"The pain is part of me, so it can never be stronger than me" really hit me for a second. I'm not pregnant nor do I ever plan to be, but it applies to many things
You got this Sissel. You're doing it in the best possible way. Slow and steady wind the race as they say. Noa will be here soon. So many Aunties and Uncles who are so excited for his safe delivery and for your safe birthing.🙂
Hypnobirthing as a method is *amazing*. It was how I birthed my son and I can’t recommend it enough. The nurses were in awe of how calm and tolerant I was of the process. I walked for hours, took hot showers and pretended to be a mermaid, bounced on the ball (use that ball during labor--it helps soooo much), used my mind to be in charge of my experience, just breathed through the squeezes (changing your language is key, e.g. contraction is a pain word, so banish it from the room). If there is still time, Hypnobirth methods will carrying you through like a champion. Hugs!
Sissel, if you have the opportunity - go swimming. I enjoyed that so much. The best about it is that being in the water makes you need to pee even more but if you do go pee you are really relieved afterwards. Much more than normal. I can't find the right words in English, I'm from Germany. Also my experience as someone who's babies were all late: As you mentioned having s*x. If you get some contractions or discomfort after it, that's a good sign that your cervix starts to soften. When you really start labour, also n*pple stimulation helps, as that also releases oxitocin. You have a really good attitude and you can do it!
Ahh your videos always make me so excited to have my own little family someday! Trying to get to a healthy weight and get my health sorted before I have a baby, but using your videos as motivation really helps ❤
Sissel i’ve been watching your videos since i was in school now i’m one year from graduating collage, i’m so grateful that i found your videos you are the most authentic and genuine person i’ve seen, tysm for sharing these moments with us lysm 💚
Dearest Sissel, I don't know why but this video has made me feel so emotional at times💚 it feels like watching a friend and wanting them to be so happy:) I've been following you for years and it's refreshing and fills me with pride and joy to see how wonderfully you're growing. Can't wait for Noa to come, not long now, I can feel it! sending all my live to you three💫💌
Every time you post my day gets better! Thank you for sharing these moments with us. You are so right about the fact that most people go into labor after the due date. My friend was so stressed she had not gone into labor week 37 but she gave birth to a beautiful boy. Sending you love and strength from Canada🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼
I hope you enjoyed the video!! Yess there’s so much unnecessary stress to get the babies out early because of social media, I really wanna emphasize a realistic view 💚
Your giving me great ideas for when I’m ready to start working my little boy out of my belly☺️ I’m so grateful for your influence you give me so much peace and help me not be scared!
I hated this part the most when i was pregnant but its worth it. You and Hattie are together wow, love her vlogs. I used to confuse you guys before, i didnt know who was who but now i do
I hope you have a good delivery and a happy baby. I love watching your video and hope nothing for the best for you, Jake and your soon to be beautiful baby
I was induced with both my boys. They just didn't want to come out and they started to worry my doctors with their heart rates etc... But I still managed to birth them without pain relief. It can be done! Do what's best for you and your baby.
I don't know why I am investing my time in looking at videos about pregnancy and birth from a stranger that lives on another continent. Oh, wait, they are full of life and love and gentleness and authenticity. You feel like a dear old friend, Sissel and what do we do with friends? Investing in each other's dreams. Good luck (to you both) with this God given experience! We need more Scorpios ♏
Hello....you look beautiful 😍 My son was born in the beginning of May and his first winter he slept outside, entire winter no matter how cold it was, it's a European thing.....I was taking him in when I was ready to go to bed. He slept so well that made me very happy. I can't wait to see your baby, I'm as excited as you are I think 😊❤
Please please don’t be offended by what I’m gonna say - it’s not an old wives tale and it really helps….Im a registered nurse and midwife…Have as much sex as you can. Semen contains natural prostaglandins that soften and prepare the cervix for dilation/effacement and labour, and also induces contractions. Obviously it’s private between you and Jake, but if you are serious about going into labour, try it, it will get you going. - lots of sex, no condom or pulling out (obviously). Love you Sissel and can’t wait for this birth - I’m sending loads of love and positive energy to you - YOU CAN DO THIS!! 🌺❤️ And if you ever need any medical intervention during labour, it’s ok, try not to be disappointed - the only thing that truly matters is that you and Noah are safe and healthy. I hope everything goes according to plan, I truly do - but if it doesn’t, it’s ok, just be grateful there is a medical team who can intervene and help deliver your baby, whichever way is safest - you are blessed with the best of both worlds 🌺❤️
Oh those exercises you do with the ball are amazing. I wish I’d known about those. It looks so soothing to the hips and joints. Oh you’ll know when Noa is ‘engaged’ into the pelvis, because when you sit on a dining chair it will feel like you have a rugby ball in your ‘emergency entry no 1’ - I LOVE that saying by the way, it made me laugh 😆 With all your preparations and connecting your mindset and emotions, I think you will have a magickal and really profound and quick labour and birth. Listening to your body and your instincts is the way forward. Oh I wonder if you track back when your last period was and when you would have had your ‘normal’ period might give you an indication when you might go into labour as well - as the contractions are like very strong period pain that might be connected as well. I’m sending lots of love and good energy to you and I hope you have a wonderful and quick labour and birth 🩵🤍🩵
Your videos bring me back. My kids are 11 and 7 and I love watching you going through everything I did. Also getting my stroller was so exciting as well. The worst part was selling it when my kids were too big for it. I even kept it a few years longer because I wasn’t ready to let go 😢.
The day before I went into labor, I randomly decided to shop all day and then redecorate our living room. My mom was convinced all this mall walking we did started my labor. 🤣
I wish you and Noah good health. I also believe we will reach the million subscriber mark by the time Noah is born or at the age of one month.❤ Following you from Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦
You and your friend Cari Cakes make the most beautiful videos. It’s always a cinematic experience filled with a relaxing atmosphere. Wishing you a healthy safe delivery of Noa Sissel. 💖✨
Hi sissel ,i watch You from Romania,i love all Ur videos ,God bless You and Ur loved ones ,i pray to God to give a easy birth ,lots of health wishes for u and Ur baby boy ❤❤❤❤
Can we have a video w/ Jake ? Maybe an evening with the in-laws where you speak korean ? Or maybe one where you speak fully Danish? (Can't wait for Noa to arrive and speak to him with your language !)
Hii Sissel! I don’t think I’ve ever been this early haha 😅. I love your channel so much! You are such a relaxed, positive, organised and joyful person and I hope you know that! Noa is going to be so happy to have you as his mother. Keep shining Sissel! 🤍🫶🏻 #virgo energy
Hattie is a good friend I'm from the UK I got both of your channel but I enjoy you sissel and Jake enjoy baby soon in the UK they say enjoy 1 but 3 children some in 5 years and now I got 3 kids so can't wait for noa to come 😊😊
Sissel...I wish you a happy, safe, healthy labor and delivery. I can't wait to see you holding your sweet son. He is so blessed to have you both as his parents guiding him on his journey of life. Oh, I don't know if you mentioned it, but are you going to a postpartum center or coming straight home? Is your family coming to visit at some point?
Sissel have you felt fine drinking coffee during pregnancy? In the U.S. it is recommended to avoid coffee during pregnancy, but you said in Korea they believe it's supposed to help. Have you noticed benefits?
I remember when I was a kid hearing women tell pregnant women to drink a bottle of castor oil to get labor started. Disgusting🤢🤢🤢. Lol. I was lucky. My doctor said my baby was due February 21st when I was pregnant, and he was born at 2:03 PM that day. I had back labor. Hopefully, you won't.
Have you started rocking back and forth to build up momentum to get out of bed yet😂,that used to be my struggle whenever I needed to pee in the night..😂
OMG so many things i see brings back memories, my first baby was 14 days early cuz i was very sick with a high fever his labor was new exciting and 100% natural on hands and knees in bed like a gorilla during contractions i told myself this one is gone and never comes back one closer to meeting my child . There came a point that i thought please body give me 15 minutes of peace to regain strength but the body kept on going i felt separated from it like its really mind and body now the body is in power. The second baby was almost born in front of the bed because the mid MAN
I didnt think about any of these things prior to giving birth and thats good, cause in the end I wasnt given any choice. Once you are far enough over the due date the doctors decide for you - because its no longer about just you, but about saving the life of your baby. At least thats what it was like where I live. My birth story was quite bad, but nothing compared to my mother, who dis actually give birth two weeks prior the due date. When she gave birth to me. That story was way worse. Still I was never scared. And I already lived through it and still am not scared. I had none of the expectations and anticipations you have. I didnt even particularly look forward to becoming a parent. And my labour had to be induced. But the moment I held my son for the first time Inwas so overwhelmed with happiness. It was the happiest moment of my life. I immediately said: oh this is amazing- I need to have another one 😅

Dear sissel, i wish you all the best for delivery. 💜 do you film a birth story after you gave birth?
I'm so early omgg😭😭💓💓
I’m so glad 🙈💚
My daughter drank "RED RASPBERRY TEA" and her baby came early by one week.
My firstborn came exactly on the date he was due. Didn’t keep his Mummy waiting . However his sister was 6 days later than her due date 😂
A punctual kid ! 💚
I tried all the methods with my second child's pregnancy but I actually carried him till week 41😅😂

But why are you trying to induce labour? You’re only full term at 40 weeks. So there’s still time for baby to come on their own.
Both of my children were born healthy at over 40 weeks - I was healthy, they were healthy, plenty of amniotic fluid, so why induce?
💝

Later when you give birth, record it from contractions until the baby is born
Early !!
I'm not even pregnant, just older and I bet I go pee 4 to 6 times a night most nights. But that's part of aging I suppose.
Uhhh this is early
