2:51. That template looks off a lot . Look at the port and starboard upper gunnel gaps distance…. Left side above template and right side template don’t match up??? Is it just me ?
Thats pretty dramatic. The should have taken the boat back maybe but no one knows the real story. Parker has made tens of thousands of boats and they are nice production boats.
I also just viewed the "Out On The Reef" youtube video and agree with the comments that Parker Boats have not made good on it's product. The quality control failed and allowed and factory defective boat out on the market. The discrepancy seen on the cabin door should have been an indication something was wrong and should have been addressed. I was always of the opinion that Parker Boats had better quality standard but I guess not. Very Disappointing !
Hi Jack, Parkers have a lifetime no rot warranty! if you talk to smart boat builders they will tell you wood builds an exceptional boat. History shows us that Parker encapsulates the wood expertly and there are few rot issues with Parkers. The problem is with poor od other brands construction not with wood and not with well built Parkers. Wood rocks!
So I guess you wouldn't buy a Viking, Jarrett Bay, Cabo, Bertram, Maritimo, Spencer, Tiara, Riviera? Not into bigger boats? How about Boston Whaler, Grady, Sea Ray, Lund, Chaparral, Robalo, Tidewater, Crownline, Bayliner? www.inlandplywood.com/products/perma-panels/ Check out that link. This material is in almost every boat you can buy today in one part or another. Lifetime no rot warranty. Many of these guys say no wood stringers, but what about backing plates, decks, gunnels, etc. Anywhere you see a through bolt on a boat, you'll usually find encapsulated marine plywood. Just my couple cents!
If you’re still using a wooden stringers for your boat with the materials we have out today the boat is garbage to me once that seal is broken it becomes a tugboat like most old Boston whalers.
2:30 so much flex on the hull!
Nice to see a boat still being hand laid
Awww, Look those future crooked pilothouse so adorable.⤵⤵
Body mated with through bolts? More looked like SS screws?

BUYER AWARES BEFORE YOU BUY THIS BRAND BOAT, GOAND WATCH THE VIDEO OF "OUT ON THE REEF'' THINK TWICES
Yeah I watched his videos, so what. I bought a Parker anyway and it will get lots of love, defects, imperfections, design flaws, and all.

Nice boats but at 3min 30 sec thats not a through bolt its a phillips screw.
Hi Jr, good catch, they are through bolted along the whole hull/deck seam except for the very forward edge of the bow due to difficult access.

I'm calling I.C.E.
Lol
Is it me or is the MacGregor 26 built just like this for only 22K?
Why does parker use wood. I don't get it. its time to move on.
Because its cheap....
There's no problem with wood given it's sealed properly wood has some attributes fiberglass can't compete with....
Parkers are just the BMW's of boats. Change my mind.
Crap ,still using wood

Why your boats still use bad quality
Plywood
