I have been wearing this helmet for 2 months now and have a few 100 miles on them. The fit is excellent, its light weight and is comfortable. Wind noise is an issue though, as with most modular helmets. I have started using ear plugs and they have made a huge difference. Overall, good bang for the buck on this helmet. I also brought one for the wife.
My boyfriend has the Nolan N90 and is very happy with it. I have worn it a couple times and also think it is a good helmet. If I was in the market for a modular helmet, this one would be at the top of my list.
I bought this helmet for my class, I loved the visor and the venting!! The sun visor came in handy when the sun came out after the rain that came out of no where!! With the visor up I had great venting , and while waiting for my turn with it open completely was a good feeling. Te only issue for me is the fix with my glasses. Other than that a good fix on my big round head.
I suggest giving our Gear Geeks a call to have them walk you through the process. Without having the helmet in my hands, I want to say it just pops out. There may be a set screw at the faceshield mechanism that holds it in place? ~Ali
He's right, it lets in quite a bit of air from underneth that makes it loud but what can you expect at that price point. For reference I'm used to Shoei and Arai and it was a buddy's helmet. On his particular example that flip down sun visor was also rubing in the middle every time is was moved up and down abrading the middle of the shield and had to go back to the company for repair with no loaner plan in place while it's gone. Sucks for him as it was his only helmet and the season is coming.
Just bought this helmet and I'm lovin' it. I have only one issue; I haven't been able to remove the VPS (sunglasses) so I can clean them. I could remove only one side and I'm afraid if I pull too much on the other one I'll break it. Any suggestions??
