Im watching lots of tournament vods and I can tell you Link does fairly well (well for char that is picked that rarely) if im not mistaken there are atleast two Link Players who are domintaing their local scene so there is that

Stop calling Link high tier. He isn't high tier. He's just piloted by the players who know neutral game well and have decent execution. Salem, in spite of being a $4!T head, has the skills to make Link look good.
@Primo Antonius No. I'm saying Link is shy of high tier. The issue with Link is that the meta SMOTHERS him. Any spacer with a long hitbox and any rushdown character chews on Link. It's his weakness, that weakness also happens to be the most common matchup for him. Link has a special kind of attribute in this game. He's either REALLY good in the matchup, or REALLY BAD in the matchup. No body is carried by a character except for Wolf mains tbh. I don't know any player who is carried by Link, other than NEW players who are playing online against worse players. Link is quickly dropping in everyone's tier list for a reason. You're probably one of those guys who thought K Rool was a good character.
