Just today, the NOAA has marked the damage toll by Ian at 112 billion dollars- over twice that of the previous costliest hurricane in Florida history Irma (which was $50 billion).
Ian is now the third costliest tropical cyclone of all time, surpassing Maria from 2017
Oh my god, thats nearly as high as Katrina and Harvey!
Considering Models initally wanted Ian to go for Tampa, the WMHB Ian might surpass those two after making landfall in Tampa which would also give ir more time to stregthen.

That would be about double the entire 2020 Season, combined!

I cannot bear to imagine how the CHP6 animation will be.
Ian will be 180 or 185 mph in CHP6 and Fiona will be 160 mph and strike Canada as a cat 4
Also, honest opinion: I’m not fond of the new C5 icon. It looks kinda janky.
I agree, especially on Wallace. Its way too bright and the colour doesnt change anymore it just gets really bright.

The 1992 WMHB Andrew was the SS one, so the real Andrew on 1992 became Bonnie in the WMHB

Charlie went into South Florida, where Ian did, not the panhandle. Ivan was Cat 3 at landfall not Cat 4. Fact checking seems to be a low priority.
It truely amazes me how people completely ignore titles and descriptions. You seem to have a low priority on fact checking yourself.
@@heuniofied They could have at least gotten history correct. Isn't that real? 2004 Charley wasn't imagined and they had it going into Pensacola rather than Ft Myers. If they have no understanding of history, then anything they predict or theorize is crap.
