got your stroller! I know you will be looking forward to walks with your little guy!
Oh those exercises you do with the ball are amazing. I wish I’d known about those. It looks so soothing to the hips and joints.
Oh you’ll know when Noa is ‘engaged’ into the pelvis, because when you sit on a dining chair it will feel like you have a rugby ball in your ‘emergency entry no 1’ - I LOVE that saying by the way, it made me laugh 😆
With all your preparations and connecting your mindset and emotions, I think you will have a magickal and really profound and quick labour and birth.
Thank you! 💚
영상 마지막에 여보세요 너무 귀엽잖아요😂 세상에서 제일 유쾌하고 씩씩한 임산부 시슬님, 순산하시길 기도할게요❤❤❤

🥹💚
i’m so excited ahhhhh 💚
Your videos bring me back. My kids are 11 and 7 and I love watching you going through everything I did. Also getting my stroller was so exciting as well. The worst part was selling it when my kids were too big for it. I even kept it a few years longer because I wasn’t ready to let go 😢.
Time passes, and although that’s what gives meaning to the present moment, I’m already not looking forward to seeing it pass with Noa 😭💚
I admire your perspective on birth ✨😊 your gonna be an amazing mama 🥰 I wish you a safe and happy birth 🙏🫂
Ahhhh how time fliess😭😭😭
Truly 🙊💚
