my girlfriend were listening to this on the background, she just came in with a remark that went like this, "That guy sounds like he should be housting a nighttime radio show, hes voice is so calm and soft" and i´ll have to agree! :) ps, great review!
This looks like a higher quality construction and sound capabilities than the Yamaha MG10XU which I currently have. Wish I could do a side by side comparison. Excellent video btw !
Great demo well done. Love A&H desks, I've got a ZED 12FX and ZED R16 and they're a joy to use. Must say it looks like they've improved the "user interface" on the ZED Sixty 10FX, much cleaner layout with some improved push buttons and clearer markings. Really like the per-channel push-button send to USB.
Thanks for the info. What kind of USB mixer would be able to handle say 8 in and 8 out channels simultaneously? Something that in practice would enable me to record 8 separate tracks to my DAW, but then also enable the mixing of those tracks on the desk hardware faders, EQs and Aux. I am using Zoom r24 which enables me to record 8 simultaneous tracks, but only outputs 2 channels.
I'm using the ZED 10 fx, has anyone else noticed a noise that piles up on each recording? It's just soft white noise, but after you've made a few recordings and layered them you can really hear it. I've tried adjusting the Unity Gain and the Output gain switches on the back, nothin'.
Can you feed multiple channels to and from your DAW via the USB? If you had say a 4 channel mix in your DAW, could you route each channel to the desk channels and use the desks volumes, EQs, Aux etc?
I'm routing my DJ controller to my Zed 10fx because I needed multiple microphones, how do I get the best and loud sound in this type of set up. Do I need to tweek some knobs on the zed mixer? Thank you.

The USB can handle 2 outputs and 2 inputs i.e its a 2in 2 out USB sound card so can't do 4 ins/ outs on separate channels.
Great review, thanks!
So this mixer connects to my PC via USB?
