I absolutely agree with you... and so do some constructors that are thinking of quitting F1 and producing a league of their own, but without FIA rules about displacement and intake orifice diameter, F1 makers would have simply used bigger 8000rpm engines instead of small displacement 19000 rpm engines, so we'd be missing out on the high revving sound if it wasn't for the FIA's b.s. :(

I miss V10 !
In fact, I agree with you. No big difference to the ears. Instead, you can hear the difference between a V10 and a V12 engine.
Would be nice that the current Honda V6 PU could be as competitive as this V10.
