@6:33 "okay that was a little scary" I love it, PNW Enduro delivers once again!!! What a great ride. In every video - you ride in the perfect gear, perfect RPM, and have the perfect flow! One great show after great show. Just such excellent riding and also excellent coverage. I'm a KTM fanatic and have been for about 10 years but that Sherco sound and the way you ride that bike has me just dying for a new Sherco. Great content, amazing channel!!!
This is a 10/10 for scenery. Wow! This is WHY I took up off road riding. To be able to experience places like this is why I do it. Thanks for recording it and letting us in. Breath taking.
Agree, you can see places like this by other means but dirt bikes let you experience a lot more of it in less time. Experiences like this can't be beat.
'Stunning' doesn't even do this place justice. Double stunning. Thanks for another vicarious ride, Greg. Gotta continue working my way through your amazing vid catalog. Please keep posting more...
Thank you for taking me along. It was incredible! That's a place i would never have seen otherwise and it has enriched my life. And you have some serious riding skill.
Another great video thanks! We are back in lockdown in New Zealand so spend time cleaning the bike and watching TH-cam - you are blessed with such great country to ride in and by the looks of it, a lot of keen riders out maintaining the tracks. Keep up the videos as they are keeping us sane
I heard Australia was in lockdown but did not know NZ was as well. Yes we have some of the best trails in the world imo. I've had a few great trips over the last month so hopefully my footage can help keep you entertained!
I have seen similar views of the mountain range in Colorado from black bear pass, almost 13k' Imogene pass is just over 13k' and engineer pass I'm not sure of elevation but it's up there too, love me some Colorado jeep trails
@@PNWEnduro I’m not following why you wouldn’t include the location and trail name. Personally I would want to share and inspire others to explore the same places. Seems like a natural thing when someone makes and shares videos.
Lots of reasons. In fact I've been asked and explained this question so many times I made a video stating my reasons. th-cam.com/video/XWvkW6FyUcg/w-d-xo.html
All of your reasons are greedy imo I live so far from riding trails like this the one or two times I get out there in my life I would love to ride something like this but people like you withold information. If it's anything like here (Iowa) public trails require a registration to ride on that the clubs who maintain the facilities get.
@Michael Jonson First, it's nothing like Iowa. Second if you think respecting the requests of the people and clubs that build and maintain the trails is being greedy then I'm not sure what else I can say. I can't expect people to understand the pressure I get from people pleading that I do not make every location public but you can at least respect my reasons. In the time it took you to type your comment you could have asked me privately.
This has to be some of the most epic ride footage you have posted. Amazing-looking terrain and spectacular views. What elevation range did this right cover? Curious to see how a carbed bike would cover the elevation changes. Did your smart carb have any issues?
I think we started around 2500' and got up to 8500'. 92km's total and I did not even hit reserve. Bike ran the same at 8500' as it does at 1000' so the SC is doing it's job. We had one carb bike in the group and he was running out of gas and his pipe was spooge city. He didn't jet for elevation mind you. Glad you enjoyed the footage, this was truly one of the best experiences I've ever had.
Great footage as always. I'm curious as to why you never give a shoutout to the system and trail number you are on? Granted some of these over the years may not have been marked, but the system definitely has a name. I know personally I'd like know, can you tell us why all the secrecy?
I usually study and learn how you pick the route, when you open or close the throttle.. But this time I miss all that, the view/the scenery have it all…😅😅😅
Cool spot, looks very Northwesty. That one climb after the manicured section was pretty intense. I'm sure it was way steeper than it looked on the GoPro's. Where you at?
That's the beauty of recording with the GoPro, you can take still shots from the video footage afterwards. I did take a lot of pics of this area as well though.
I'm located in Washington State so our terrain looks exactly the same but I don't think we have THAT epic of trails here. What were those two jumps right before the last large climb? For MTB or Skiers? I noticed similar jumps at high elevation steep areas in one of your other videos too.
Looks like a mtn bike jump to me. There are a decent amount of lines like that built for a video edit up in the high terrain. Build a sick line, film it for some redbull edit or other, and then nature eventually takes it back because it's so remote it doesn't get much use.
Just wondering about those long steep descents. I've always had 4 strokes. Have a 2 stroke now, is it fine to ride it down long hills with the bike off? Does it starve any part of the bike? I barely used any throttle coming down 1000 meters elevation. Great video! Love seeing beautiful mountain trails like this.
Would be super cool if you could just post some general coordinates for the area. I mean all this stuff is going to be on OnX and other trail maps anyways. I get that you don’t wanna blow these places up, but I highly doubt these trails will get significantly more traffic from a few random coordinates dropped in the comment of your video. 47.78025, -124.07919
I have my reasons for not posting locations as you know, and I’m not going to change my mind on this. Sure, lots will be on maps and some, like this one are not. You probably don’t realize how much heat I’d get if I did make the locations public. Either way I’m pissing someone off. Sometimes you have to put in some work to find places like this. I spend a lot of time researching new places to ride.
@@PNWEnduro I get it. Love the riding and videos. Would just be cool to see something in-between posting the exact location and nothing at all, like even the name of the mountain range. I ride alone almost all the time and research the trails where I’m going a lot. I rely heavily on TH-cam to make sure I stay safe and don’t end up over my head. So personally, I’d get more value from your channel if I was able to at least get a rough idea of what the general area looks like so I can be more confident and safe in exploring.

Thanks for taking us on your rides, I just recently passed my motorcycle class and ran into your adventure riding videos. Great views!
Great riding! Awesome trails!
That was bad ass

WOW, always good to see you descending, showing the true scale of what you are riding.

Nice! Stoked that you made it to the very top ... amazing footage!
Wow!! Just wow!! I wish I could find stuff like this on the island.
stellar ..nuff said..wow
Fantastic!
The sherco with the different altitudes sounds (carburation) good.
Looks like a great zone to ride in!
You know it!
Epic! Looks like you're on top of the world up there!
Lucky for us you are brave enough and skilled enough to go to the tippy top ! Nice work 😎👍🏻
I couldn't get that close and not go to right to the top!
Amazing!!!!!!
Snow bike guys are salivating in the background 😜
4:15 Those views are epic 👌
Nice location dude
Thanks, it was pretty amazing.
Thanks for sharing (I know I'm a bit late to the party). This is an incredible trail/ride.
Thanks. Still one of my all time favorite sections of trail.
Awesome trail!
Sick ride! Getting to the top is the type of ride im aiming for here in bc 😉
Stunning views, well worth the effort! The other guys will have to practice up and hit it next time.
Amazing views! Nice video buddy
WOW! Just WOW!

Super cool content mate! Where is it, must be somewhere up Northwest Colorado, Oregon, Washington State…
Looks like home in bavaria - same latitude.
AWESOME!!!!
Wow, hard to beat a trail like that!
It really is!
Myself and the boys from Pittsburgh just did two weeks in July, Ouray and Crested Butte.
Great single tracks there also!!?
Epic!!! You can see across the world from up there.
Great footage. Could you start putting the name of the trail and state you’re in? Takes out the guessing and detective work.
How do you think I find places like this? Many hours of research.

AS a flatlander from Ontario that trail has a pucker factor of 9.9.
Coming back down the chute was a little scary.
Well at least I now have a good idea what it will look like if I ever die and make it to heaven..lol 🏞😍🌲🌲..beautiful trails thanks for sharing😎👍
Thanks for watching. Glad you enjoyed it.
I ride in kaw Oklahoma. Looks like that rocks more rocks. Try that on a 3wheeler. Makes me appreciate bikes suspension.
Epic!
Wow! Where is that?!
Did I miss what it's called or where it's located?
Or is it a secret ? :)
Awesome footage!
Where is it so I can add it to the bucket list?
Epic trail and views. Hope you're able to stay safe when doing this solo in future
You’re a very competent rider!
Great scenery! Is the bikes a Sherco 250 or 300?
Just put a deposit on a 300 !
Thank you. This is a 2021 300se factory, I'm loving this bike!
Wow man
Where is this? Looks insane!
Great area, bad place for a break down!
That must be somewhere in Canada cause I don't know where you can find those kind of views in USA.

I use a GoPro Hero 9 with the media mod microphone mounted with a ProShot chin mount.

Nice video, Greg. Looks like heaven to me. How do you like that Sherco compared to your 250xc (carbed) bike?
I'm loving the Sherco, suspension is great and the motor works great in the technical terrain I ride most often.
That hill took some elf like skill.
I usually study and learn how you pick the route, when you open or close the throttle.. But this time I miss all that, the view/the scenery have it all…😅😅😅
It was so beautiful up there.
Amazing views! Bike sounds really rich / blubbery down low - is the smart carb not handling the elevation well, or am I just hearing things?
You must be hearing things. Bike runs the same at 9000’ as is does at 1000’. Bottom end power is stronger than any tpi bike I’ve been on.
Yikes, I was getting the pucker factor just watching this. Was this in BC?
Cool spot, looks very Northwesty. That one climb after the manicured section was pretty intense. I'm sure it was way steeper than it looked on the GoPro's. Where you at?
Full commitment was needed to get up the chute, very steep indeed. I don't post locations publicly.
@@PNWEnduro Np, I'm just asking in general. Like is this BC?

Id have to stop and take pictures every 20ft haha

Looks like they were built by the mtb guys. There is a mtb specific trail that goes down a different route close to this one.
Where is this??
Duuuuuude I can only imagine how the "gopro effect" nerf'd that hill climb.
Yep, I've got a few still shots that show how steep it is.
What happens if you break down 15 miles deep on a trail like this, lol
What do you guys use to navigate around? Trail tech?
Also, what area of Colorado is this?
It’s BC…
1:51 and a little after was a little too sketchy lol. Don’t look down. The views were awesome though!
Is that a jump at 7:04??
And again at 7:14
Why would you turn the engine off before you went down a hill? You would have lost your power steering.
Go watch Jarvis or other pros race videos, they do the same thing.

No problems coasting downhill. The pros like Jarvis do it all the time when they are racing to let the bike cool down a bit and conserve fuel.
You ride solo? I’d rethink that brotha. All it takes is one minor incident.
He mentioned in the video he was with other riders.
