Hi Tony, you are only human, we all forget but, your plants look alright, Don beat yourself up about it, it's a busy time for everyone. Great video on sowing your seeds and your greenhouse is looking good too. Thanks for sharing and take care 😊
I was obsessing over how lovely and charming both the Smith family kitchen and backyard garden are and wondering if we will ever get the chance to meet Mrs Smith, when you showed your watch and we got a glimpse of her! I love her taste and style and would love to hear Mrs Smith's perspective of her husband's gardening obsession. Does she ever say Oh Tony what am I supposed to do with all that? When you come home from the allotment with a full basket or is she usually delighted? Does she get aggravated when you spill the potting soil in her gorgeous backyard garden? Does she love plants as much as you do? Tell her hello from Kansas City Missouri USA!
Good luck with the Ishikura onions Tony! I find them difficult to germinate. Everything looking beautiful. I had to replant my tomatoes as they never thrived and eventually gave up the ghost. All the best
It’s all go just now Tony you’ve just prompted me to sow more brassicas, I’m constantly running out of compost, I hope everything grows to harvest ‘cos I won’t have any money to actually buy food it’s all gone on compost😂
Hey there Tony! As a subscriber from California, our growing seasons are a bit different. But one thing I'm sure of, is that Calima beans are one of the best tasting, easy to grow bush beans available. I presently have two succession plantings growing. In a couple of weeks I'll drop more seeds. These beans are tender, flavorful, and have no strings. I ONLY grow Calimas now...after years of growing many others. Luckily, I'm able to direct sow. Don't know if I'd have the patience to sow in trays and transfer inground.😊
Hi, your VLOG are so great. I’m a novice gardener and I’m learning so much from you. What size pots did you use? I have looked at containerwise and there’s so many variety and it’s a bit confusing😩
Thanks Tony for the link on the seedtrays. I live in sweden but I found a shop that carries those, have been looking for trays that can last a long time. Thanks again 😊
Tony, You are growing my favorite Lima Bean the Christmas Lima is a beautiful color and has a buttery mouth feel. Best of luck, you will need a trellises they are a large vining plant.
Hi Tony, do you know of a retailer of Calima Beans in the UK? The only ones I've found online are based in the Netherlands and do not ship to the UK. Or is there an equivalent to tasting beans? Thanks for your help. 😊
Can’t find Calma dwarf beans supplier in UK . I would love to try a few, do you save seeds? Containerwise seems to be out of stock. These questions could have beeb for Potty mouth garden club, will it be back?🤔✅
Aww I had a look straight away on that site but they are sold out. They were £40 for the 20. I'm going to start my beans tomorrow - I'm doing my usual, Borlotti beans, as well as trying out Cannellini Beans and Yin Yang beans :)
I’m going to leave mine because we have so many cold wet days where I am in the West Pennines that I think there’s a danger the fruit won’t mature in time. The plant will put its energy into shoots rather than fruits.

Thank you for videos Tony, inspiring as always, your honesty with husbandry window cleaning is real and so relatable, very funny!
Lima is said lime-ah. At least in my neck of the woods, lol. Thanks Tony for your videos.
Either pronunciation is fine. The bean is named after the city and that’s lee ma. It’s the taste that counts. Lol!

Hi Tony - nip off the growing tips of your chilli plants, this will make them put out side shoots / go bushy and thereby produce a lot more fruits 👍
