Could you make one where you are sitting in a pub/tavern? I think that would be great for a lot of us fantasy writers who generally have at least one scene in a tavern. As well as one for in a throne room? Or a great hall? I have some intense scenes in front of courts and the ambience would be amazing to hone in on.
As a Viking descendant & a fellow writer that has stories influenced by my Nordic background, this is the best immersive writing session ever! Thank you so much for making this. You're so inspirational!
If you want, can you include Hamburg (my Hometown in North Germany) in your stories, that would be really cool ^^. It was raided by vickings back than in history. I love history and the nordic/germanic mythology. Because of your ancestors they started to build the houses especially the churches with stone and not wood anymore. Your no raid without fire. 😅
These immersive sessions have radically changed my writing productivity! I like to put it on my projector so the room is really ambient and get so much done on each sprint. I would love to have one set in 1920s London like a cocktail bar or tea room.
There is absolutely NO WAY you matched the mood I needed, oh my gosh! The start sounds so epic! Thank you for collecting this music and for sharing it. Really means a lot.
These immersive writing sessions are the best thing I've ever found for staying focused. I like this one particularly, because of the sense of the journey. There are even transition images between the breaks and the sprints.
This whole channel has become a fast favorite for me. Study Time? Check! Painting? Check! Epic RPG scenes? Double Check. The dings ending sprints are super helpful and help me and my players be cognizant of real time and keep the plot moving forward.
To be honest,I'm asian who passionate with norse culture i'm so glad to listen gorgeous sountrack in viking theme like this and you're doing a great job you make me feel into it deep down to the music that full of history (it's so fit with reading norse mythology and viking history from my opinion.) Thank you so much💓
Sawadee kap. If you ever come to Denmark you should visit Roskilde. There are a Viking ship museum. There you can sail viking ship replicas made after ones found and they are made with same tools as then in open workshops you can watch. Close by are also the church where Danish Royals from the Viking age and forward are buried. It´s a little hours train ride from Copenhagen. If this are an interest field for you you can easily spend an entire day there. Denmark have the oldest Royal family in Europe and they formed our nation during the Viking age and have an unbroken lineage to this day.
In the land of the Vikings, there lived a warrior named Thorsten. He was a fierce and skilled fighter, feared by his enemies and respected by his fellow warriors. He had fought in countless battles and had proven himself to be a true hero. One day, Thorsten set out on a new adventure. He boarded an old Viking ship and set sail over the ocean to a mysterious snowy wilderness. The sea was rough, and the wind was cold, but Ragnar was determined to reach his destination. As the ship approached the shore, Thorsten could see a vast forest stretching out before him. The trees were tall and dark, and the ground was covered in a thick layer of snow. Thorsten knew that this was going to be a challenging journey, but he was ready for it.He and his companions disembarked from the ship and began hiking through the dark winter forest. The trees towered over them, and the snow was knee-deep, making it hard to move. But Thorsten pressed on, leading the way through the frozen wilderness. After hours of hiking, they finally arrived at a fire-lit traveler's camp. The camp was filled with people from different lands, all gathered around the warm fire, sharing stories and drinking ale. Thorsten and his companions were welcomed with open arms, and they joined in the festivities. As the night went on, Thorsten listened to the stories of the other travelers. He heard tales of battles won and lost, of brave warriors and cunning foes. But he also heard stories of hardship and struggle, of people who had lost everything and had to start again from scratch. Thorsten was reminded of his own struggles in life. He had fought in many battles, but he had also faced personal challenges. He had lost loved ones, and he had been betrayed by friends. But through it all, he had never given up. He had always kept fighting, always kept moving forward. As the fire burned low and the night grew cold, Thorsten realized that this journey was not just about adventure and excitement. It was also about life struggle and the human experience. He knew that the road ahead would be long and hard, but he was ready to face it, no matter what challenges lay ahead. And so, Thorsten and his companions left the traveler's camp and set out once again into the glassy frozen wilderness. They knew that there would be rising and falling battles, changing landscapes, and new struggles ahead. But they were determined to face them all, together, with help of a Gods as true Nordic warriors.
Abbie I am not a writer (well sometimes). I am a coloring Hobbyist and am SO SO SO grateful I found your Channel. I become totally, insanely immersed in my projects. You have saved my sanity and my body thanks you too.
Everyone: writing their stories Meanwhile me: uses this for Literature essays, not having time to finish even a single chapter Epic compilation! Loved it! As I am highly invested in Nordic history and mythology, this was splendid and I want to thank you for it!
This was a very lucky find for me--currently working on an arc that involves an epic ocean journey and this suits perfectly. Would you consider one day doing a desert/Arabian themed one? That would be really cool to see :)
The Golden Hawaiian Swordsman Dragon can enjoy writing with you!!!! He also HIGHLY ENJOYS writing as well!!! He also wants to write a story about a Human/Dragon Hybrid Swordsman who wields a legendary sentient evil-destroying sacred hero's holy sword and has a extremely beautiful & ultra sultry, very kindhearted and extremely friendly Arabian belly dancer pacifist girlfriend!!!👒🗡️🐉💃🥰👍
I’ve been wanting to start writing for years. I’ve recently come upon your channel, and I think it is exactly the kick in the pants I needed to finally start. Thank you for being awesome and for being an inspiration to us!
I've been writing for a Nordic themed D&D campaign for a while now and I recently got stuck in my writing but this helped push me out of that slump! Much appreciated :]
I discovered your immersive writing sessions recently and I love them! They're challenging, fun, and I always get a lot more writing done while listening to them than when I listen to anything else. The structure of the sprints and breaks really helps me.
Yesss! This is exactly what I've been hoping for!!! I'm a writer of Norse histfic, and I've been dying for a video like this for months! Thanks, Abbie!
Really loving these but I won't lie, I end up sprinting all the way through to the end without breaks but I love that I'm no longer losing complete track of time!
AYEEEEEE THIS IS SO COOL I love this series so much!! They're always really well made and inspiring and I look forward to every new one. Maybe we'll see some more Victorian ones later? 👀 somebody had an idea for a dark masked ball theme and I'd absolutely love to see that one day
Doing some plotting scripts to these for my first epic fantasy series thanks! Working on the plot outlining all the scenes! Thanks for the video / music with the sprints!
This is absolutely amazing and has become my go-to for high-stakes traveling montages and fight scenes, actually. Thank you very much for helping me focus on my writing instead of getting distracted every ten minutes because the music isn't right. Could somebody please tell me the name of the song playing at the 22 minutes mark of the second sprint? Around 34:00. It's been stuck in my head forever and I can't seem to find it anywhere.
These playlists are awesome! Such a great idea. I tend to write to heavy metal, but this would work. For dark fantasy or Gothic vibe, may I recommend music by Peter Gundry?
Hey all - one of the comments below gave me the idea to ask you - and Abbie's from New England I think, too. My current WIP is set in 1876 New England (haven't settled on a state yet,) but I can't find period folk music. I know it was a lot of band music in towns and at events -- but I need stuff people sang to themselves while working and around the fire, etc. Anyone know anywhere to point me?

This is the Pomodoro Technique taken to a whole new level of epicness. What a great idea!
As a Viking descendant & a fellow writer that has stories influenced by my Nordic background, this is the best immersive writing session ever! Thank you so much for making this. You're so inspirational!
I’m a viking descendant too !
I think my folks were farmers and fishers :)
Gotta love all the viking descendants here watching their countries and women getting ravaged by immigrants lmao.
Nice same here

I have been using your videos to write a Master's assignment. The Pomodoro technique keeps me energized and engaged!

Oh my god, why did I not think of putting these up on my projector? Genius idea tbh
@@fennecry Glad I inspired something! It makes a big difference to the mood that’s for sure 😊

I was so unmotivated to write today, but this video helped me push past it and get the creativity flowing! Thank you so much ❤

I actually love the Viking aesthetic, thanks for this Abbie
Gonna buy a boat and change my name to Fjorgaard
Reminds me of Assassin's Creed Valhalla
@@unicorntomboy9736 Oh? So sad. Reminds me of Erik the Viking. Only without Tim Robbins, this time.

Excellent job!! I appreciate that you didn’t just post AI generated art, you actually took the time to add animations and truly customize it!
Yassss!! This is my actual topic for my WIP so it's like you read my mind. Thanks a lot!
These are really good for my own stories. True, most of the time my mood was different, but it is better than silence.
This is THE BEST EVER it matches the mood of my story perfectly!!!
This is such a good idea-right on!
I love these writing sessions! They have been such a game changer in my productivity. Thank you!
I'd love to see one of these set in a medieval/fantasy city!!

Maybe a Japanese anime cyberpunk writing session
