    Born and bred in London but moved to Canada many years ago. I grow all my own veg here in Ontario's Bruce Peninsula. I only watch British gardening vlogs and I must say Tony, yours are a delight. I tune in every day, keep up the good work!

    After misplacing some hand garden tools that did not reappear till the following spring, I learned that spraying the handles neon orange was a good idea. (all right, the weeds were grown up too big and hid the tools, I admit it.) I also took to wearing a half apron with pockets in front, great for parking tools, tomato ties, seed packets and gloves till I need them. ( like a carpenters apron.)

    Fantastic that Reed passed. I love how your kids cook so many interesting things. Where do they find the recipes 🤔
    You'll have to add a few cooking vlogs done by the kids, when you're feeling up to it

    Great video with all our usual Tony favourites: losing something then finding it again, cauliflower stroking, gratuitous arse shot, and referring to something as 'shite man'.

    I haven’t bought anything ready grown but only because it’s difficult to get to a garden centre, a bit of help at this time of year goes a long way. ❤️

    I was told to roast the carrot greens to dry them and then store them to add to soups etc as flavouring. I’m going to try that soon. And the carrots aren’t a failure. You’ve got some carrots to eat. Success. Don’t best yourself up, Tony. ❤️❤️❤️

  • @lynnes698
    @lynnes698 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Tony, pick the caulis before the sun gets on them and they start to go pink, you can freeze them, have you tried roasted cauliflower? Fabulous!

    Small carrots that I get when thinning out (I leave them just for this) are so sweet, not a failure.
    Are you allowed to keep chickens ? Veggie scraps. Turning into eggs!

    Tony…I saw a vid by a channel called Ivans gardening allotment and he had really good success with growing carrots in a 5inch deep and long container in a greenhouse. Worth a watch and chance maybe…?

    Hi Tony love the content. I find this idea of a second spring amazing. I've already harvested one lot of caulis and cabbage.,with one lot in the ground & some seedlings in the greenhouse to go out in about a month its gonna be a good year. All the best keep it coming big lad.

    Last year my Cavalo Nero grew to well over 2 feet in height, tastes lovely but i grew way to many, I also grew the round cabbage, they went extremely well, I just planted some musselbrough leeks out yesterday ( tuesday 11 .7.23 ) Great video once again Tony, thoroughly enjoyed it. Keep them coming

    I have a lot of veg all coming at the same time and nothing to replace it with 🤦‍♀️ still learning but at least I’m popular with the neighbours 😂 going to convert to raised beds over the winter so I don’t want to put anything in that will stop that work but it is only July. Any ideas of what would be good to plant? Thanks for the videos, always learning 👍

    Carrots weren't even nice enough for the root fly to attack 😂😂 I'm sure mine will be the exact same when I pull them ha! Spuds look brilliant though Tony, still loads of life left in the ones in the ground to fatten up
