I love your space even more now. You are inspiring me to clean mine up and give it more of a style. It’s a hot mess right now. I love what you’ve done Alli! 🥰🤗

NEW SUB HERE! 👍I'm 69 YY and I am blown away by her talents. It's so refreshing to see young people doing constructive things! ✨ I rent and I have a wonderful landlord who lets me do anything I want as long as I do not deconstruct...and at 69, I'm not planning on doing anything like that. 🤩

I love my adjustable desk. My hubby found it at Costco and because I have a bad back that frequently changes what it wants me to do, it’s the best tool in my craft space.
    Your room is looking great!

    Hi Alli,
When you made your bookcases and put up the paneling I was just finishing my comment to you which ended up becoming a novel (one of my habits) and I had to run to the bathroom quick. Then when I came back, my comment had flown away but the video was still there frozen. It was getting late and I'm on a new schedule at work starting work now at 7am so I went to bed. You had asked us what we thought of your bookcases and your paneling and basically tooooooo much to say how AWESOME it was/is on so many different levels.
Before I had moved in with my Mom in 2019 I had been renting what was known as the largest one bedroom complex in Northern VA. I rented there for 20 years and when I moved in my rent was $625 all utilities included. When I moved out the rent was over $2000 and was paying utilities but it was spacious and bright and I used all my power tools on my deck. The metal louver closet doors in the living room were horrible so I took them off the track, stored them under my bed and I made beautiful curtains to hide the closet. The closet was deep so I had my desk and computer and printer in there and my Dad made a plywood divider for me and the coats were on the other side. I also had 2 rows of shelves higher up. Now I am in a 610 square ft registered historic building and we are not even allowed to use nails. Over my sewing machine I have wanted to put an inspiration board but it needs to be light with tons of command strips and I never even thought of foam board. I am so excited to see how you covered your's. I made my own bathroom valance and curtains and drapes are not allowed to be seen from the outside unless you pull your blinds down. I made my valance out of a shower curtain and hung it up with large command strips hooks I bought from Amazon and I made the valance rod out of a thin dowel and 2 medium size wooden balls wood glued to the end and spray painted it silver. The valance is black and white buffalo check to match the 1940 vintage black and white tile floor. I so have been wanting a craft table but no room for it so I will be using my Mom's harvest table that basically is in my living room. My rent is reasonable and I want to save $20,000 more and my goal is to buy a small home by the end of next summer. The first type of townhouses ever built in this area are not far away. Only 2 bedrooms but they are nice with patios out back, fenced in yard. I have wanted to plant veggies and flowers my mom had at her house. I did dig up her mint and have it growing in the kitchen. The mint goes back to my great grandmother's Victory Garden when Teddy Roosevelt was president. I wanted to buy my mom's house but was not given the opportunity to do so. The house was paid off and I had done a lot in her back yard that she loved. My mom had a covered porch and when she napped on the day bed I had my hot glue guns going along with the coffee pot and I made lots of crafts out there the 2 years she was sick. Having a bad leg but for some crafts I prefer to stand (the dining room is low) maybe after I configure the furniture and take some repacked boxes to storage I could get one of your Flexspot tables. I have never heard of them it would be such an asset. I have 3 very tiny closets here so storage ideas are really needed here. When I moved here in March the first thing I bought was a clear shoe bag and have it on the back of my bedroom door with my level, markers, pencils, washi tape, real starfish and shells from Sanibel and other supplies.
Your rugin your craft room isy cup of tea. I love gray plaid and it can go with all decor.
    Love,
    Rebekah

I'm too messy of a crafter to have such nice things especially on the floor😅 Your craft room is beautiful! You have such a classy taste😊 I am so happy that you now have this space to create comfortably.
