I find really interesting the fact that you choose three perfect songs to describe Stray Kids 😂 'District 9' is about them not knowing who they are and trying to escape from the 'copy-paste' industry; God's Menu is about them finding their flavour (their music identity) and presenting it to the world; and JJAM (sounds like 'fun' in Korean) is about them playing spreading their flavour everywhere all around the world❤ I really enjoyed your reaction
If you’ve listened to other K-pop, throw away any notion of what you think K-pop is. You’ve just discovered the most” do it our way and break the mold” group. They are self produced and have hundreds of song credits. Their discography is vast and varied. They made history by having their first five entries debut at No1 in the Billboard 200. Won the VMA for best K-pop video 2023 for S-Class
@@bta7658? they weren’t excluding bts it just wasn’t part of what they were saying, you could say bts is they mold for k-pop because of how popular their music made it just skz music isn’t like theirs at all, and they did win vmas + 5 billboards in a row
17:33 lee know, that's why 21:03 "i know, you know, lee know" 2:33 han 3:01 changbin 9:51 felix 10:33 hyunjin 19:49 seungmin 19:52 I.N (maknae) 22:04 bangchan (leader) if you like this songs, please check Venom, Double Knot, Circus, Case 143 and Easy
Stray Kids like their double or even triple meanings of words. In JJAM, when they say "Sing, Dance, Rap", it is supposed to be a Jam Session, where everybody does, what their best at.
Stray kids are some of the most random but talented idols ever if you ever react to more I totally recommend Christmas Evel, Circus, Get Lit, Any, Slash (no mv), and chk chk boom
"Most random". Yes, i am not fan of name Stray Kids as a group for some reason (well of its Kid part) , but i so many times thought it is so fitting :)
Yaaa I've watched all your bts reactions and now I'm seeing my ult group, stray kids! Haha you've got 3 songs here in the typical stray kids genre (mala taste), but they actually do over 40 genres in their music, very versatile. :D If you want something completely different, try songs like secret secret or scars (first take). They also just released a new album (ATE), you could check that out. After 'sing' you saw vocalracha - their vocal subunit After 'dance' you saw dancheraca - their dance unit After 'rap' you saw their main rappers, part of 3RACHA (the producing unit) That leaves one member which is Bang Chan, who ended the song (he's the leader and part of 3RACHA subunit aswell) The units are fun for projects and point out their specialties, but they're all vocalists, rappers and dancers. They can all do everything well. They produce 99% of their music themselves btw, probably the group in kpop with the most control over their music.
I love that you enjoyed JJAM so much hahaha. I was curious how someone who doesn't know stray kids that well would react to it. One of the members, I.N, described listening to it as getting hit over the head. It's definitely unique lol. This group has a lot of unique songs, so if you like that, you're in the right place! If you want to get into more Stray Kids, I think you should watch the MVs for Maniac and Venom from their 2022 album ODDINARY (Honestly listen to this whole album even if you don't react to it, it has very unique production). You listened to JJAM, but Chk Chk Boom is actually the title track of their most recent comeback, so give that a listen. Slash is an OST they released recently for the Deadpool & Wolverine movie. It has no MV, but you might like it. There's also LALALALA and MEGAVERSE from their album ROCK-STAR... There's honestly so much I could recommend, but I'll stop here. Anyways, this was a great video! I enjoyed seeing your reaction to these songs and how you were honest about what you liked/didn't like. Keep it up!
24:37 I really love how you noticed that because YES they do have a LOT of involvement and control since they WRITE and PRODUCE almost all of their music (mostly 3 members: Bang Chan, Changbin and Han that form the producing line 3Racha) so that is why their style and music is so unique and personal, they have done a lot of diferent genres but always putting their signature. I really enjoyed your reaction.
Stray kids was the group that got me into kpop and they're still one of my favorite groups. They're also one of those groups that has a ton of variety in their music so I really highly reccomend that you listen to their albums! They really are such unique artists and it makes me very happy to see them having the success and recognition they deserve. (BTW keep it up with the channel you're doing great! I'm loving the videos!)
jjam is their bside song of their new album btw. the title track is called "Chk Chk Boom" and i hope you can check it out. thank you for the reaction!! 🤍
They debuted in 2018 They are ages 23 - 26 Fandom name is Stay #2 Best Selling Artist in U.S 2023 #3 Globally Best Selling 2023 They are unique for several reasons... First, the leader Bang Chan was allowed by JYP to hand pick all of the members himself. They were not placed together in a traditional way, by the company. Second all of them are all arounders. They can all sing, rap, dance, produce and write. Third, they have written and produced about 99% of their music. Numbers of songs each member has copyrighted according to Korean Music Association (KOMCA) so far... Bang Chan 193 (#3 in KPop) Changbin 163 Han 161 Hyunjin 27 Felix 22 I.N 21 Seungmin 20 Lee Know 17 While they can all do everything they do have 3 different subunits... 3Racha... Bang Chan, Chang Bin and Han which are the main producers and lyricists. They are always credited as 3Racha. 3Racha Achievements - Producers of Consecutive Five Time Billboard 200 #1 album debuts - only group in history - Hot 100 Hitmakers - 3rd, 11th, 12th Most Credited Idols on KOMCA - Produced Albums Sold Over 20 Million Copies - Japan Hot 100 Hitmakers - 100+ Weeks on Hot 100 Lyricists - 100+ Weeks On Hot 100 Composers - 2023 Asia Artist Awards Best Creator - Makers of Time Magazines 2020 #8 Best Song (their song Backdoor) Danceracha... Lee Know (in charge of leading dance practices), Felix and Hyunjin. They also contribute to the choreography. Vocalracha... Seungmin and I.N While the songs are hype they always have significant meaning to them. Their lyricism is always insane. Since they are so experimental their sound has its own genre and they have a very diverse discography. Example... Gods Menu, Back Door and Case 143 all completely different sounds.
You also should add Woojin, who was a member in 2018/2019 but left to be a soloist. There were issues with him being a bully (especially to Felix, I believe), but I don’t know much about this so I can’t say too much. You can search on Google for further informations. Anyway, Stray Kids had 9 members in its debut, and we can see and hear Woojin in District 9 as well.
@akihayashi2574 No, I just don't talk about him. If I did I would say there used to be 9 members but one left in 2018 for personal reasons because no one really knows why. I'm not going to spread rumors further.
My suggestions for Stray Kids: -Megaverse (good beat drop, and your favorite rapper Han has a good verse ) -Easy ( one of my favorite) -Chk Chk Boom -Topline (you’ll like your bias rapper Han in here probably) -S Class
STAY on deck. Stray Kids 8 members are Rappers, Vocalists, and Dancers. Stray Kids are a Self-Producing group. Stray kids give clues throughout or toward end of their Music Videos at times for STAYS. God’s Menu, Clue left toward end of Video above doorway lit in red for next Video to watch after watching God's Menu. "Back Door" District 9 was released 2018. God’s Menu released 2020. JJAM the lyrics are filled with playful metaphors and energetic calls to action, encouraging listeners to let go of their worries and join in the collective experience of enjoyment. JJAM making it a powerful anthem for living life to the fullest.
You say you like different then Stray Kids is definitely the group for you! They have such a unique sound and I can't wait for you to get more into their discography! Here's some songs I recommend: • Chk Chk Boom (their title track from their new album 'Ate' which has jjam in it) • S-Class (btw they performed this song at the vmas last year & won for best kpop!) • Thunderous • Lalalala • Megaverse • Venom
In Jjam, the "sing, dance, rap" segments you marked were carefully thought out. Amazing that you picked up on that. This song is carefully arranged to highlight each of SKZ's subunits: vocal, dance and rap ones.
They are unique in the kpop world, they themselves write and produce almost all their own songs. They were talking about their newest album and that they wanted to try out the pop genre more. When they were done they decided it didn't sound enough like them and they went back and changed a lot. Changbin said this is why the release was later because they didn't feel like it had the quality and sound they wanted. They ended up making it Stray Kids sound with pop elements. They are beyond talented and there is so much to learn about them. They have always stuck to who they were even when the industry and people were ripping on them for being just noise music. Love them!
Recommendations for more of Stray Kids’ unique sounds- ‘SLASH’ the OST for Deadpool&Wolverine (lyric video), VENOM, Side Effects, S-Ckass, and ‘Tortoise & the Hare’. Lots of creativity in these. For more Rap focused tracks check out Topline, Megaverse, Easy, 3Racha. Title tracks- newest is ChkChkBoom, Thunderous, Maniac, LALALALA. They have sweet ballads too- really something for everyone. Have fun discovering their discography & ask questions- the fans, STAY, will be happy to help.
24:25 wow, I’m a fan and watched this m/v a several times but didn’t notice that! You are a genius, because it’s really makes sense since SKZ have this 3 parts inside the group (people that have a more focus on certain skill): danceracha (3 members), 3racha (producing and rap focused 3 members) and vocalracha (2 members). Even in the choreography to this song these units have it’s own parts! It’s my first time on your channel and I really liked your reaction, I like that you obviously have knowledge and good attention on details that makes your opinion constructive :) Also you did a great job choosing the songs to introduce yourself to this group. I’m happy that you like Gods Menu, it’s a catchy song, its message is that once you discover Stray Kids, you’ll get addicted to them cause they have so much different genres in discography that everyone will find ‘dish’ for their ‘taste’! Btw they even have their own called Malataste. Also for me it’s obvious whats your favorite member already 😂 It’s HAN (Han Jisung)! One of the producers, main rapper and vocalist, he can do everything actually. Your words and reaction on JJAM made me smile so much! I’m sure you will like a lot of their songs If continue this journey! Good Luck!
i really like your approach, you don’t sensationalize your reaction but you still express your impressions in a chill and concise manner-appreciate you bro thanks for checking out stray kids!
'Slower' songs to react to by Stray Kids: Collision, Lonely St, Chill, and DLC. You know, for a change up if you want. 😊 thanks for reacting to Stray Kids!!!
Do you want to see how versatile they are?? Try Twilight, Megaverse, Red Lights, Taste, Get Cool, Venom, and Cover Me 😁 Stray Kids is a special group, they are true to their style (Mala Taste), feelings, and message. Hope to see you around with more Stray Kids, you won´t regret it!! 😉
The aggressive rapper is Changbin and the guy who rapped after him in God’s Menu with the nice flow is Han.Both are main music producers of Stray Kids along with the leader Bang Chan with the chain looking thing in his face in God’s Menu.
“I am Not” is the name of their debut album! They started with the ‘I am…’ trilogy with I am Not, I am Who, and I am You Jjam in Korean means fun so it’s a play on words! Honey jam or ‘kkul jam” is a way of saying something is super fun and “you’ve got no jam” means you’re no fun. If you like unique songs then Stray Kids is the band for you!
Thanks so much! District 9 was the song they debuted with 6 years ago. God’s Menu was a popular song that really put them on the map, and Jjam is a new video form their new album called Ate.They are a group that produces their own music, but most kpop groups don’t do that.2 of the members including the leader and oldest (Bang Chan) and the deep voice guy named Felix are both Australian and speak fluent English.
Thank you for appreciating 3Racha talents as well as the rest of the astray Kids ❤️ They are known for “noisy” music, but a lot of us like that. They do have some mellow songs though, but the noisy songs are classic Stray Kids music
Stay sound off! Welcome to Stray Kids! I don't want to just repeat everyone else so I will say glad you are checking them out and you also really seemed to like Han's rapping and also his vocals. Han is our ace of the group. His rapping flow really hooked me too. Also watching people react to Felix's voice for the first time never gets old. We call it the Felix effect. If it helps his personality matches his face not his voice. Seriously though he actually has a wide range. One of their other songs off this album was called Stray Kids (watch some other videos before that one. It references so many of their older songs and their journey) and Felix started it with beautiful mid range singing that many newer fans couldnt believe was actually Felix. They love to surprise us. They change sounds and genres frequently and often within the same song. S-Class is a perfect example of that. I hope you check out some more!
Ty for checking out Stray Kids!!! They are soooo very special and unique--from their back stories and personalities to their master class word play/music production. JJam lyrics utilize several different layers of meaning from a child hood game of "dori dori jam(?)," to the Korean word for fun, the English word for dancing , the idea of jam being a traffic blockage, and finally the meaning of jam as being sticky. The mv is meant to be a fun horror concept. The way that the visuals and choreo match the lyrics and production is CLASSIC SKZ😂, and sick transitions are their calling card. Other songs along this bent that you might like are "why?" (Lyric video only), "christmas evil," and "get lit." They also do a million other sounds, though. For something completely different: "cover me" (lyric video only), "scars, "lonely street," "chill." Subbing in hopes you will do a stray kids deep dive. There are literally so many different things to share when it comes to these boys❤
Love your honest and insightful reaction! I love that you noticed God's Menu start and end the same; songs build to a climax and they came in with it. It's like starting your meal with dessert and Stray Kids are very intentional with everything they do. They are famous for word play, transitions, and unique sound. 3Racha is the rap unit and production unit of the group; Bang Chan, Han, and Changbin were making music together before Stray Kids was formed and they create all the beats and are heavily involved in all aspects of production. JJam highlights the subunits very well, but if you go further down this rabbit hole you'll see that all 8 can sing, all 8 can rap, and all 8 can dance. I promise you won't regret this journey and I'll gladly sub to enjoy it with you.
I love seeing the Stray Kids effect on people because it’s exactly how I felt. What catch me was how unique and refreshing they sound, and when I found out they were a self-produced group instead of just the typical pop producer manufactured act, they got me. I think your MV choices enabled you to see their growth and how they slowly shaped to what they are now. Really loved your reaction and comments and hope you can explore further their discography
Truly appreciate your format, great way to give a new (to you) group a good look-see! Your honest and respectful reaction is very welcome-- everyone has different tastes! The best thing about SKZ is that they do so many different things, you can always find something to like! Over 200 songs in their discography, to think that they were 21 to 17 when tbey debuted, and still were putting together bangers at such a young age! They actually released a m/v to a song they had to put together during their "survival" show when the group was being formed. Tbe song is Hellevator, and is pretty special as their genesis.
i like your method of reacting music videos! and thank you for deciding to check out to more stray kids music. i'm glad you're one of the people who can easily remember person's face and name
omg it’s so funny at the end of gods menu you went oh they’re walking out the back door bc that was actually a spoiler for their next song backdoor LOL also the reason why their songs seem like they have a lot of control is bc they write all their music!! three of the members specifically have written essentially all their songs and worked with producing / arranging them as well :)) it’s really cool
HAN hits different. he really is a gem. Its not even an popularity contest. Bro is just using his talents and wittyness to the max in whatever he does. Hence my favourite. he really doesnt limit himself to looks, dance or voice. He makes sure to practice in every segment and every bit of the music industry. Whether its writing, composing, singing, rapping, dancing, freestyling, adlibbing or making solo songs on himself or for members, doing 2 of 3 times the job of another member. And the fact that he writes and makes songs the fastest out of everyone including Chan. He really is genius. No wonder he needs his sleep or forgets lyrics or dance. As opposed to how much his brain functions and works. He does excel in a whole different way. Ace doesnt do him justice. The guy is a powerhouse❤
Very good reaction. I also like how you picked song, it is good way to know them for the first time, although with SKZ you never expect 2 songs be the same, so you have a lot to discover. "They are different" - yes, exactly why i fell for nearly all their songs, even those i didnt like originally. I liked they old sound better but i love go with them wherever they take us. Btw just yesterday another reacror said he is curious what it would be like if someone picked Jam as first song. More or less tested now, you didnt even think they are insane :D i am sure many ppl already said they write and produce all their songs, so yes, all kind of styles, sounds, and it is still them, although i cant descibe why :) . And ther m/v's are worth watching, they are kings of transitions. Good luck with other reactions, really looking forward to them
I'm going to suggest FAM as they sing about each other (youngest to oldest). If you want to get to know them and their names, that song is a good starting point. (then maybe a guide later if you want something more in depth)
Hi ..this is the first time I am seeing you. Thank you for reacting to Stray Kids. I am a STAY (Stray Kids fandom name). These 8 guys are to put it simply ...AMAZING. They are also 99℅ self produced. I really hope you check out more of their discography....there's a lot to know about this group. They let us know from the beginning who they are and what they are about.
might be oot but i rlly like listening to you talking, its very calming 😭❤ thank u for reacting to stray kids !! theyre the only kpop group i listen to since i dont listen to kpop that much
I love people reacting to Han’s rap and then later on figuring out that he can sing just as well as he raps 🤣🤣🤣❤️ Plus everyone’s always surprised by Lix’s voice 😆😆
Thank you for checking out Stray Kids! This group is self-produced, extremely talented artist and performers and very down to earth and fun. I look forward to your next reaction!
The person with hard/sharp rap is Changbin, the other rapper is Han. The one with the deep voice is Felix. Stray kids have many different genres. they produce their own songs. there are three sub-units; the sub-unit 3racha (rap unit) are the main producers and composers. Sub-units: 3racha= Chan (leader and oldest), Changbin and Han Dance racha= Lee Know, Hyunjin and Felix Vocal racha= Seungmin and I.N (youngest)
The songs that hype me the most from stray kids are ITEM, DOMINO, CHEESE and Chk Chk Boom. You should definitely check them out. Also some of their best is S-Class, Super Bowl, Maniac, Top Line
Loved your reaction and observations 😊 Thank you for reacting to Stray Kids!! ❤❤❤❤ You should check out Chk Chk Boom, Lalalala, S-class, Maniac, Thunderous, Easy, Venom, ❤❤❤❤
Thanks for your reaction. Stray Kids are an 8 member, self producing group who debuted in 2018 when there was a 16 year old, 4 x 17 year olds an 18, 19 and 20 year old. Their ages now range between 23 and 26 years. If you like unique sounds you might like Venom and Freeze (which has quite some rapping too). Look forward to seeing you react to SKZ again.
Thank you so much for appreciating our 2 best rappers, it always makes me happy when ppl recognizes how good they are and so the one w the aggressive rapping is Changbin (today's his birthday btw, August 11 2024) and the other one that u liked is Han. I agree that they have different rapping styles but both of them slays in their own way!
Welcome to the Stray Kids rabbit hole! Us Stays (fandom name) are happy to have you here!! As you watch them, you will see they are not afraid to try different things with their music but still maintain their own sound. They really crush it every time. I would recommend Megaverse, Case 143, and S-class for some very different songs with awesome MVs. There are many, many hidden meanings to their MVs and songs and also double if not triple or quadruple entendres as well. I can sit here and recommend so many songs by them all day 😂 I hope you check them out more! Enjoy!!
New subscriber here... I love the way you pause mv & share your genuine opinion immediately... That's how reactors should did😁 Also when you said you love his vocal 17:42, actually he's the rapper 2:478:25 that you love the flow & tone somuch, his name is HAN. . .and he also sang part "got them!!!" in jjam 19:09 which also you love the way HAN said it😁 And other aggressive rapper is Changbin, deep voice guy is Felix... Next please react: THUNDEROUS MANIAC VENOM
the deep voice guy's name is felix, and he was 17 when district 9 came out, 19 when god's menu came out and he's currently 23 (he'll turn 24 next month). he has had a deep voice since he was 13-14 😅
Really enjoyed the honest but respective reaction. Gonna follow you for this journey to SKZ because they really are smt else. Perfect introduction trio of songs. They do have so much more sounds to their music but these were pretty spot on what SKZ is by era. Thank you for the reaction ~

I am absolutely in love with how we got to slowly see SKZ's unique style grow on you! By the end just the huge smile and the dancing means you're hooked! Haha they have so many more unique and fun songs, I can't wait to go binge the rest of your reactions!
JJAM is actually just a B-Side, 'Chk Chk Boom' is the newest Title song from their new Album 'ATE'. And if you look for more uniqe songs you have the right group here.
They actually don't have roles anymore, but if you want to divide then dance line is Lee Know, Hyunjin and Felix. Rap line are Changbin, Han, Hyunjin and Felix and vocal line are Lee Know, Chan, I.N, Seungmin and Han again. Producing team is Chan, Changbin and Han. They're not the rapline, they're the producing team. Chan is more vocalist. However they were a pre-debut hiphop group, but that's not the same as their role in stray kids itself.
You expressed your opinions so thoughtfully. I look forward to your future reactions. The Stray Kids discography is deep. These boys don't stop producing. We STAY are definitely here to watch you go down the rabbit hole!
Their music is so unique, they are completely self producing. They write, compose, and produce their own songs. Their leader chan has a recording studio that they record in, it's very fun watching the behind the scenes videos that put out showing the process of in the recording studio and watching how technical they get with tweaking every tiny sound and emotion to how they want it Their style of music works because it's exactly how *they* want. Changbin (the one with the more aggressive and gritty rap) said that jjam is his favourite song off the new album because it has their signature style and when they were producing it he threw in all the fun things that wouldn't fit into other songs
thank you for these reactions. Welcome to Stayville. Never late to the Stray Kids party. Over the years Stray Kids were good but have evolved even better. They are always looking for ways to improve and try new things. 3 members are the main producing team and they are called 3Racha, which is also a rap unit. They write, compose, arrange and produce 99.9% of Stray Kids music. This includes the unique sounds, beat changes, melody switches and even mixed genres. They love to experiment with music and have perfected their own unique sounds. They don't follow the normal structure of music. Not saying they haven't created more of the normal structure songs, just saying they like being them self's and embrace being different. Stray Kids is like their own genre. 2 members are from Australia so they love incorporating the English words with Korean and having double meanings in their lyrics for the listeners to choose what they take way from the song. This was good to see where they started from and what they are now. But don't let this define Stray Kids out of these 3 songs. They are so much more. There are no set roles within the group, despite what you mainly see the role them in. All of the boys can rap and have different styles, all of them have amazing vocals and all can dance. They have a large discography. I would love for you to check out their pre debut song Hellevator, then Chk Chk Boom m/v (title track to latest mini album called Ate), Lalalala m/v, S-Class m/v, Manic m/v and Case 143 m/v. these are the main title tracks of their last 5 albums which have hit consecutively #1 on the billboard 100 charts and made broke a new record. Also Mountains is another b-side from this mini alum Ate like JJam is. They are the only group how puts out more m/v per album and their m/vs are soo good and satisfying to watch. Hope to catch you on the next stray kids reaction.
Great choices for an initial look into them. I will say they LOVE their metaphors and commit to them. Just like how God’s menu were talking about everything cooking and creating flavor but it was all about how their creative and they one of a kind and will always make new things. I love how they play around with their words and meanings and images.
I love it when first time reactors watch and listen to more than one song in one sit because you can see the bright in their eyes as they go from "meh, it's ok" to "daaaamn". That was what happened to me. This isn't even my style of music and I don't listen to kpop either, but my friend shared ccb and god's menu and at first I was like "it's interesting but you know this isn't my thing, bestie". I don't know what happened in the middle, but two weeks after that I'm crying and hoping the toxicity of some fans and the industry not to break them(':
They did a brand new genre in Chk Chk Boom, the lead song from their newest album ATE. They were recently nominated for MTV VMA for Best K-pop for LALALALA, the lead song from their previous album Rock Star. This is their second VMA Award nomination, they won last year for S-Class, the lead song from their album 5 Star. Hopefully they win again. 👍
Its really interesting to see district 9 and jjam in the same video, ive been a stay since 2018 and i think its fun that you can very clearly see that theyve grown alot and really found their style
They write their own songs. 3 members (3racha - Bangchan,Changbin,Han) from start to finish of every song. and I think they have a lot of freedom overall.
You should listen to Maniac (has mt favorite line "cosplaying as what society deems as normal") and their new stuff, CHK CHK BOOM and Mountains. And hellevator is very good, and another kpop band from the same agency (an actual BAND BAND) did a cover of it, XDINARY HEROES. Please everyone needs to give XH some more love ❤❤❤❤
I'm so happy that u did a stray kids video, hoping to see more of Stray kids so I subscribed. I'm not gonna shut up about how well diversed they are like literally they have songs that fits any genre and imo whatever mood u're in, there's always a skz song that u can find to listen to, and the fact that they're self produced and writes 99% of the lyrics of their songs which is not really common in kpop industry is what makes me even prouder. Pls u should react to my fav songs "Maniac" (I really love this song, Felix w the deep voice in the chorus of this song is always stuck in my head especially the instrumental in this song), "Lalalala" (A hype and energetic song), "Topline"(the rap here is servingg) If u're the type who likes more vocals I personally recommend "Mixtape:OH", "Cover Me", & "Secret Secret" for the sub units I recommend "Surfin" it's a summer song & it has 3 members (Lee Know, Changbin,Felix), "Gone Away" has more vocals, it also has 3 members ( Han, Seungmin, I.N) stray kids has a thing called sub units whenever they're dividing themselves to make some music(mostly a duo or a trio song), one example is "Red lights" which I also recommend to watch, the song Red lights only has 2 members in it which is Chan & Hyunjin. Though they have 3 major sub units such as 1. 3RACHA (pronounced as three-racha) - consisting of Chan(leader), Changbin, & Han. They're the rap & producing unit of Stray kids, Chan is more inclined in singing tho and Changbin & Han does the rapping, they're mostly the one responsible for producing, composing, arranging,& writing in 99% of their songs, they personally help & direct members in recording their songs (u can see them in the credits in mostly of their mvs) u can tell that they're really hardworking & puts a lot of effort in their music 2. DANCERACHA - the dance unit of the group consisting of Lee Know, Hyunjin(pronounced as yoon-jin), & Felix, responsible for helping and teaching other members on choreographies that they may be struggling with (mostly, Lee Know is the one who leads) and sometimes contributes choreographies for their songs as well. The three of them is also considered as Visual Unit since they're really good looking and they already appeared in magazines and became ambassadors of some of the most famous clothing brands(if I remember correctly, Leeknow is Gucci, Felix is Louis Vuitton,& Hyunjin is Versace) 3. VOCALRACHA- vocal unit of the group consisting of Seungmin( simply pronounced as sung-min) & I.N(pronounced as eye-in) they're mostly the one who's singing in the group like the pre-chorus or the bridge of their songs. Both has really lovely vocals and they're the youngest members of the group (I.N is the most youngest born on 2001) But these sub units doesn't mean that they're only good in that particular sort of things because all of them are ALL ROUNDERS, meaning they're good at everything such as singing, rapping,& dancing. You'll be shock the moment u discover that the rappers is serving vocals while the others that usually sings punches u w their rapping. Skz is the short term for Stray Kids and the fandom name is called Stay. I really love them all but my ultimate biases at the moment is 3RACHA(Chan, Changbin,Han). Bias means your favorite member. That's all I can say and please correct me if I'm wrong since I only became a Stay this year, I pretty much typed anything that I only know abt Skz or there might be something I'm missing information and so y'all can freely add up anything, my English is not good since it's not my first language so I hope u understand my comment. Love your reactions btw.
thank you for reacting to them in the right way by appreciating their talents and for doing your basic research before watching the 1st video. you might be the 1st person i have watch that has had the felix effect happen during district 9, most people get it during god's menu or later songs.
I find really interesting the fact that you choose three perfect songs to describe Stray Kids 😂 'District 9' is about them not knowing who they are and trying to escape from the 'copy-paste' industry; God's Menu is about them finding their flavour (their music identity) and presenting it to the world; and JJAM (sounds like 'fun' in Korean) is about them playing spreading their flavour everywhere all around the world❤ I really enjoyed your reaction
couldn't said better ToT
Wow no better words to describe
Perfect description!
Amazing description
I’ll never get tired of seeing people reacting to felix’s voice for the first time😂
Lol, another victim of the Felix Effect 😊
right HAHA
Changbin wrote JJAM to showcase each of their units: 3racha, Danceracha, and Vocalracha.
Chan and Changbin wrote it
@@prmtvAt first Changbin the one who made it and Chan also helping making it perfect
@davesquash13 yeah but they both still wrote on it and helping make something perfect sounds like a pretty big role to be leaving out.
aggressive rapper - Changbin
rapper, you liked - Han
deep voice guy - Felix
If you’ve listened to other K-pop, throw away any notion of what you think K-pop is. You’ve just discovered the most” do it our way and break the mold” group. They are self produced and have hundreds of song credits. Their discography is vast and varied. They made history by having their first five entries debut at No1 in the Billboard 200. Won the VMA for best K-pop video 2023 for S-Class
And voting for VMAs for LALALA is open right now too!
Many "K pop" groups don't fit the old kpop mold.
usually I don't write this stuff but IF you exclude BTS that's true at least from what I know...but you can hype Stray Kids without being delusional
@@bta7658 so if it’s true how is it delusional?
@@bta7658? they weren’t excluding bts it just wasn’t part of what they were saying, you could say bts is they mold for k-pop because of how popular their music made it just skz music isn’t like theirs at all, and they did win vmas + 5 billboards in a row
17:33 lee know, that's why 21:03 "i know, you know, lee know"
2:33 han
3:01 changbin
9:51 felix
10:33 hyunjin
19:49 seungmin
19:52 I.N (maknae)
22:04 bangchan (leader)
if you like this songs, please check Venom, Double Knot, Circus, Case 143 and Easy
I laugh every time -- I can't believe they put that in the song! 🤣
That's really his voice. That's Felix. He was almost 18 in District 9. His voice changed at 13. That was their debut song from 2018.
"Most random" 😂 Totally true, though I prefer "unpredictable" 😅 You should always "expect the unexpected" when it comes to Stray Kids 🤣
After 'sing' you saw vocalracha - their vocal subunit
After 'dance' you saw dancheraca - their dance unit
After 'rap' you saw their main rappers, part of 3RACHA (the producing unit)
That leaves one member which is Bang Chan, who ended the song (he's the leader and part of 3RACHA subunit aswell)
The units are fun for projects and point out their specialties, but they're all vocalists, rappers and dancers.
Yeses he needs to see Chk Chk Boom!
Maybe it helps to mention that chk chk boom is with Ryan Raynolds and Hugh Jackman!
Chk chk Boom is definitely my favorite. I think the beat is what I love.
They debuted in 2018
They are ages 23 - 26
Fandom name is Stay
#2 Best Selling Artist in U.S 2023
#3 Globally Best Selling 2023
They are unique for several reasons...
Bang Chan 193 (#3 in KPop)
Changbin 163
Han 161
Hyunjin 27
Felix 22
I.N 21
Seungmin 20
Lee Know 17
While they can all do everything they do have 3 different subunits...
3Racha... Bang Chan, Chang Bin and Han which are the main producers and lyricists. They are always credited as 3Racha.
3Racha Achievements
- Producers of Consecutive Five Time Billboard 200 #1 album debuts - only group in history
- Hot 100 Hitmakers
- 3rd, 11th, 12th Most Credited Idols on KOMCA
- Produced Albums Sold Over 20 Million Copies
- Japan Hot 100 Hitmakers
- 100+ Weeks on Hot 100 Lyricists
- 100+ Weeks On Hot 100 Composers
- 2023 Asia Artist Awards Best Creator
- Makers of Time Magazines 2020 #8 Best Song (their song Backdoor)
Danceracha... Lee Know (in charge of leading dance practices), Felix and Hyunjin. They also contribute to the choreography.
Vocalracha... Seungmin and I.N
While the songs are hype they always have significant meaning to them. Their lyricism is always insane.
Since they are so experimental their sound has its own genre and they have a very diverse discography.
Example... Gods Menu, Back Door and Case 143 all completely different sounds.
You need to copy and paste this comment to all new people discovering Skz because it's 🤌🤌❤️🔥
@ShaynaSKZ_685 oh I do, I wrote it out on a notes app lol
@prmtv yasss love that!! Thanks fellow stay 🥰
My suggestions for Stray Kids:
-Megaverse (good beat drop, and your favorite rapper Han has a good verse )
-Easy ( one of my favorite)
-Chk Chk Boom
-Topline (you’ll like your bias rapper Han in here probably)
-S Class
Great suggestions😊
@@Cookie-K thank you!!
Add thunderous in here and it’s perfect
@@Sbunny909 also a good one! That was going to be part of my next batch of suggestions 😂
Mountains, Thunderous, lalala, maniac bc of seungmins highnote, miroh …case 143 maybe, easy also a maybe.
"Back Door"
District 9 was released 2018.
Here's some songs I recommend:
• Chk Chk Boom (their title track from their new album 'Ate' which has jjam in it)
• S-Class (btw they performed this song at the vmas last year & won for best kpop!)
• Thunderous
• Lalalala
• Megaverse
• Venom
Yes! Great selection to show versatility. I would add ‘side effects’ and ‘tortoise and the hare’ to add to the “different” sound he seems to like.
They started with the ‘I am…’ trilogy with I am Not, I am Who, and I am You
Jjam in Korean means fun so it’s a play on words!
Yes please our VOCAL RACHA deserve the recognition, thank u for the reaction
Maniac, Venom, Thunderous and Freeze. 🔥
Loved your reaction. Keep going down the rabbit hole. I’m subscribing to watch your SKZ journey!
i like your method of reacting music videos! and thank you for deciding to check out to more stray kids music. i'm glad you're one of the people who can easily remember person's face and name
Welcome to stray kids…you’ll never leave now. #fellowstay
omg it’s so funny at the end of gods menu you went oh they’re walking out the back door bc that was actually a spoiler for their next song backdoor LOL
also the reason why their songs seem like they have a lot of control is bc they write all their music!! three of the members specifically have written essentially all their songs and worked with producing / arranging them as well :)) it’s really cool
Good luck with other reactions, really looking forward to them
I would also suggest to check their live performance for Jam, there is clear what that Sing / Dance / Rap is for, i really love that.
FELIX HIS VOCAL ARE AMAZING KING OF KPOP💯🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥👑👑👑👑
might be oot but i rlly like listening to you talking, its very calming 😭❤ thank u for reacting to stray kids !! theyre the only kpop group i listen to since i dont listen to kpop that much
Loved the journey with your 3 song selections! SKZ songs are definitely unique! Venom and megaverse are my favorite!
I love people reacting to Han’s rap and then later on figuring out that he can sing just as well as he raps 🤣🤣🤣❤️
Plus everyone’s always surprised by Lix’s voice 😆😆
Welcome to Stay. You have summoned us.
Stray kıds are the kings of transitions in their MV's and yes they do bring different vibes. Please react to Chk chk boom
You like ‘out there’? Try Stray Kids ‘The Tortoise and The Hare’ or ‘Side Effects’ 😂
He’s not ready for Tortoise and The Hare😭
@@BaboHyunjinside effects scares some too😂 he struggled with district 9 😂, reminds me my taste is unique 😂
Sub-units:
3racha= Chan (leader and oldest), Changbin and Han
Dance racha= Lee Know, Hyunjin and Felix
Vocal racha= Seungmin and I.N (youngest)
That's how reactors should did😁
Also when you said you love his vocal 17:42, actually he's the rapper 2:47 8:25 that you love the flow & tone somuch, his name is HAN. . .and he also sang part "got them!!!" in jjam 19:09 which also you love the way HAN said it😁
And other aggressive rapper is Changbin, deep voice guy is Felix...
Next please react:
THUNDEROUS
MANIAC
VENOM
Thank you for reacting to our stray kids! Self producing badass group! ❤ You'll love their music, please do more reactions!
the deep voice guy's name is felix, and he was 17 when district 9 came out, 19 when god's menu came out and he's currently 23 (he'll turn 24 next month). he has had a deep voice since he was 13-14 😅
Really enjoyed the honest but respective reaction. Gonna follow you for this journey to SKZ because they really are smt else. Perfect introduction trio of songs. They do have so much more sounds to their music but these were pretty spot on what SKZ is by era. Thank you for the reaction ~
Gotta love anyone who gets hooked on Han's rap flow
If you like unique music, it's the right place so... Welcome in Stayville 😁
AND! You have to listen to The Tortoise and the Hare 😍
Wait till he finds out they're self-produced

I am absolutely in love with how we got to slowly see SKZ's unique style grow on you! By the end just the huge smile and the dancing means you're hooked! Haha they have so many more unique and fun songs, I can't wait to go binge the rest of your reactions!
I find so fascinating that u catch up on the SING, DANCE and RAP in jjam, i couldn't notice that by myself after listening A LOT of times lol
JJAM is actually just a B-Side, 'Chk Chk Boom' is the newest Title song from their new Album 'ATE'.
And if you look for more uniqe songs you have the right group here.
Felix (deep voice) was 16 during District 9... Bro is a different level and is usually an instant favorite for non-Kpop fans.
yeah stray kids is the best place to be for unique music , u came to the right place , and they produce their own music by the way , they are genius

SORRY long comment !
What a banger keep it up loved it so so much this was an awesome video man :D
Stray Kids ??!! Heck yeah !!
Their music is so unique, they are completely self producing. They write, compose, and produce their own songs. Their leader chan has a recording studio that they record in, it's very fun watching the behind the scenes videos that put out showing the process of in the recording studio and watching how technical they get with tweaking every tiny sound and emotion to how they want it
Their style of music works because it's exactly how *they* want.
Yesss pls react to more stray kids
Great choices for an initial look into them. I will say they LOVE their metaphors and commit to them. Just like how God’s menu were talking about everything cooking and creating flavor but it was all about how their creative and they one of a kind and will always make new things. I love how they play around with their words and meanings and images.
They just performed at Lallapalooza in Chicago, and they were amazing
Wooow I absolutely love the concept of debut, most popular and recent!! So fresh!!
Im a stay since 2019 and I love to see how fast they grow up and made their dreams come reality ❤
Thank U so much for reaction to straykids. We need more 😁
They write their own songs. 3 members (3racha - Bangchan,Changbin,Han) from start to finish of every song. and I think they have a lot of freedom overall.
You need to react to moooooore songs! They lyrics are insane and fire!!!
Please, react to Megaverse, Miroh, Victory Song... Listen to all albuns! 😅
I love watching people experience Felix’s voice for the first time ❤
You should listen to Maniac (has mt favorite line "cosplaying as what society deems as normal") and their new stuff, CHK CHK BOOM and Mountains.
Pls u should react to my fav songs "Maniac" (I really love this song, Felix w the deep voice in the chorus of this song is always stuck in my head especially the instrumental in this song), "Lalalala" (A hype and energetic song), "Topline"(the rap here is servingg)
If u're the type who likes more vocals I personally recommend "Mixtape:OH", "Cover Me", & "Secret Secret" for the sub units I recommend "Surfin" it's a summer song & it has 3 members (Lee Know, Changbin,Felix), "Gone Away" has more vocals, it also has 3 members ( Han, Seungmin, I.N) stray kids has a thing called sub units whenever they're dividing themselves to make some music(mostly a duo or a trio song), one example is "Red lights" which I also recommend to watch, the song Red lights only has 2 members in it which is Chan & Hyunjin. Though they have 3 major sub units such as
1. 3RACHA (pronounced as three-racha) - consisting of Chan(leader), Changbin, & Han. They're the rap & producing unit of Stray kids, Chan is more inclined in singing tho and Changbin & Han does the rapping, they're mostly the one responsible for producing, composing, arranging,& writing in 99% of their songs, they personally help & direct members in recording their songs (u can see them in the credits in mostly of their mvs) u can tell that they're really hardworking & puts a lot of effort in their music
2. DANCERACHA - the dance unit of the group consisting of Lee Know, Hyunjin(pronounced as yoon-jin), & Felix, responsible for helping and teaching other members on choreographies that they may be struggling with (mostly, Lee Know is the one who leads) and sometimes contributes choreographies for their songs
as well. The three of them is also considered as Visual Unit since they're really good looking and they already appeared in magazines and became ambassadors of some of the most famous clothing brands(if I remember correctly, Leeknow is Gucci, Felix is Louis Vuitton,& Hyunjin is Versace)
3. VOCALRACHA- vocal unit of the group consisting of Seungmin( simply pronounced as sung-min) & I.N(pronounced as eye-in) they're mostly the one who's singing in the group like the pre-chorus or the bridge of their songs. Both has really lovely vocals and they're the youngest members of the group (I.N is the most youngest born on 2001)
But these sub units doesn't mean that they're only good in that particular sort of things because all of them are ALL ROUNDERS, meaning they're good at everything such as singing, rapping,& dancing.
UNIQUE - best word to describe Stray Kids!
thank you for reacting to them in the right way by appreciating their talents and for doing your basic research before watching the 1st video. you might be the 1st person i have watch that has had the felix effect happen during district 9, most people get it during god's menu or later songs.
welcome to the chaotic realm of stray kids glad to have you here checking them out ❤
More stray kids reaction plss🎉🎉
