I am so glad you invited this friend here. He instantly can point out the parts why Stray Kids are so unique in the industry. First, each member has his unique distinguish vocal sound. Their tracks are multi genres and unique with their own way. Felix's attractive tone and how it fits and enhances the whole song. Their rapping and singing blends so well and make it great of a song. I wonder what he thinks about their dancing and producing skills. Please invite him again for more Stray Kids' reaction.
You did a very good job of letting your guest be the center of attention and let him formulate his own thoughts and opinions 👍 Many reaction TH-camrs have a guest and do the equivalent of staring at them expectantly going "oh this is coming up! oh you'll like this! Did you see this? What did you think of this Details! I love that part do you?" kind of negating the point of a new set of eyes as all you're doing is using social pressure to have someone agree with you and have someone to rant at. You avoided all of this and were a very considerate and respectful host, guiding your guest when asked and otherwise letting him fill the stage. Well done 😊😊
Thank you so much for the kind words! I definitely wanted Ryan to have the most ‘unclouded’ experience possible in much the same way I did when I first listened - I was confident I wouldn’t need to interject with any ‘positive spin’ because the music speaks for itself and deep down, I knew he would like it! Thanks again for the lovely comment and thank you for watching 🖤🖤
Please watch with Ryan the behind the scenes of the recording of Megaverse and Cover Me, but mostly Cover Me because of the amazing vocals. It is amazing to watch, then listen to the color coded finished version of Cover Me. It’s truly a masterpiece. Thank you.
I second this comment!!! PLEASE watch any of their live recordings! You gain such a sense of who they are as artists, but also how truly passionate they are about their craft.
Yes please!!! Megaverse and Cover Me. Would like to add God’s Menu, Back Door, Mix Tape:Time Out, Thunderous, Levanter, and LALALALA (Rock Version). All these together! 😊
Many of the shots in LALALALA were from movie sets; Pirates of the Caribbean, Mad Maxx Fury Road and the bank robbery Joker scene from The Dark Knight, to represent the emotions like anger and joy. The white set was not based on a movie but it does represent sorrow.
@@MCDofWCR , I saw on you 3RACHA video that people have been recommending one of their more current songs, compared to Zone but I don't think anyone mentioned that the song "3RACHA" by 3RACHA was done on a UK drill beat. It's amazing and Hey Day, while different, is also not to be missed. By now you know SKZ experiments with all types of music styles that they enjoy.
2:28 DISTRICT 9 was their official debut MV from 2018 back when they were a 9-member group but over time remained as 8-member group during the preparation of their Clè Levanter album comeback.
S-Class won them a VMA last year, it was so insane. Wondering if you might be attending BST HydePark this year. Stray Kids is one of the headliners! They are even more insane live!
@@MCDofWCRIf you can afford it, you wouldn’t regret it. You can check out many of the online concert recordings for a tiny spoiler if you are curious. The vibe and energy is amazing. And their personalities are so warm, fun and endearing as well. Despite their fame, they stay pretty humble.
there. is. never. boring time with stray kids. EVER. their music alwaysssss bring me thru unpredictable journey in the best way possible. i don’t know many artists do that nowadays.
I love that you're getting your friend involved in stray kids now too. You seem so excited to show him. I've said it before, but I genuinely really enjoy you guys going in depth when talking about what you just heard, please don't stop doing that. Also, the placement of Gengar behind your friend, just peeking out, is superb. 😂
Over the years we have always discussed music together to the point of boring everyone around us to tears! So I’ve been waiting all month to finally get him on to show him! He hasn’t stopped talking about Stray Kids since the stream finished ❤️❤️
@@MCDofWCRI actually find it very interesting to listen to, because you both are obviously quite knowledgeable when it comes to music. So it's nice to hear your perspective and your friend's perspective on things, because I myself don't really know much about music. I really appreciate the more technical side of the things you (and your friend) talk about.
I've been having an internal conversation about what songs I would play for a friend to get them into Stray Kids! Probably with what i started with 2 months ago! Megaverse, Maniac, & Venom would be my choices. I don't even think you've made it those yet! Can't wait! Really enjoyed this video and if your friend starts a reaction playlist, I'd watch!
I just wanted to say that I appreciate you guys' reaction so much. I'm an Asian person living in the UK, and it has been hard when I see UK based reaction channels, UK news and opinion articles completely dismiss anything that has to do with kpop without genuinely giving it a chance, and it just reminds me of a lot of racism I experience and witness here. For example, Stray Kids are headlining at the BST festival in Hyde Park this year, but there have been some articles about this festival where the author mentions every artist performing there, except Stray Kids, even though they're a headline. There was another recent article about a different kpop group called Seventeen that are performing at Glastonbury (they are also self-produced like Stray Kids but a very different vibe), and the author was incredibly dismissive of them while at the same time complimenting Coldplay and Dua Lipa, so it wasn't like this was someone who simply didn't like pop music. So I just wanted to tell you that I really like how you guys came to Stray Kids with such an open mind and listened objectively to their music and could see how much work goes into every one of their pieces. I don't expect everyone to like Stray Kids or kpop, but I think there has to be respect rather than immediate dismissal of the whole thing because it's from Asia, it's under the genre label of kpop, because the people look pretty and wear makeup, or because it's in a foreign language. So thank you. I've really been enjoying your Stray Kids deep dive series as a sound engineer myself and I look forward to see Ryan joining you in other reactions!
Thank you so much for the kind words and thoughtful comment - I’m sorry that’s been your experience with U.K. based commentators so far:( I one hundred percent stand by the fact I said that Kpop is far more innovative and exciting than anything the West is putting out into the mainstream right now. Dua Lipa is talented no doubt, but she has released the same sounding song about six times now! I am sure Stray Kids will absolutely win over the crowds when they headline BST at Hyde Park and the journalists will be forced to acknowledge them! Hang in there 🖤🖤
@@MCDofWCR For sure! In fairness, it took me some time myself to start listening to kpop, coming from a more heavy metal, post-rock type of background, but when I found Stray Kids the first time I was blown away by how different and creative they were! I'm looking forward to seeing them at BST, they're fantastic live! ☺ If you ever want to get into reacting to their live stuff, their performances on Kingdom: Legendary War were amazing, and I usually watch them from the video titled "MIROH부터 소리꾼(Thunderous)까지! ► Stray Kids(스트레이 키즈) with 2021 Mnet | Mnet과 함께하는 2021 MAMA 수상자 무대 모아보기" as they come without the other artists' reactions (but it's fine to watch the others if you're happy to see their reactions too and how complimentary other kpop artists are of Stray Kids!).
@@VicodinMD I’ll definitely check some of their live stuff out! I also come from a heavy metal background - it seems a lot of heavy metal fans seem to make their way to stray kids! 🖤
This was fun. Glad you started with their debut song. You gotta introduce him to some of SKZ's different music. Not just the hype ones. See what you both think of them. Chill Freeze Lonely St Easy Chronosaurus Blueprint Voices The View Awkward Silence TMT DLC FNF Question Insomnia Super Board Give Me Your TMI Ex M.I.A. TA Slump (I would suggest watching the First Take video. It's a live, one take session. You get to see them sing it clearly. And there are subtitles for it.) So many songs.....Oh. I can tell you the acronym titles. TMT = Too Much Thinking DLC = Dance Like Crazy FNF = Fauna N Flora MIA is kinda self explanatory.
We’ll definitely do some new reactions together! I was kind of limited by my selection because I’ve only listened to 7-8 tracks myself as I am also discovering them and filming my reactions but it would be super cool to react to some both for the first time! Thank you for the suggestions 🖤🖤
Stray kids is huge in the music industry. They are top producers. They are legendary group with the most diverse discography. You can watch their newest album 5star and Rock Star like hale of fram ,FNF, item, leave ,cover me, the sound, super bowl, Youtiful, blind spot, time out and obviously S-Class, lalalala etc . Soft song recommendation - never ending, winter fall,1149, spread my wings, 24 to25, OH, leventer, blue print, Ex, red light, hoodie season, for you , lonely st, silent cry, charmer, on track, time out, novel ,, there, your eyes blue print, star lost etc. Brilliant song - venom, freeze, grrr, mirror, miroh, maze of memories, chronosaurous, side effect ,top, slump, god's menu, thunderous, TA, cheese, muddy water, the sound, slump, top etc. Stray kids know for quality of music and dedication for music. They are very creative and unique and versatile. Stray kids is inspiring to so many people. Their music is something connected with people .They give motivation, inspiration to express yourself it's ok to be unique You are beautiful the way you are. stray kids discography is very diverse with life philosophy. I describe stray kids music is "EXPRESSION OF LIFE" EXPRESSION OF PEOPLE" "EXPRESSION OF EMOTIONS" Lyrics are beautifully expressed with so many meanings . They have a diverse discography. I love the intellect, cleverness and creativity in songs. They have a very organic, fresh and unique sound. They didn't limited themself and explore the new side of music. They explore different genres and express different emotions. They break many stereotypes in music. The more you listen to them the more you admire and become addicted to them and respect them more as artists. The music they made is connected with people with beautiful messages , inspiration and motivation . ❤❤❤
Thank you for the detailed and thoughtful comment - my favourite thing about them so far (and I have many favourite things about them) IS their boundless creativity. They are without limitations and I think for me personally, that is what makes them so exciting to watch 🖤
One of the best things about being a STAY, or even a baby STAY is spreading the word about SKZ. They're just so amazing, and I always love seeing new people just come to appreciate them as much as the rest of us do. Edit; am at the 28:53 part of the video and Ryan speaking of the harmonies and singing etc and he's right, but also wrong. For so much of the track/beats, it's actually vocal tones being manipulated into sounding like part of the track. More often than not, it's Bang Chan himself hitting the super highs and just remixing etc. There is a whole thing where people strip the songs down and you just time after time find out that it's Bang Chan deep in the mix, adding to those layers... for me at least, it's fascinating (especially knowing what a Humble King he is, even as their leader... he's just always there, adding something). Edit 2 - sorry, I get so excited and tend to comment before the video is done haha. 1. I can't wait for you, Ben, was it (?) to hear "Side Effects", but I think you both will love Double Knot, Venom and Hall of Fame. Lastly, I promise... I am 44. I don't really know Pokemon all that well, but what little I do know, Snorlax is my spirit animal haha. I know Bang Chan loved playing Pokemon Go and would often 'catch' things at various arenas... but that's all I have for that.
Thank you so much for the thoughtful comment! That is interesting and doesn’t surprise me about Bang Chan. My real name is Ben yes 😊 I will definitely check those out in a video at some point soon - I am very much looking forward to hearing some of these songs that keep getting mentioned 🖤
Thank you for reacting to these. Really enjoyed watching…the conversation between the two of you was unusually entertaining…would watch another happily.
Since your friend is a singer, how about you both discover some vocal songs together? I have a feeling he will appreciate Scars, Secret secret, Ex, Waiting for us or Gone away (last 2 are unit songs) Also I think he will love Backdoor and Charmer.
Loved this! Would love to see him back, but your reactions are always good! More SKZ, please, because "It's stray kids' world and we're just living in it"😅❤.
There's no one who can be compared to them, they are STRAY KIDS! They are their own genre, they write, produce & coreograph all their own music! Chan even picked his members himself! You definitely need to listen to more of their catalog
I have always thought God's Menu is a staple in Stray Kids Intro. But that's just me. 😅 Of all their albums, SKZ REPLAY is my top favorite. Coz we were blessed with all the members solo songs. Made me appreciate more their individuality. 😮💨😮💨😮💨 I love Stray Kids.
19:17 there is a youtuber, Carkpop, he is very good with music and many people trust him when it comes to analyzing the music. And he also loves stray kids rap very much, you will see he has many videos about them and he digs deep into detail of their raplines. I love his videos because you can see how much he notices their pure skill in rap. A similiar youtuber, you might have heard of, Teddy Grey also loves stray kids very much.
@@ritafleur2704 both of them for sure, I love to see It so much. And both of them are sure to let you know🤣 I think when people watch their videos they can fully start to appreciate changbins skill.
Stray Kids were became Popular by their talents. They have really catchy songs, have an insanely good dance line, produce their own songs (3RACHA), have a pretty good Fanbase and have amazing personalities. What makes them unique from other groups is that they write their own music and their style of songs changes once in a while. This makes Fans admire Skz even more. Some kpop groups are just there to do the singing and dancing, but Stray Kids is a really hardworking group that deserves their fans, not saying that other groups don’t, just saying that they really worked hard to get this far in their music careers🤚.
I like watching people's reactions to these songs I love, because it makes me fall in love with them again. I kind of get used to this music and seeing people be amazed at it makes me appeeciate it again. Thanks!
That's so awesome to share with your friend. I think you guys could do some softer songs like: 1. Levanter 2. Scars First Take (the mv was for their Japanese album but the First Take has lyrics and is just them singing) 3. Chronosaurs Some other hype ones is: 1. Double knot 2. victory song 3. Thunderous Are you going to their appearance at BST Hyde Park? They are headliners.
Potentially! I only live an hour from London so if I can afford to get a ticket it’s something I would definitely like to look into and I would be very interested to see them live 🖤🖤
Just subscribed, cant wait to see your Stray Kids journey, these guys are insanely talented. Be sure to check out their cover of I'll be your man, a performance on the Kingdom show. Its a masterpiece. The original is by BTOB and also Wolfgang
It's already great to have your reactions and your point of view on the Stray kids, but a second opinion is doubly nice. I can't wait to see your next videos, thank you very much 🤟SKZ
thanks for the new reaction! so nice that you introduced your friend to skz! I hope he will get into them as well :) my favourite pokemon is Mew2. for new reactions I recommend: "slump" of stray kids, it doesn't have a music video though, I recommend the live performance at "1 take" youtube channel (I have seen others reacting to it, so you shouldn't get blocked). I also recommend you to show your friend a group called EXO, they are an older group and more vocally oriented, although they have good rappers as well. for introduction I recommend songs "obsession", "call me baby" and "monster".
You def should checkout maze of memories and tortoise and the hare together because they pretty much all are rapping and y’all def need to check out 3racha by 3racha(Stray kids subunit which is the production line which consist of Chan, Han, and Changbin!)
Enjoyed both of your reactions. Glad to see you watched videos to the very end. Stray kids gives clues throughout or toward end of their videos at times. Stray Kids left a clue toward end of 'God’s Menu' Back Door in red above door. Back Door is the next video to watch after God's Menu. A clue left toward end 'MEGAVERS' Also clue left toward end 'FREEZE' M/V Stray Kids Short film movies are full with clues.
If you guys want to know what sclass and lalalala are about to help follow the stories a short way to get a grasp (as there are references for longer standing stays as well) check out Bookish theories for both songs with Ryan...while you're at it check out the MV makings or the recording process for 5star and Rock Star albums...they give a bit of insight from all angles. Intros to the albums on the Stray Kids channel are also great as it's the guys talking about all the songs on the album before they are released!

a lot of thought went into the LA4 MV in terms of scenes. there's inspiration from The Dark Knight, Pirates of the Caribbean, etc. the editing for their MVs get better and better, but i can understand if he felt a bit overwhelmed by the changes! they're known for their transitions in MV's. i think the craziness is what makes them so different from other acts, both in kpop and in the western music industry. but the creative freedom they have over their songs and concepts is unheard of in kpop! loved seeing his perspective as a singer and musician! thank you for showing him stray kids! (and happy 6th birthday to SKZ!)
Some more info on LaLaLaLa that I didn't get as a Westerner on first watch - 1. The symbol pronounced "Rak" - used in the album title is "contentment" - and an obvious play on words: "Rak" Star. 2. The symbols that disappear one by one at the top of the screen, with each emotion landscape, name each emotion - but together, they make the basic emotions in Eastern lore. 3. In the little boy's mind, the only emotion left at the end of the performance is "Rak."
Thank you. This is awesome ... you know you are a stay fan when you are introducing friends and family to react to Stray Kids. LOL This is amazing reactions. I am so glad the first one was stray kids debut song District 9. They were all so young and then to show your friend the most current title tracks. I hope you do more of these reactions to show their range of music that stray kids produce. It does not matter if it is a b-side or title track they still go above 100% on their music videos. They also have behind the scenes of the making of there music videos to. Those are also so fun. Everyone is hit by the Felix affect. His vocals are no joke and the vocal range that Felix has from high to deep is insane and we all know we love his deep baritone vocals the most. It like resonates inside your soul. I hope we get another one like this video with more stray kids. until then catch you on the next one.
You will get many more I am sure! Thank you so much for the lovely comment and I will be continuing the stray kids journey over the coming weeks and months 🖤🖤
They have so many good songs.. you should check out Thunderous, Gods menu, Hall of fame, Venom, Domino, Item, Cover me, Muddy water, Collision, The tortoise and the hare, Cheese, Red lights ❤ just a few 😂

Bang Chan and Felix are both from Sydney, Australia. Bang Chan is their leader and main writer/producer (along with Han and Changbin) and you can really hear the influence of where he grew up. Sydney is the drum&bass/House/EDM capital of Australia and you can definitely feel it in the beats Bang Chan produces. As a fellow Australian (Melbourne) I really enjoy seeing them succeed and come out with music that has never really been done by K-POP acts before. Definitely unique and refreshing. Their whole story of how they came to be and the fact they really are a self contained group is a rarity in the K-POP industry and I have been a big fan since I found them!
loved this, was so enjoyable to see ye both discussing and getting his genuine reaction. you should really watch megaverse with him, i just know he would enjoy the rapping but also the synchronisation of the effects to the music in that vid in particular is top tier which he seems to enjoy!
We are definitely going to watch some stray kids stuff together as I also haven’t seen most of their discography! Megaverse is definitely on the list. Thank you so much for watching 🖤🖤
Not me kicking my feet at "ridiculously good" at 6:30 like I'm a Stray Kids member or something... I feel so proud of them, it has been a looong and difficult ride. It's my first video of yours and I agree with the comments, it was a wholesome and enriching interaction, I'm subscribed now and I can't wait to see more of you. I wonder if you've seen the Kingdom program, it's really cool, if not, I will be around. Greetings from Argentina!
I really enjoyed this reaction and introduction of Ryan to us and Stray Kids! I appreciated the breakdown of the songs and what makes them so great and how much you guys appreciated their skill and craft! Thank you ❤ Also, does Ryan have a TH-cam channel and will he be in any more of your videos?
Thank you so much for watching! He does have a TH-cam channel though he hasn’t been active on it for a while - though I suspect that will change! He will definitely be appearing on more of my videos in future :) 🖤
For Ryan...... About Stray Kids: 3Racha - Stray Kids' main writing and production unit, consisting of Bang Chan (the leader of Stray Kids), Changbin and Han (two of their main rappers) Bang Chan was an idol trainee at JYP for several years. While waiting to debut with a group, he formed a rap group called 3Racha with two other trainees, Changbin and Han. They wrote and produced their own music. JYP gave Bang Chan the highly unusual opportunity to help develop his own idol group (which they did through a reality show, but Bang Chan had WAYYYY more say in picking the members than pretty much any other idol trainee in the industry), and when Stray Kids was formed 3Racha was absorbed into that group. 3Racha still performs on occasion. Several of their songs / videos are posted on TH-cam. They write and produce (and often compose/arrange) the vast majority of the music for Stray Kids. But over the years the other members have also gotten involved in writing and production. ---------------------------------- Stray Kids debuted in 2018. They started with 9 members (in their early videos, you'll see 9 people performing) but Woojin left in Oct 2019. Stray Kids have been an 8-member group ever since. ---------------------------------- DanceRacha - their main dance unit (Hyunjin, Felix (the deep-voiced guy), and Lee Know). But all 8 members dance very well. ---------------------------------- VocalRacha - their main vocal unit (Seungmin and I.N). But again, all 8 members have great singing voices and they switch around on lead vocals, depending on the song. ---------------------------------- Main rappers - Changbin, Han, Hyunjin and Felix - however unlike many K-pop groups, all 8 members can and have rapped, depending on the song. ---------------------------------- Languages: Bang Chan (the leader of the group) and Felix (deep-voiced guy) are both Korean-Australian, so English is their first language. The other 6 members speak English with varying degrees of fluency. All 8 members are fluent in both Korean and Japanese. The group can sing and rap in all three languages. ---------------------------------- Not all of their music is super hard all the time. Stray Kids also write / sing beautiful ballads and have also written a few songs for K-drama, anime and video game soundtracks. They also collab with / produce for other idol groups and individual artists from Korea, Japan, China, Thailand and the U.S.
Now you need to watch Megaverse, Thunderous, Gods Menu, Venom, Maniac….they also have some ballads like Secret Secret, and Sorry, Christmas songs like 24 to 25 and Christmas Evel Stray kids are the top 4th generation k-pop group, but another group you might like is Ateez, different style of music, but just as good.
For the second song: The hangul title means “Rock” but also happiness/pleasure, pronounced “lock”. And the English title is LaLaLaLa which is a vocalization of music. The 3 monsters looming over the kids are also represented in the kanji on the one wall for anger, sadness, joy (also happiness) As the kids overcome their fear and other emotions, each monster disintegrates as does the corresponding kanji character until the monsters are gone and only the character for happiness/rock is left. The action in the video is all happening in the kids imaginations which is why the camera keeps zeroing back to the kids’ eyes. Their minds are reimagining different movie scenes (bank heist in “the Dark Knight”, Pirates of the Caribbean, Mad Max, etc) as them fighting off their stage fright and anxiety. And there are 8 little kids performing like there are 8 Stray Kids members. At the end it’s just them victorious over their fears because they followed the song’s meaning, let go of all the negative stuff, let the music take them over, and found happiness in that moment. They all sing, rap, and dance and participate in creating the sound and visuals of their songs. 3 of the members do all of the writing and producing and then for some songs the others also do some of the writing. I love the mix of genres they have. Also Changbin has been clocked at I think an average of 11+ syllables per second.
25:46 Hello again, I absolutely love your reactions and am so happy that you've shared BTS with your friend. Thank you for doing that, it is so lovely to have people meet these guys. BTS's rap line is really fire and dope! Watch their Cyphers 1-4. Check out the lyric videos first to get a gist of the lyrics/bars. Then you can watch the live performances of the rap line, the Run BTS, Busan Concert is a cool one. Also Ddaeng, with the explanation video by DkDkTv, to understand the genius of BTS' wordplay. You need to check some of RM and Suga's work, these two are phenomenal, they are some of the best rappers you can find. For the vocal line, you've gotta check out their Japanese Albums, Ryan will love, Truth Untold, Stay Gold, Film Out, Crystal Snow, Let Go and BTS's cover of Coldplay 's Fix You, the harmonizing and vocals for it is just exquisite and insane, it will prove how good these guys are. Also check out something really old called Look Here, you will see the rap and vocal line harmonizing and transitioning homogeneously. For Black Swan, if only Ryan knows the meaning behind the song, he will be amazed. In Black Swan, the legendary Jimin was the solo dancer doing the contemporary interpretive dance. he is called the Dance God, and has been voted Dance King in all of KPop for 6 years. he was voted King of KPop for 5 years running. He is also called the rookie's bible, other Idol groups like Stray Kids study his every move, vocals and performances, they are fans of BTS. I am looking forward to seeing you Ryan and Ryan for more BTS, Cheers! 😊❤
It is always hard to chose song whenever somebody asks me about them. It is pretty uncomon in my country, or at least in my generation, i can't actually remember anyone listening rap, not to mention such "noise". I always try pick different song but so far i got only "interesting" reactions. Ok maybe God's menu without any warning was bit much :D That is why i love watch these reactions, i love following those People discovering and falling in love fast, as i did. About "requests" - i always think of it as of recomendations, not requests - It is same like with trying introducing to my friends - play them one and based on what they like continue further. With your friend (And yes ofc, bring him on again!) i would try something slower, singing, like Scars or Winter falls, then something else like Double knot, Back door, he could like that, and its variety. I hope we will really be ale wellcome him among us fans :)
Don’t forget to tell Ryan they not only produce all their music, they also write every song.
Told! 😊
Makes it even better!
And after 2019 they're 8🫂🫂❤️❤️❤️
Such a proud stay here🥹🫶
You basically showed him their debut song (district 9) and their very latest mv (lalalala). Almost 6 years between those two 😊
True and it makes me so happy as a newer fan to see that they still kept their distinct flavor.
Ryan choosing District 9 is unexpected. Glad he liked their debut song. 🖤
It’s because it’s an undeniable banger 😝
I am so glad you invited this friend here. He instantly can point out the parts why Stray Kids are so unique in the industry. First, each member has his unique distinguish vocal sound. Their tracks are multi genres and unique with their own way. Felix's attractive tone and how it fits and enhances the whole song. Their rapping and singing blends so well and make it great of a song. I wonder what he thinks about their dancing and producing skills. Please invite him again for more Stray Kids' reaction.
Yes I so much enjoyed Ryan's input and feedback as well. Please bring him back again
AGREED!!
SKZ B-Sides are where all the gems are... You should react to them...
Mhm I agree 100%
SKZ = 8 dancers - 8 rappers - 8 singers 🌟
8 dancers.. And 8 WHAT😨
Wow didn't notice that at first glance
You did a very good job of letting your guest be the center of attention and let him formulate his own thoughts and opinions 👍
Many reaction TH-camrs have a guest and do the equivalent of staring at them expectantly going "oh this is coming up! oh you'll like this!
We shall definitely take a look at these. Thank you for suggesting them 🖤
Yes please!!! Megaverse and Cover Me. Would like to add God’s Menu, Back Door, Mix Tape:Time Out, Thunderous, Levanter, and LALALALA (Rock Version). All these together! 😊
I quadruple that suggestion !!
Many of the shots in LALALALA were from movie sets; Pirates of the Caribbean, Mad Maxx Fury Road and the bank robbery Joker scene from The Dark Knight, to represent the emotions like anger and joy. The white set was not based on a movie but it does represent sorrow.
It’s just such a cool video in every way!
@@rugr82day I quite like drill so I will check it out! Thank you:)
2:28 DISTRICT 9 was their official debut MV from 2018 back when they were a 9-member group but over time remained as 8-member group during the preparation of their Clè Levanter album comeback.
@shumihinamusia Lol what you mean by “who borrowed”, if I’m reading that right? 🤔
S-Class won them a VMA last year, it was so insane. Wondering if you might be attending BST HydePark this year. Stray Kids is one of the headliners! They are even more insane live!
It’s definitely something I’m thinking about! Would be dope to see them live 🖤
@@MCDofWCR You have to go!! And if you go you have to record a vlog! 💗💗
@@lapupiladehyunjin3793 I’ll have a little look see and see if it’s something I can do 😊
They are insane live.
Thankyou so much for reacting to Our StrayKids.! Incredibly Talented, Hard Working and Dedicated Group.!! Proud to be a STAY.!
there. is. never. boring time with stray kids. EVER. their music alwaysssss bring me thru unpredictable journey in the best way possible. i don’t know many artists do that nowadays.
@@wkpdenie22that’s so kind of you to say! ❤ Well, as long as you don’t get bored of hearing us waffle on, then we’ll definitely continue 😊
Not yet! I’m very excited to get there over the coming weeks 😊🖤
If you ever want to get into reacting to their live stuff, their performances on Kingdom: Legendary War were amazing, and I usually watch them from the video titled "MIROH부터 소리꾼(Thunderous)까지!
@@MCDofWCR facts. But also lots of rock fans and metal fans like BTS which is not the usual, lol.

We’ll definitely do some new reactions together! I was kind of limited by my selection because I’ve only listened to 7-8 tracks myself as I am also discovering them and filming my reactions but it would be super cool to react to some both for the first time! Thank you for the suggestions 🖤🖤
Take a look at their pre-debut song and video because Hellevator is a gem.
I describe stray kids music is
"EXPRESSION OF LIFE"
EXPRESSION OF PEOPLE" "EXPRESSION OF EMOTIONS"
Lyrics are beautifully expressed with so many meanings .
Chronosaurus is so underrated.
Haha thank you for the kind words! We will definitely be doing more together 🖤
Yay more Stray Kids ❤ I know the boys appreciate any compliments on their production work.
Production level is quite literally S-Class
Literally 3RACHA (production unit of Bang Chan, Changbin and HAN) are fucking rock stars!
Thank you for introducing Ryan to us and Ryan to Stray kids. It was definitely interesting to watch 😉
Thank you so much for watching ❤😊
Since your friend is a singer, how about you both discover some vocal songs together? I have a feeling he will appreciate Scars, Secret secret, Ex, Waiting for us or Gone away (last 2 are unit songs)
Also I think he will love Backdoor and Charmer.
We will definitely do some songs that are new for both of us - thank you for the suggestions:) 🖤🖤
Back Door M/V is the clue in God's Menu. Back Door is the next video to watch after God's Menu.
Yes please 🙏
I love in lalalala the marching band kids (there are 8 of them) kind of represents them at a young age dreaming big, seeing themselves in the video.
Side effects is the song that made me a stay, I can't wait until you hit miroh and yellow wood eras
Glad you showed an older song as well as newer ones. A lot of reactors seem to only do 2020 and onwards.
Thank you guys 👍👍! More react to Stray kids with your friend! It was a real pleasure 🫶

Loved this! Would love to see him back, but your reactions are always good! More SKZ, please, because "It's stray kids' world and we're just living in it"😅❤.
Thank you for watching! He will be back I’m sure and plenty more reactions to come 🖤🖤
i recommend to you their live performances for example Ill be your man and Gods ddu ddu. And their 5 star album is crazy
Of all their albums, SKZ REPLAY is my top favorite. Coz we were blessed with all the members solo songs. Made me appreciate more their individuality. 😮💨😮💨😮💨 I love Stray Kids.
I couldn’t show him Gods Menu because I haven’t heard it myself yet and want to do my own reaction to it 😊

I love his videos because you can see how much he notices their pure skill in rap. A similiar youtuber, you might have heard of, Teddy Grey also loves stray kids very much.

They were so young on district 9. Before they went down to 8. 😢
You can watch the behind of the making of this MV! Its on stray kids channel!❤
I like watching people's reactions to these songs I love, because it makes me fall in love with them again. I kind of get used to this music and seeing people be amazed at it makes me appeeciate it again.
Thanks!
You are very welcome! 🖤
That's so awesome to share with your friend. I think you guys could do some softer songs like:
1. Levanter
2. Scars First Take (the mv was for their Japanese album but the First Take has lyrics and is just them singing)
3. Chronosaurs
Some other hype ones is:
1. Double knot
2. victory song
3. Thunderous

A clue left toward end 'MEGAVERS'
Also clue left toward end 'FREEZE' M/V

Stray Kids are not real, their energy, tempo, vocals, choreography, aesthetics are just space. I watch each of their videos many times 👏❤️👏❤️👏
a lot of thought went into the LA4 MV in terms of scenes. there's inspiration from The Dark Knight, Pirates of the Caribbean, etc. the editing for their MVs get better and better, but i can understand if he felt a bit overwhelmed by the changes! they're known for their transitions in MV's. i think the craziness is what makes them so different from other acts, both in kpop and in the western music industry. but the creative freedom they have over their songs and concepts is unheard of in kpop! loved seeing his perspective as a singer and musician! thank you for showing him stray kids! (and happy 6th birthday to SKZ!)
Thank you for watching - I absolutely agree that their freedom to push the boundaries is a huge part of what makes them so incredibly entertaining!

Stray kids always amazing
Some more info on LaLaLaLa that I didn't get as a Westerner on first watch -

They also have behind the scenes of the making of there music videos to. Those are also so fun. Everyone is hit by the Felix affect. His vocals are no joke and the vocal range that Felix has from high to deep is insane and we all know we love his deep baritone vocals the most. It like resonates inside your soul. Loved this video! It would be really cool to see more of Ryan's reactions to SKZ, if the opportunity arises 😁

About Stray Kids:
3Racha - Stray Kids' main writing and production unit, consisting of Bang Chan (the leader of Stray Kids), Changbin and Han (two of their main rappers)
Bang Chan was an idol trainee at JYP for several years.
----------------------------------
Stray Kids debuted in 2018. They started with 9 members (in their early videos, you'll see 9 people performing) but Woojin left in Oct 2019. Stray Kids have been an 8-member group ever since.
----------------------------------
DanceRacha - their main dance unit (Hyunjin, Felix (the deep-voiced guy), and Lee Know). But all 8 members dance very well.
----------------------------------
VocalRacha - their main vocal unit (Seungmin and I.N). But again, all 8 members have great singing voices and they switch around on lead vocals, depending on the song.
----------------------------------
Main rappers - Changbin, Han, Hyunjin and Felix - however unlike many K-pop groups, all 8 members can and have rapped, depending on the song.
----------------------------------
Languages:
Bang Chan (the leader of the group) and Felix (deep-voiced guy) are both Korean-Australian, so English is their first language. The other 6 members speak English with varying degrees of fluency.
All 8 members are fluent in both Korean and Japanese. The group can sing and rap in all three languages.
----------------------------------
Not all of their music is super hard all the time.
Stray Kids also write / sing beautiful ballads and have also written a few songs for K-drama, anime and video game soundtracks. They also collab with / produce for other idol groups and individual artists from Korea, Japan, China, Thailand and the U.S.
I will make sure he sees this! 🖤🖤
Thanks for the added context! Incredibly impressive, and this context you've provided will defintely help when MCD and I react to these tracks!
Enjoyed the reaction!
Thank you for watching! 🖤
you really should react to tortoise and the hare (its their song, not recent but so good)
Now you need to watch Megaverse, Thunderous, Gods Menu, Venom, Maniac….they also have some ballads like Secret Secret, and Sorry, Christmas songs like 24 to 25 and Christmas Evel
Stray kids are the top 4th generation k-pop group, but another group you might like is Ateez, different style of music, but just as good.
We will definitely get to them:) thank you for watching! 🖤
Side note...was not expecting ur intro beat to go that hard and it scared me so much almost threw my computer.....😅
Haha can only apologise! I do love that track:)
chan is a mastermindfo r creating all skz songs
Damn i got a jump scare at district 9 i forgot that he was still in this era HAHAHAHA
More SKZ reactions with friend plz
SKZ refers to their genre as "Mala Taste" 😄
That’s the word I was looking for! I knew it began with M and nearly said ‘Maga’ which would’ve been hilarious 😂
The felix effect ❤
Please more stray kids
Wish granted
So good! Can you also please show Ryan God's Menu, Thunderous and Maniac?
I haven’t heard these three yet myself so we will definitely get to them :)
@MCDofWCR really?? I've subbed so I can watch 😆 God's Menu is their most watched mv & when they truly found their flavour 😊
Nice.😊
Love you guys! Both listen to MonstaX! Gambler etc
Love you too man! Thanks for watching and we will be sure to get to them 🖤
He likes Felix's voice , then show him these❣❣❣
