It’s so refreshing to see a small craft room that is a reality for most people, or can be a reality for most people. You see these crafters on TH-cam and they spend so much money! Their crafting spaces are beautiful with their perfect cabinetry and all of their product, but I would have to take out a second mortgage on my home to have a craft room like theirs. That’s just not a reality for the majority of us. I love your room because it’s a perfect crafting space for a normal person. It reflects something obtainable and pretty and perfect for most of us. I absolutely love your creativity space! It’s beautiful! 😍 I thank you so much for this video. For real thank you. 🥰Happy crafting!
@@facemadelife I feel exactly the same way. Your space is so beautiful and I now have hope that I can make mine more functional and still pretty. Thank you so much!
Several years ago I moved my craft room from a small bedroom to a larger one. Last month I just moved it back. I realized I missed the two south facing windows and the cozy vibe of the little room so I was willing to get rid of some stuff. It took me two weeks to make the switch but I also painted both rooms.
love how you show the process of "hmm no that's not the right spot for this - try here instead" instead of skipping to the "perfect" placement right away
Oh my gosh, the box for the cat. I have one cat but three boxes like that. One in the dinning room in front of the patio door, one in my bedroom, one in the spare room where I craft. 😂😂. You can take a bar of soap and rub the rails for your drawers to slide better. That trick works great for zippers too!
It's great. I laid my kallax on it's side, and raised it on legs and it's a great standing height for me. I put drawers in and it's my mini craft corner in the study. I love it.
Loved your video. I have been working on my craft space too. It seems to me I am changing it around more than I craft. But it makes me feel good. A nice tidy space, every thing labeled, easy access. A person can’t really decide until you have worked with it for a bit. I have a small space too, but it works for me. Congrats on a great space. Well done. Hugs from Alberta,🇨🇦🥰🥰
I'll be moving to a new house soon and I'm getting a pretty small space, but bigger than the tiny corner I have now in my bedroom. I am loving this video for inspiration thank you for sharing!
Thanks for this video. Realitity is so much better! I too have the Kalax unit but a bit bigger. I absolutely love it. Like you, I like having everything at my arms reach. Your organization of some items was very helpful. Thank you for a real video! One thing I thought...I am not sure if it would be supported enough, but perhaps you could put the piece with two drawers under the KALAX.
Thank you so much for your comment. I did think about putting the drawers under the kallax, but I felt there would just be too much weight. It’s on my other desk top, under the window now and it works there.
I love your craft room. You have everything you need and beautifuly organized. The only thing I would add is some greenery, fake or real. You have some great ideas. Thanks.
Thank you! I have been trying to figure out a way to incorporate crafting videos here, but so far they don’t really fit. Hopefully I can come up with some plan.
Your crafting area looks wonderful! You have given me so many ideas! I’m going to rethink my space and hopefully use a lot of your ideas. My dream is to be able to do more crafting once my supplies are more accessible. Thank you so much!
Love the way you oganised, it looks a lot more spacious. You given me so much inspiration,I'm redecorating and organising my craft room in march, so I'm looking for loads of inspiration, plus I've lost my mojo a little so, like you said reorganizing probably will give me my mojo back. Love the paper trimmer organiser, I have loads of embossing boards , so I'm going to try that as I think it will be perfect. I have only just discovered your channel. Thank you so much for sharing your amazing talents xx
Just found your channel - I like sharing organizing things! A friend turned me onto 2 things: "Pantry cabinets" make great craft organizer and second is a online store called "Best Craft Organizer" they have great inserts for your cubicles (cheap but well made)! Hobby Lobby and Micheals have binders with large pockets that can hold 4x6 stamps also look on "paper wishes" for other containers. Happy organizing! I find organizing stimulates the brain cells!
Love your craft room. Just went on to your instagram, I’m interested in watching videos of you crafting. You inspired me to go organize my area now lol. Appreciate you sharing
I enjoyed watching you rearrange & reorganize your craft room. I am in the middle of decluttering and reorganizing my craft room too on my channel. 💜🦋💜🦋💜🦋💜🦋💜
Thank you just found your channel and love the organisation of your space. The adhesive under desk drawers are genius! I just redid my craft room space and I’m missing desk drawers now, so that’s great to have these! I’m going to try and source some in the UK

There was on item you didn’t put on your list of thing that you have was that white shelf with 2 doors for some type of storage the one that was on your desk before you put your kallex storage. And now you put on the other side of the wall please where did you get it can share thank you 😊
Inspiration to reorganize my craft space! What Selphy do you have? I recently bought a used one but it has the wrong size paper for the tray. Need to find supplies. Any suggestion!
I just “found you” and loved the way you presented your organizational ideas! I’ve subscribed and rang the bell so I can watch future videos. I need to find organizational peace!💙💛🪴
Question: where did you get the divider & trays with the clear knobs that holds your projects in process. It shows 4 shelves with 5 clear arcyclic drawers?
2:01 and here is the most helpful part of it all, a husband to help you. I like what you had on your desk from the start of the video, are those pieces from ikea? And is it several pieces? I think I just need to go to ikea lol 13:4913:52 here’s the answer lol
Where did you purchase the acrylic trays that you put in your IKEA divider? That’s exactly what I have been looking for! Found the acrylic knobs but need the trays/drawers. Thanks for the video, love your organization!
I’m off to Target tomorrow, fingers crossed, hoping to come home with them! My IKEA is out of the divider unit but will see if my son’s in Denver has them. Thanks again, love your process!
Hi! I added the link to my description! I had bought two and one of them kept falling off for some reason, but the other one is still up with no issues and I love it!
Priority 1 items are most used and should be at hand reach. Priority 2 second most often used, may have to stretch or lean to grab. Priority 3 get up and move 😅
Yes, this is a good rule of thumb! Some of my less used stuff has to be lower just based on size and the storage pieces I’m using, but everything here is mostly within arms reach.
This looks awesome! Love seeing video of smaller spaces ❤️ where did you get the small white cube organizer that sits on top of the Kallax? It’s just what I’ve been looking for.

..and they have sooo much stuff and projects .it so overwhelming to look at , then I would spend most of the time deciding what to do!!!!!
I have come to realize that I enjoy sourcing & collecting supplies. Then continual cycle of sporting, arranging, organizing , rinse & repeat.

That’s great! I love having a small cozy space. Sometimes I wish I had a bit more surface area, but as of now I have all the space I need.
Looks great! Keep an eye on your colored card stock. Mine started getting sun bleached on the edges, so I had to move it to an enclosed place. ❤️😊
Thanks for the tip! I rarely use full sheets, but I will keep that in mind!
Using that cookie sheet organizer for your trimmers is so smart! I’m totally stealing that idea. Thanks for an inspiring video!
