Great point about the cheap clothing. What could help people who can’t afford luxury clothing, is to shop at consignment and thrift stores close to affluent areas - this is where those people will drop off their gently used clothing of great name brands.
Or look for sample sales or buy when good quality clothes are on sale. As long as they are classic clothes they will not be out of date. Buy less but better quality. I
I always go shopping at the high-end mall and the subsequent thrift store in that area. I scored big last time. I was able to get my hands on a Burberry coat for like 300 dollars (it was literally worn like 4 times) and a really nice pair of Jimmy Choos in my size for only 100 dollars. I was so proud of myself. 😂
I disagree with you! The really straight hair looks modern and youthful on your face. Reminds me of Bella Hadid. It emphasizes your cheekbones. Love this look!
I really love how you share your best advice, and always add "this is what works for me", respecting other people's opinions and body types. Your openness and politeness are refreshing!
1. Stilettos - no more 14-15cm/5-6in heels, they’re too sexy, stick to 10cm/4in max 2. Cheap clothing - poor quality clothing that loses its shape and color within a few washes + it harms the environment 3. Babydoll style tops - looks cheesy and a bit bulky, tailored clothing is better and looks more feminine and expensive exception: works on apple shaped bodies 4. Skinny jeans - only wear it if you have the body for it, works on skinny long legs, looser trousers look better on bigger calves 5/6.Uncomfortable jeans - trousers tend to be much more comfortable and look better 7. Black - more white, beige, and pastels; just comes and goes in phases, might get into colors soon
I disagree with the skinny jeans, I don’t have long legs, I am petite and proportionate. They look great with a bit of a heel, I think they’re feminine.
7. I agree with having fabulous healthy hair and when it comes to a wardrobe sticking to neutrals - black white beige (and in my case shades of violet (purple) (you can dye with Walmart Dye) so that the clothing matches. Rather change the shoes/boots . Play with accessories and scarfs till you achieve the look you like
I've never thought jeans were comfortable. Ever! Plus, being nearly six feet tall, finding any kind of jeans, pants or trousers that fit well is a chore, indeed. A few years ago, I rediscovered the joys and comfort of wearing dresses & skirts - plus the fact that they are so feminine & flattering. So much time wasted trying to find that perfect pair of jeans... sigh.
Jeans do not drape properly. They are not warm in winter. Get some viscose pants from Anthropologie or wherever you can find them. My pair cut the wind even when it is minus 31 degrees in Ottawa.
I never understood why everyone finds them uncomfortable? I never wear leggings or sweatpants unless I am training or on my period, I don't understand the situation at all? Not all jeans have to be skinny
Well, not wearing jeans doesn't mean that sweatpants and leggings are the only next option. There are so many other options like dress pants, chinos, palazzos, trousers. Also jeans doesnt mean skinny jeans only. Its the material maybe, its almost suffocating. Ive lived in really humid n hot tropical places and i thought maybe the weather is unsuitable but jeans are not very comfortable in cold weather either . Its just uncomfortable for some ppl.
I love her so much for being real, honest. Shes gorgeous of course yet she admits her body flaws or what she feels, I bet her calves are perfect. Her advice always works, I find myself laughing with her because I'm guilty of some thing's she mentions. Awesome personality and wow she is a classy elegant lady.
I like the way that you are very classy with how you speak, you say things like “you are free to disagree” “and correct me if I’m wrong” they might sound like very little things but I really admire that.
Muna Al Thani I love that she refrains from using filler words. Please ladies, stop using like, um and literally to fill in the blanks. Pause, and then make your point. If you read on a daily basis, your vocabulary will expand, thereby eliminating filler words. It will make you sound smarter and that will make you much more classy.
I love how you don’t dismiss anything completely just like “from the top of the high horse”. You always have good reasoning and can explain it so well, also it’s great that you recognise that there can be exceptions to any rule. It’s probably main reason why I keep hanging around and watching your videos even though at first I felt like I am so not your ideal watcher. But in the end, I feel like I am taking some bits out of your videos, even if it’s just confirmations of things that I already know.

Hi! Do you have some recommendations for naturally curvy (thick thighs, hips, or busty) women? Sometimes I feel because of my body shape I come off as “sexy” instead of elegant.
There's a few people I can think of whose style I emulate as a fellow busty/big butt woman. Celebrities: Christina Hendricks, Sofia Vergara, Jordin Sparks, Salma Hayek. Instagrammers: @ms_leon , kennipowe
I have same problem. I find that trousers and flare jeans work wonders for my shapely bottom and hips. They balance your curves, aren't too revealing and are more comfortable than skin hugging skinny jeans.
You’re beautiful . Don’t be so hard on yourself ! The straight hair makes your cheekbones look amazing 😊 Great information as always . Getting ready to enroll my eldest child in your online course !
Skinny jeans and equestrian boots - my favourite look! Then again, I am 6 feet tall so my jeans are always too short. Boots are the best solution. You give such good advice, thank you.
I'm an Aries too, and I totally get the 'going through phases' phenomenon. Such great videos, and I see some de-cluttering going on in my future! Thank you!
I totally agree when it comes to jeans.... I only wear skirts and dresses (outside of gym & loungewear), because I find anything else uncomfortable and not flattering
"Transformation and level up my lifestyle..." This is the direction I want to go. Hi Anna, do you have any books to recommend for people who wants to level up their lifestyle?
Thank you so much for saying jeans are uncomfortable. I have so many friends that don't understand why I don't wear jeans. No one will admit they're uncomfortable. They just wear them because everyone else wears them.
Fascinating as always. I have been re-evaluating my wardrobe recently. For me definitely as part of an ‘age thing’. I am also very tired of items that change shape after washing
I’m a Gemini with Aries ascendant (according to Vedic astrology). I love all styles-Boho, chic, classic, etc,,,,My wardrobe has been very confused in the past but I’ve needed to upgrade to more classic and elegant for the next phase of my life. That’s why I like watching your videos. I’m much older than you and I have to say to the younger women who are watching that I wish I had understood the importance of style to help personal achievement in all areas of life, when I was younger. Thank you for helping me understand the importance of timeless fashion.
I just came across your videos, very refreshing! I agree with just about everything you talk about. To my mind women on the whole look dreadful but it's not possible to buy decent clothes without paying a fortune. It's good to see that high waist pants are now coming back, I didn't buy pants for years because they stop below the waist at the widest part of the body making one look short and fat. I have clothes I bought in the 80's and am still wearing, especially shoes which have not dated. Now I'm 74 and I can't be bothered putting together an out fit every day so I have taken selfies in various outfit combinations - saves a lot of time!
I love elegance i always prefer dressy over sporty. I used to be so sporty and never felt sexy so i always opt to be a little more dressy than under dressy. Regardless, i think i have a good balance in my wardrobe but i cant stop listening to these videos. At the end of the day, learning to be classy and refined is so attractive and shes really teaching how to be more modest but dress beautifully. I love it
Fellow Aries here as well! 🙋🏻♀️ I completely get what you mean about always switching things up and going through phases. I do the same things. Love all of your videos! Straight to the point and so informative!
Thank you for being so open and honest about yourself. It helps us related to you and also helps us make better choices. I try to follow the rule, “Quality over Quantity” for most things in my life.
Please list places to buy those items! I found one place down close to a Saks store in Naples!! Simple classy looks! Hard to find!!! I’m in my 40s and I want a skirt that’s mid thigh and I can never find one it’s either my butt is hanging out because I’m tall or it’s too long!!! I like pencil skirts that are long with a slit. But I like a skirt that’s at least mid thigh
As an elder-goth, I wear a lot of black and my idea of wearing colors = dark, earthy tones that look good with black lol. Mauve looks amazing on me, as does mustard/yellow, but I am not ready to venture into brighter colors yet.
This week ive been watching your videos almost 15-20 episodes already, and ive learned so much about fashion, the dos and donts wearing outfit. And how to be classy woman, ive got a lot of inputs and for sure i will apply it on my being. Youre so good
This is just exactly my own list! By the way, the idea of getting more pastels is because I have been seeing your videos for quite some time now, and light colors make you look so fresh and delicate! About the jeans, I agree with your comments too, especially about the comfortless issue. Even those with good elasticity are not as comfort are any trousers. Thank for your videos! They're really helping me to be more elegant! I love that!!!
These are great tips thank-you. And now I don’t feel so alone with trying to find the perfect casual shoes. Thank you so much for doing these clips for us & for you.
I am not an Aries but I relate to just about everything you said. I feel like as women it’s common for us to go through moods and phases as we naturally like to mix it up or change things every so often
I love how conversational this video was, like you were sitting opposite me having my kind of fashion discussion. Just add rose' and the picture is complete ;)
Ever since skinny jeans came on the scene, I have been unable to tell them apart from leggings! (When I see them on others.) I think they are not classy. Even when Duchess Kate wears them. TMI!!!! Also, since I’ve been out of my teens I dislike stiletto heels. Designed by men to objectify women, and make them unsafe. I wore black suede pointy-toed 2” heels, with a sparkly long dress, to a formal occasion. Just right!
oh god i hate them so much 😫 its so uncomfortable to wear. but at the same time i feel like they are the only ones who look more elegant than mom jean you know? 💔
Agreed, high-end loafers last forever and look great, also high end flats, not ballerinas but a regular shoe cut with a low heel (usually about 1inch). Do not consider loafers 'formal', but I have seen 'formal flats' that are beautiful for formal occasions.
I love watching these videos with key points. Also, you make me laugh because you say things so serious. For example, it makes me look like a sausage. 😂😂😂
Fellow Aries ♈️ I can agree lol I got through phases in clothing like what you described... 2 years with this style, 6 months with these colors. I used to love yellow tops and dresses and suddenly I hated them lol I’m into green and cream colors right now
As a fashion photographer, I love all your videos. On the technical side, this video is well put together and extremely well delivered. Be careful about all the video "cut aways", it is a bit distracting. A bit "jerky" in motion. Overall, you do wonderful work and I look forward to more of your videos.
I would like to see a closet clean out video. I’m working hard on getting rid of what’s not elegant. It’s a bit overwhelming. Perhaps how to store sweaters and pajamas. I would love to learn the proper way. Hats as well.
Please take us into a store and show us how you shop, how you pick what is elegant, Pick this...not this.

I'm an Aries too, and I totally get the 'going through phases' phenomenon. Such great videos, and I see some de-cluttering going on in my future! Thank you!
Straight hair looks amazing on you!
Donate the cloths you don’t wear, don’t throw them away!
Good idea. Shelters and drop-ins always clean clothing.
Yes! Another Aries here. Everything gets boring eventually and we are onto something new 😄
I am an Aries too and that’s the case for me! I guess this really is an Aries thing. 😂
I totally agree when it comes to jeans.... I only wear skirts and dresses (outside of gym & loungewear), because I find anything else uncomfortable and not flattering
You are honest and straight forward. And I love that.
This video is so relatable! I also have wide hips and favor trousers. I laughed so hard at the sausage comment.
I love how you are elegantly funny and so shady sometimes but in a really classy way.. and thanks for all your advice
"Transformation and level up my lifestyle..." This is the direction I want to go.
Hi Anna, do you have any books to recommend for people who wants to level up their lifestyle?
Hi gorgeous, try reading Caitlin Moran's books.
@@french_daily_cupcake17 You’re an angel. Thank you dear.
Anna, I Love your hair straight, and your complexion is stunning in this video‼️ You look very much younger !Beautiful🌸💕🎉
Yes I’m an Aries and my whole life is a phase!
Haha, us Aries are very passionate too !
Me too! An Aries can wear anything with confidence.
I’m Aries too 😊
Same here too😀😀
Feel that lol
I’m a Gemini with Aries ascendant (according to Vedic astrology). I love all styles-Boho, chic, classic, etc,,,,My wardrobe has been very confused in the past but I’ve needed to upgrade to more classic and elegant for the next phase of my life. That’s why I like watching your videos. I’m much older than you and I have to say to the younger women who are watching that I wish I had understood the importance of style to help personal achievement in all areas of life, when I was younger. Thank you for helping me understand the importance of timeless fashion.
You could design your own brand of shoes or stylish elegant clothing line😘
A video showing us your weekly outfits would be so helpful! 💕
Less is more. Quality is the key. Save me closet room, and help me feel confident. But I love skinny jeans.😊
I love my skinny jeans. Everything else makes me look dumpy. They always stretch at the knees.
Rosemarie Temple-Smith great idea: the selfies. What a time saver!
🙋🏻♀️ I completely get what you mean about always switching things up
and going through phases.
Your hair always looks nice, and this different style looks great too.
I like this straight hair on you. Makes you look youthful and more elegant.
As an elder-goth, I wear a lot of black and my idea of wearing colors = dark, earthy tones that look good with black lol. Mauve looks amazing on me, as does mustard/yellow, but I am not ready to venture into brighter colors yet.
I like very deep dark navy with black clothing.
I love it when a new video from Anna pops up! Especially these "do's and don'ts" videos
Hello Elegant ladies
She looks absolutely stunning! I love this hairstyle (on her).
Thanks you again for your sharing your talent for me to wear or not to wear, so that we looking good to see what I "m wearing..
I am not an Aries but I relate to just about everything you said. I feel like as women it’s common for us to go through moods and phases as we naturally like to mix it up or change things every so often
Is she an aries?
I love how conversational this video was, like you were sitting opposite me having my kind of fashion discussion. Just add rose' and the picture is complete ;)
I’ve been starting to hate skinny jeans too.
They are like leggings. Which I prefer to the skinny jeans, for casual wear, to go walking.
Ever since skinny jeans came on the scene, I have been unable to tell them apart from leggings! (When I see them on others.)
I think they are not classy.
Me too they never fit me right
What other jeans are there REALLY?
So many good points about finding things that work for your own body. I love the Kibbe style system! 💗
I am aries with ascendent also aries and I am exactly like you... This list could be mine! Big kiss from Switzerland.
Same here
Your hair straight still looks great!
Btw when are u going to do bags we should buy??
Thx beautiful
Wearing your best colors Tracy Hensel has some really useful info on this matter.. it really helped me you should watch this
Formal shoes that are comfortable: loafers. Depending on the design they can be very elegant.
Agreed, high-end loafers last forever and look great, also high end flats, not ballerinas but a regular shoe cut with a low heel (usually about 1inch). Do not consider loafers 'formal', but I have seen 'formal flats' that are beautiful for formal occasions.
I LOVE Loafers they are my favorite type of shoes! Unfortunately they are to expensive for me 😩😭😭
Sarah Lelièvre Gucci loafers (as seen on Dakota Johnson) are the best. So classy and comfortable. Just way out of my price range.. (cries in poor) 😭
@@vcp365 😂😂😂
Yes loafers!!
Your hair looks gorgeous, this video has inspire me, thank you.
That phase situation you were talking about is something I relate to so much! And I even foresee my next phase like you said! I’m a Pisces however
From a stylist, your face looks much A-line with straight hair than your normal wavy. One vote for your straight hair.😊
Your hair looks a bit more “edgy “ on you. As you have an elegant style this you may prefer a more timeless style.
I love watching these videos with key points. Also, you make me laugh because you say things so serious. For example, it makes me look like a sausage. 😂😂😂
I love this reconstruction ways of premium style. ❤
I love that you have more of a positive message these days!! Taking about sustainable clothing and such ❤️
Hello Anna, thank for the video, I wanted to tell you that your hair looks amazing, it really suits you and I really like it. Have a nice day!
