It feels refreshing to live there. The wood and plants make the apartment feel warm and cozy. The dining table attached to the kitchen island is a good idea 👍🏼

Really nice apartment and very well laid out. You asked if your rent was reasonable? I'd say so. I live in the Atlanta market and I've seen efficiency apartments smaller than yours going for over $2k/month so ... well done! So, for an apartment in Tokyo, I think you've done really well.

I know, right?! And no shared with walls with any neighbors. The windows really open up the space. On cooler days/nights we open up the sliding doors and it creates a nice breeze. Thank you so much for watching! I really appreciate you. 🤗🥰
Yeeees! First time I see someone actually having soap placed at their toilet-sink :D I was asking myself alllll the time why there is only water and no one uses soap :O ....

This is amazing. I’ve been thinking about moving to Tokyo, and a layout like this makes even the small apartments work super well. Love it. How many Square Meters is it?
Do it! The sooner you move, the longer you'll be here. The layout is incredible. One of the best we saw during our search. Especially the windows on 3 sides makes it feel much bigger. I'd say it's probably right around 39m2.
I just want to live there for 3-4 years or maybe forever if I really love it there but can’t do that without money lol nice apartment though
Very true - you need a little bit of cash. But most of your expenses will be from the flight. I've seen studio apartments as low as $180/mo. If you make a lot of your own meals, ride your bike and take the trains, you could live very affordably. Thank you for watching! I really appreciate it. 🥰

For one person it looks great, but two might be a little tight. But I’d be willing to try. 👍
It's absolutely perfect for one person. My wife and I both stay in this one together, and it works out pretty well. But definitely a bit cramped, at times. Especially when we're getting ready to head out for the day and we both need to brush our teeth, or get our clothes out, et cetera. It's worth the try! Thanks for stopping by to watch! Thank you much! 🤗 Seriously? 2nd-hand shops, especially your local ward resale centers. But, don't forget Mercari, which is quite popular here. The bed is actually just 4 storage boxes. The bed sits on top with a system from IKEA.

Where is the clothing closet and the storage closet/s?
The only closet in the apartment is the door at the foot of the bed. Clothes are also stored in the baskets under the bed. 🙂 Thank you for stopping by to watch! 🤗

Its a very nice Apartment but i always wonder what kind of income u guys have to afford a 1500 rent a month alone :D My salary is like 2200 a month which is average in my country.

@@brucster99b2 😂🤣 Honestly, it's not a bad idea. I do a lot of live TikTok tours walking throughout Tokyo. In those tours, I often walk past real estate offices where they post available apartments with the asking price. We've seen so many apartments sub-$300/mo. You could very well live in one studio, and rent out the one next door for your records and player!

You probably wouldn’t believe me if I told you . . . Craigslist. No kidding. Nobody uses Craigslist in Tokyo, so this apartment was just sitting there waiting to be leased. 😮

@@TheAliceCafe 😂 Craigslist! There were only like 6 apartments posted and this was one of them. So wouldn't be my recommended source of apartments. Honestly, in my experience, scamming isn't really a thing throughout Japan, so I never worry about being hustled. In other countries? Absolutely! But not in Japan.

@@Lee54. Gotcha. Yeah, this one is certainly a bit more expensive than many 1-bed apartments in Tokyo. We saw some nice studios at $400/mo, and even a few near Koenji that were $180/mo!
