Absolutely my favourite so far. Even with the sky wallpaper, there's so much space in the loft, you could have a comfy little seating and storage area on one side, and the bed on the other. Downstairs can be for working. The shower is a little small, but it's manageable. If there's some sort of public bathhouse nearby that would be ideal. The kitchen is small but there's lots of space for the refrigerator. If the landlord would let us install a small shelf above the washing machine, as well as in the bathroom, it would be perfect!
And it's cheap! I'd choose this one!
I think for toilet paper storage you could also just use tension rods.

The loft provides both a sleeping place and storage possibilities. A sleeping bag and a mattress would do. No danger of falling down. No bed in the living room. And for that price, it's a bargain. To me, this is the best of all appartments you visited. Hurry now, take it before someone else does!

If the fridge was small enough, you could have a microwave on top of it or a rice cooker and an air fryer!

Usui-san, i think this micro apartment definitely worth for the value. You have extra breathing space at the living area and also at loft area. The furniture arrangement is same as you did and use futon as bed. I think this setup will help you boost at being productive. By far, this one is the best. 😆
He can probably put a standard mattress in the loft as well if it bendable enough.

Thank you for making me smile today! It's good to see Spidey with so many friends. This apartment is the best we have seen. The negative points are few--it lacks toilet paper storage, and it doesn't have a bathtub. But it has so much space, and the loft is quite good. There is adequate storage. The rent is more than you are currently paying but it seems reasonable for the space. I'm glad we are all joining you on your journey.

You'd be daft not to take this one, even if you kept looking afterwards for a MORE perfect one. As long as the neighbourhood is nice and safe, I personally think this is an absolute brilliant apartment for the price they're asking!
Obviously this is your quest though and you must do what you feel is right.... But I would happily live in that one. 😁👍

SOLD! This one by far is the absolute best out of all that you’ve showed us not only is the space enormous by micro Apartment standards, but the layout is just amazing. I know you’re afraid of heights, but that loft area is perfect. I would put a futon up there and then the rest of the space I would use for my clothing storage Could probably even fit a nice comfy chair in the living room area. If you move the desk area over by the window which we give you nice sunlight for working the wall actually reminds me of the Raspberry Beret video by Prince. I’m not sure if you’re familiar with that singing artist, but he’s amazing and he’s my favorite so of course I’d be sold right away as soon as I walked in the door.😂

Loft is high enough that you can stand up in it....the skywall is nice...you actually have enough space for more than your desk and chair...maybe a soft comfy chair or lounger might fit too... price isnt bad but you need conveniences as well... this is a keeper i think..
i really dont like stairs, but i must say, making an L shaped loft makes use of space wisely. i like that it has a dedicated space for the fridge and washing machine. also the big window. thank you for your hard work, Usui-san. looking forward to more videos
I haven't commented on any of the other apartments you've viewed, but I really like this one 🙂 lots of ways you can adapt for your own use, adding shelves etc, but already lots of storage (apart from a specific toilet paper area 😄) lol .. the only downside is the small shower cubicle, but it's still enough space really, and you could swap out the shower head for a larger one maybe ? I even don't mind the sky and clouds, it's fun ! 😊 .. and the rent is less than I expected .. I miss the little information parts of the video where you show what amenities are nearby, but overall I'd say this micro apartment is a winner !

I like the large loft space - I do feel though that the outlet and switch up there should be in the wider end of the loft because that's probably where you will place the futon. Other than that there's not much to complain about in this apartment (besides no toilet storage lol). I was stunned by the price 🤯
The loft was so nice in this one. You can actually stand up in it. Although, unfortunately, the letter always takes up some extra space. But it's manageable. The beautiful wallpaper really makes it feel sunny and bright. there is enough space in the apartment to walk around and stretch your legs. This micro apartment will not leave you feeling depressed
I loved the toy story collection 😍. The apartment seems quite comfortable in comparison with previous apartments 😂 but the bed problem made me sad 😔
Great price! The sky wall paper makes me smile. You could always get an expanding rod to load toilet paper on to and suspend above the toilet. It just uses pressure to hold it in place, so no harm to walls. I like this one!

This one is quite nice! Not sure if you think the area is a good fit for you, but the rent seems pretty decent (certainly much better than some of the other apartments you’ve shown us).
You could put some shelving in above the washer for a pantry, and to store washing detergent.
Why is it so many of these places don’t put in shelves for toilet paper? 🤨
You could even put your bed in the living room if you don’t want to sleep up in the loft. There seems to be plenty of room for it.
Even with the loft, this is one of the best we’ve seen. 🙂
This is my favorite except the small building in the parking lot. It has a regular and reasonable layout. I would put the bed (maybe a convertible sofa bed) and a small table (I like writing) in the living room. Even me and my bf I don't feel it rammed. I will use the loft as storage (eg. toilet paper hahahaha). And I can't help imagining I throw the necessity items that we need from the loft and my bf catches them on the ground. A heartwarming scenario! To sum up, it's a nice and warm nest for the new graduates or young lovebirds!
Heavenly wallpaper in this apartment. Well, it won't fit much, but there would be room for a cabinet, a table, a chair, a mini fridge and a mattress to sleep on top.
Well the only inconvenient is the wall, but I like the distribution of the appartment, maybe the Loft on the top and the lader, but I like it😊😊😊😊 ahhh is the perfect space for the new boys of the family, love it!😅😅😅😅

I know you're afraid of heights, so I don't know if you'd feel comfortable. But it's great that the apartment actually offers sections for an office, a bedroom and a living room with a little dining table.
This is a good one! Shoe storage, a place for a fridge, a place for a washer, kitchen storage, open hanging clothes storage, laundry hanging area, and a loft you might be able to work with even with your fear of heights. If you set up the bedroom upstairs it’d free up the downstairs to set up as an eating nook and a living room space. And it’s very reasonable.

Usui, I really like this one! Are you allowed to install shelves in a micro apartment? If you are then I would take this one. The shoe holder can be storage, you can fit shelves above the washing machine, and toilet, and the loft space has lots of room. Very good price as well. The only bad points are the ladders and the sky wallpaper (who even thinks of that?!) Also....you have to be good at fixing shelves, haha! :)

That's not a bad apartment, although I would probably use a cabin bed downstairs with the desk underneath. The loft isn't as scary as some you have seen, but maybe keep it for storage or a chill-out movie zone for the evenings. The toilet and shower would not really work for me sadly as I am a little bigger than is safe. I would fit, but not comfortably!

I think this is one of the nicest ones you've shown. The sky blue wall can be overlooked for the space and price, I think. It's whimsical.

That loft space is very roomy and has a tall ceiling, this is a real deal for 53,000 yen! I like this one and has everything in one place. If dislike cloud walls, can cover them with a removable wall. I think cloud walls represent a positive life. Great storages.

aside from the odd blue sky wall, I think this is one of the best ones you've come across especially for the price. the loft has a lot of headroom which is great.

This is actually a good livable apartment. The moment you first open the door the words "breathable and spacious" come to mind. It must be because of the high ceiling. Though not fully furnished as episode 20 I feel like you can still put all of your essentials and you would still have more space left. The sky wall also gives it a nice touch of color and makes the apartment more lively.
Downside of course is the loft space knowing your preferences and the view outside is... 😅

l like this one. Even as an elderly person who can't easily, or safely, get up & down the ladder, I still feel like I could make good use of this space. I like that I can have a full size fridge & there are places to put extra storage & a roll-about table to use to help cook, or maybe put a microwave on. I would get a couch that turns into a bed. All-in-all, I like this one. I also LOVE your new Toy Story figures! I must find some of these for my grandson. So cute!!! 💖💖💖
Love the sky wall. I would use the loft for storage using bins for clothes etc. Then, I would get a couch/futon and you could sit and sleep on it. Your desk could be in front.

This room is quite nice. And I like the blue sky 😆 I prefer my room to be colorful. And I like to use color Led to create ambience 😊

I think this is the best one! With all the loft space you could have a coffee table/desk where you sit on the floor with a cushion for working (or gaming for me lol). Or you could have a bunch of storage there. That leaves the downstairs to have an actual living/dining area even though its still small. I could actually image having a friend over here whereas other micro apartments it feels like you couldn't ever use the space outside of sleeping.
Just the loft alone, this space would be awesome. Keep it a bit minimalistic in the main area, and decorate the loft area. if its standing room like pictured, you could even install a reading nook. The shower is on the smaller size, but that loft makes it worth it. As for the paper toilet storage... there are command hook products that are shelves. They would stick to the wall and can come down when you are done using them. And as the toilet paper wouldn't hold a lot of wait, it would be very durable.
I like Spider-Man’s new friends! ❤ The apartment seems more spacious, but I don’t care for the cloud wallpaper nor the loft. I just can’t see it being safe having to go up and down a ladder during the night. Good luck on your search!

This is the first one I’ve commented on because it’s the best by far. If you can get past your fear of heights, this is an excellent choice. The few negatives are easily fixable such as shelving over the washing machine and in the toilet room if allowed.

I quite like this one, a nice roomy loft and some flexibility with the living area. There is actually room to store clothes and cook food.

Love your music, your humor, and your friendship with Spidey (and friends). You must know about the renaissance of tiny homes, where sleeping lofts are commonplace. (Particularly lofts which force you to bend down.) if only you could overcome your fear of heights … you would have endless possibilities. But then again, if you were to find the perfect micro apt, what would be the sequel?!
echoing the other comments: i like this one! i could live here, and the price seems extremely reasonable compared to the others you've shown before. of course, you're the one apartment-hunting and we're only viewers, but this is one of the most livable spaces so far.
the window ledge could double as a small dining table. you could put the work desk under the aircon; and depending on the configuration, you could also put a small tv beside your laptop. also, this space could accommodate a 2-seater sofabed for a guest to sleep/sit on. and if your refrigerator is tall, you can buy/diy a small rolling table as additional counter space or dining area for the awkward area under the ladder. because the loft is tall and L-shaped, you could sleep on one area make the other a storage.

Mira que justo cuando mostraste el zapatero, al verlo tan alto y estrecho, pensé 'Pero es hombre, no puede tener más de dos o tres pares de zapatos', pero claro, luego lo comentas tú, pero olvidas un detalle: ¿y si el mini departamento es alquilado por una mujer? ¿Crees que solo tenemos dos pares de zapatos? Na, na, na… dos docenas, eso si lo acepto, pero ¿sólo dos zapatos? ¡Jamás!
Este mini departamento me encanta. Y mucho. Obviamente el problema para ti es la escalera, pero salvo ello, la distribución y tamaño del loft me parecen correctas. La disposición en general me parece ideales. La distribución de los muebles que publicaste me parecen correctas, incluyendo el futón.
Y el alquiler me parece aceptable, considerando que hubieron otros departamentos que eran el doble y hasta un poco más.
😊 I like this one, but you don’t like lofts, so I imagine you could always do a raised bed downstairs. You could even have a nice comfy chair.

I like the space distribution here and theres enough space even if not using the loft area .im not a fan of loft areas but i like theres enough high to walk in there.

A small fridge and install shelves above it with baskets for food storage, a nice chair to relax in would also fit downstairs. Then a sideboard/cupboard to hold other items in that living space. Plus that extra storage space in the loft! This is one of the best so far for sure!
Usui-San! I think this is the best one yet! It’s bright and cheery, and the loft space isn’t as scary to me because you can’t roll out of the space. The price seems reasonable, too, and it doesn’t look as cramped. I think this may be the one!

I love this one! You could set up a cozy futon in the loft and use the smaller part of the loft for storage.
I would have a simple metal framed daybed (bed during the night, seating during the day) and underneath for storage. Use a fold away table during the day as a desk/table. Microwave can go on top of the fridge. A section of the loft could be used to store off season items and part could be used as a "guest room" or just an extra area, for hobbies or something. I'd like to put storage over the washing machine and over the toilet. I wish the shower wasn't so small, but it's not a deal breaker. The design makes the apartment feel bigger and inviting.
My first thought upon seeing the sky wallpaper was that it reminded me of the atrium at Paisley Park, which is painted the same way. This place is cute, and the loft has a surprising amount of space in such a small unit.

Hello Usuisan, I like this apartment it has breathing room. It seems well laid out and the appliances can be tucked into their own cubby hole areas. The wall beams in the upper level give it a more secure feeling which may help with your acrophobia. There's also room for Spidey's new friends on the upper level shelf where the air conditioner is (Ha ha).
This is the best one yet, storage for many shoes, clothes and a shelf for bags and things, space for a fridge, room for a desk, you can have plants on the window, futon and space for small storage too like maybe stacking boxes in the loft area
Wow! That is a nice layout and much less expensive than most others! I like that the laundry is tucked away in the corner, and the loft is nice! You need a tall fridge and extension cord with the outlet up so high 😂. I noticed you didn’t say that your search for an ideal micro apartment will continue… sooo did you find it in the sky?! To infinity and beyond! 😂
I didn’t like this one when I saw your preview, but it is much better when seeing the details. My only concern is that the top of the ladder doesn’t have hand rails or grab bars on the wall so it is quite spooky for entry and exit. But at least the ladder doesn’t block the shower or toilet rooms. Much more space than you might need otherwise. I like it.

I ❤ this apt for you IF you weren't afraid of heights. It should not be a big strain to get a bed/mattress up and into the loft (no headboard/footboard). Add a nice reading/relaxing area on the other side with a mini fridge and you're set! Downstairs I'd have the office and YES, another reading/relaxing area. Keeping it Simple
Lo ame todo en su lugar incluso la escalera no estorba.
La entrada es pequeña y esta bien, en el espacio para zapatos puedes poner otras cosas, el perchero es una idea excelente para tu traje o chamarras, incluso mochilas o bolsas y si no tienes eso puede ser abajo un espacio ideal para la basura, se que en japon separan la basura y la recogen en dias diferentes.
La cocina tiene el espacio para el refrigerador y arriba puedes poner un horno, tiene el espacio para la lavadora y lo mejor es que abajo tiene espacio de almacenamiento lo que es perfecto.
La pared es hermosa le da un toque bonito, el espacio es grande y puedes arreglarlo como quieras y tienes espacio para hacer ejercicio, incluso una mesa para comer puedes poner.
El baño la regadera es pequeña pero funciona, el unico problema es el baño si puedes poner repisas seria lo ideal.
El Loft es muy grande me sorprendió, puedes dormir en cualquiera de las dos areas y tienes mucho espacio para guardar lo que quieras.
La renta es igual a departamentos mas pequeños, si puedes manejar la altura es una opción, tiene mucho espacio.

I like this apartment, there's definitely more space than you think. I agree with your layout for the bottom. Would put the futon on the top, and the other side could be a storage place/reading area.
This one isn't bad at all. In addition to the Japanese bed corner, I can imagine a cosy reading corner with a Body Fit Bead Sofa on the other side of the loft ❤
I like this! It’s the most spacious of the ones you’ve visited. The loft space is the least claustrophobic (relatively high ceiling) and there’s ample storage. The shower room is small but there’s a shelf for toiletries. There’s also space for a fridge and washer/dryer. If I were to move in, yes, I’d use a futon also. I’d also put a shelf or chest of drawers - assembled in the loft - for clothes storage. A small fridge would probably be sufficient for me and since the electric outlets is high up in the wall, I might put the fridge in top of a cabinet that I’ll use as a food pantry. It’s easy enough to install a small shelf in the bathroom for TP storage. And the rest is also quite affordable. I don’t know how convenient the location is for you, but this flat is very livable.

Hi Usui, I think this apartment is very spacious, except for the bathroom. The loft space could be a good storage area, but not for sleeping. 😅 and the clouds on the wall, no comments,😅🙈 but it is cheaper than some others. I rewatched some apartments you showed and what I liked most was Ep.10 and 13 good place, well ventilated, close to some places and transport, the bathroom has glass, but it's something very simple to solve just putting a film protection and block the view of the bathroom.

Floor and loft layout in this one is good. There is room for a rolling support table for cooking. You can have a bigger desk. The second side of the loft can be a cozy gaming/book area.
Hi from the UK 🇬🇧 Usui 👋 I don’t normally comment in your videos but I felt the need to today, this apartment is almost perfect, plenty of space, open and airy and the loft isn’t claustrophobic like some of the others due to the higher ceiling. Was really shocked by the price, was expecting it to be expensive but its really reasonable - hope you find your perfect space soon…

This is the best one so far. It's got room for everything plus extra space in the loft for some storage crates. I like the deep windowsill. Great place to put some small plants. The rent is really low compared to the other apartments.
I know, due to your issue with heights, this place is not ideal. I love it. The loft is perfect place for sleeping and I could even have a couch in the main area or that chair that folds out into a bed. So much storage area too. Sounds like it's far out, but I'd take it.

This is an apartment I could see myself using. Work desk downstairs. Just throw a single person mattress (or two) up the ladder and wrap it with a sheet cover and throw a mink blanket or two on with a few pillows and you're done. Alarm clock/phone charger in the loft outlet. Toss out that weird heating panel for a microwave and stack a dryer on top of the washer, put a dresser somewhere(?) and you're gold. I wonder why Japan sells so many neat things if you have no place to put any of it.

Oh! Este me gusta mucho. Yo pondría una cama plegable en la parte baja y la parte de arriba para trabajar y guardar tus cosas.
Ahora que la familia tiene más miembros hace falta más espacio... Hay una repisa estupenda para poner a los amigos de Spiderman y algunas plantas cerca del aire acondicionado. ¡ Además cabe un refrigerador grande!

I think the price is very good for how much space you get for appliances and furniture! The ladder is a little awkward in the middle of the living room and almost blocking the shower room though … but yes, it seems most loft spaces can only fit a futon than a full size bed 🛌 😴
So Cheap !!!!! and so much room for activities.....a little small on the bath room side but that place you could have friends over!! maybe even a cat to share the space!!lol
It's my favorite apartment, even with the skywall... And the loft, which I'm not huge fan... But this one is spacious! And the rent reasonable, in my opinion, comparing to other ones so far!
