"Steins;Gate", "Steins;Gate 0" and "Root Letter" are absolute must-haves! :) (Another reason, of course, was to be able to play "Persona 4 Golden".) I'm really happy I stumbled upon this channel. Basically, I got this game for £13.99 at my local game store on my PS Vita. The soundtrack is amazing, and I also got an art book with the game. The game itself took me ages to finish - very interesting and sinister. There are several endings which makes the game more fun but I was really hoping to get the platinum trophy and I'm two trophies short :/ chapter three I really disliked because it took me ages to get to read the letter and I just don't think the game is on my top 10 list. Quite frustrating and annoying when you can't figure out what the game wants you to do. But it is still a fun game, and I recommend it to anyone who loves mystery, art and beautiful music.

I’m just on my PS4 looking at the PSN sales and spotted Root Letter and the trailer I saw after clicking on it made me interested cus of the charming art style so thought I’d look at reviews :) I’m looking for something different from the usual shooters and action games so might try it. 👍🏻

Is Root Letter a good title to be introduced to the genre? I saw it a while back when it was added to the PS Store. The story really does sound interesting.
HellsInfernalRage Yes I think so :) Danganronpa is a fantastic VN with some interactive scenes if you like darker games, or Ace Attorney if you want something more light-hearted :) I think there's a great reddit thread with a list of suggestions for each platform out there too!
Great review Started playing the game, love the graphics, the game is stunning and love the soundtrack. The characters could be a bit better, they're a bit stereotypical and I don't like how the mc refers to them by their nicknames even after finding out their names, I especially don't like the fatty and bitch nickname , I wonder if it was less offensive in Japanese. It's my first visual novel and it really makes me want to play more of them. I still have to finish the game and I plan to play through all the endings.
It's such a beautiful game. I played the Chinese version and cannot let it down until I finish all endings. Chapter 3 is also a pain in a re-play through as you cannot answer the letter at the start of the chapter. The endings two of them are just kuso endings... they don't make much sense... One is just creepy till the end, the cursed ending (this is the one I got in my first play through) The only 2 good ending make more sense, but the true ending is just lovely. In my play through, I keep switching the voices for Aya and Shiori to switch up the experience.
Yes, you're right I basically missed Chapter 3's letter with every ending :P I think like many people I got the Crossed Path's one at first, but at least did inspire me to get a better ending!

I thought the interface and music were amazing! Very dreamy and relaxing, especially during parts like the restaurant. But don't get me wrong; the story wasn't the most amazing thing in the world. All the bad endings were a joke.
YouXplain So it took me 6.5hrs for my first ending, but once end game plus mode was unlocked it took 25mins for each ending because you can skip through cut-scenes & chapters, so about 10hrs to see all endings - hope that helps!

Steins;Gate is my favorite, along with Zero Escape trilogy and Danganronpa series. Try them out if you haven't already.

Hi, I was wondering if it's possible to switch language in this game, preferably just one part, voice or subtitles.
I really want to play this, hate that it's not on PC in English. Might pick it up on PS4 later down the line.
Ah who knows, most VNs like this end up on PC at some point, but yeah if you have the opportunity definitely check out the PS4 version :D
