Great watching as usual, just learn to hold your breath for a really really long time and you’ll be right with the dust or wear dark glasses so you can’t see it….way to go
The good news is that the particles you can see are to big to harm your lungs, the bad news is that where there are large particles there are probably micro particles and those can close the lid on the wood box for you. Good news is that if it behaves similar to asbestosis then it will take twenty or thirty years to knock you down, bad news is that it is a really miserable way to climb into the wood box!!
I've been wondering if that thickness of decking will hold my 300 lbs...looks like it will. I've also been wondering if filling in areas of that decking with resin for anchoring bolts and screws would be more reliable if the inside of the hole was coved out or maybe holes drilled horizontally so the set-up resin would be physically locked in place as well as chemically. I'm still wondering. I might figure it out after your next season of using your trap-hoist.
I am finishing up my first crab season with the new deck. It is insane strong. I have dropped a bunch of concrete traps on the deck and torqued the hauler to its max over and over. Zero stress cracks, zero issues. This thing turned out insanely strong!! The Kaycel board is amazing! I am super glad I did the solid glass on the lag bolt areas. Never gonna have to worry about it again.
