There are lots of bread based dishes with some kind of topping in the world. India, China, Turkey, the Middle East, Africa. Or you would make the bread base and then “mop” up the sauce out of a bowl. Putting them together like that is a fun way to serve it. Thanks for the lesson!
Honestly it validated my instincts. That chili crunch & ground pork is all crumbly, you need the extra creme fraiche to stop it all falling off the slice.

This is the only way I like to cook and I've been watching cooking shows and Iron Chef America since junior high. Following a recipe is a great guildlike but I always find my self taking a different path and making it my own. Seeing what I can create with the items I have is very enjoyable.

To break the rules and boundaries, I think one must have mastered the rules and know the limits of boundaries first. Dave can do that. He actually knows the limits and rules.
