Discovered my cording yesterday. It does go down to the incision. Today at the end of my gym routine used the assisted pullup for hanging and could feel the cord down my inner/upper arm as well. I was able to do 90 seconds broken into 15 second increments. Wow, it really does stretch them! Thank you!

I have consistent cording 9 months after surgery ~ I see a PT but insurance doesn’t want to give many visits.
Ive always been active so this is a real bummer for me

I hear you with the cording as I’m super active too. Treatment works well but there’s also a lot of headway that you can make with your own self-care. Consistency is key.

Same! BRCA 2 here. I did the hysterectomy in July and I’m 4 weeks post mastectomy with reconstruction (I had implants prior). Thank you for all of these videos. I’m feeling great, but I have quite a bit of cording in my armpits and down my ribs. 😅 I’ll be doing all the stretches and hanging.

@@Light_GKBRCA 1. Did get tested after a cancer diagnosis?

I had cording down my ribs too. Not the most comfortable thing to experience! I’m glad that BRCA previvors are connecting here.
