Ive started using lentils in soup lately and I find them lovely. And they're so filling and good for you. They are lovely with bacon and sour cream! Agree about green onions. They're a really nice topping!
I'm actually making a big batch of "pizzas" on rolls and wraps now for school lunches. The comments reminded me to try pizza bagels next time. Thanks for the idea!

Zoe, I know what you mean about the weather. We’ve had 95 degrees for a couple weeks now, and the kids went back to school the 16th of august! Too hot to let the dogs stay outside for more than 15 minutes, and the pavement is too hot to walk them on anyway. Grocery haul is great, love some of the ideas for meal plans… probably will borrow some. I did make the chicken fajita casserole yesterday, it was a HUGE hit! Everyone loved it! Thank you!!!
I hope that Agnes is feeling better. My son went away for our holiday and came back with the flu. Such scary times. I have heart disease and cirrhosis of the liver. It is stage 2-3. I am terminal. I don't know how much longer I have. I'm really feeling quite bad. I would love for some things to go down in price. I have been craving pork chops. We haven't been able to afford them in at least a year. God bless all of you.

You must be joking, Zoe!! "Nothing seems to have gone down in price." Here in the US things are still rising.....eating out is out of site for the ordinary person. Gas is pricy but not as bad as Europe I have been told. Grocery shopping about wipes out people's budgets especially if one has children.

I can’t change my current butter which is Lurpak everything else tastes awful, I even use the baking one for cakes etc it has become so expensive but all the others just taste awful! ❤

I saw the BISTO! what flovor was that? it is something I want to try, when I lived in Los Angeles we had a British Shop where I could get baked beans and dandelion pop, Ever since moving to Tennessee I have to buy online and the prices are beyond ridiculous!! Anyway thank you for showing yor haul, I would love to know the kind of price you pay for things though, I mean on a haul like that what do you spend? $300 a week?
