Mike is the glue for this amazing gathering of song. His ear for music is equaled by his talent, and his very talented friends. I have to see these musicians live as part of my bucket list of "must see live" shows. Mike alone has an incredible voice and can play any instrument you give him. He's way too modest.
If you listen to the Immigrant Song, when Mike starts his intro, even cold-as-ice Randy, the bass player, was smiling, and then the beautiful Jessica comes along and outperforms Robert Plant.
I discovered LLB at the beginning of the pandemic and have been a subscriber to their TH-cam channel ever since. They, Hindley Street Country Club from Australia, legendary bassist Lee Sklar, and acoustic cover master Mike Massé kept me entertained and sane those first few months. I have continued to follow all of them to this day. I wish I had seen this segment when it aired, but I'm glad it was posted to TH-cam; it probably showed up in my recommendations due to being a subscriber to LLB's channel. Thanks for posting!

Even in The Netherlands we have heard of this amazing band. I really wanted to let you all know we honour this amazing cover band that plays these songs to their fullest with such an amazing way. The songs relive in such an amazing way. Played in a ...... I am searching for words. It is a blast from the past. With a twist of geniality and some new parts here and there that are such a treat.
I was born in the Netherlands (Hardenberg, Overijzel) and emigrated with my parents to South Africa in 1962 at the age of 8, so I am a Dutchman in South Africa enjoying this great band. I am still doing Software development at the age of 70 and I always have Spotify on the LLB channel or if I want to enjoy the real sight of master class musicians, I will be watching them on TH-cam.
I watched this before realizing we are now weeks away fro the 2023 show. And I cannot attend! Listening to LLB has caused me to love songs by bands I would not have listened to before. And as a musician myself, I understand the challenges and appreciate the talent. I wish LLB played live more often. It would be worth the trip from Massachusetts.
My 3 go to bands I listen to nightly are LLB, Hindley Street Country Club, and Joslin. Every night I listed to at least one from each! And I've been listening to LLB for at least 4 years now.
As talented as these guys are and the depth of the pool of talent they have to in their stable, if they put out their own music, pop/soft rock/country music would be shaken to its core!
