Your video convinced to more these same pipes for my 2009 M50. I drilled the stock ones out last week, but it’s just not the same sound. Plus these look so much better than the factory ones. Was there a big weight difference? I chose the black ones myself. Thank you.
It's not the best looking exhaust but i do think it's the best sounding for this bike. This exact one, that year and that color is the one i want. The next year it changed looks and i'm not a fan of it. The only thing i would change here is to get the exhaust in matt silk black. I have seen that before somewhere.
I agree in all your points:) The only thing I have chosen the chrome pipes as it looks more similar to the stock on the (MOT) vehicle inspection mandatory every 2nd year. The black is obviously not stock.
Szia! A Gigamachine szerezte be nekem de már pontos összegekre nem emlékszem. Olyan 700USD volt akkor a neten és kb annyinak megfelelő forintért hozták ők is plusz a quiet buffle bele meg a szerelés.

Not sure if channel still active, but I do have a question. It would seem that these pipes also fit the Suzuki Intruder 800 but can't seem to comfirm that or not anywhere
Ive been umming and areing about getting these pipes for a while now, definitely getting some after watching this now, have u got quiet baffles in them? If not are they annoyingly loud after a few hours straight? Did u put a power commander on also? Cheers
Hi there! Yep. The quiet baffles are installed. In the workshop I was told these baffles does not really reduce the volume but makes the tone deeper and softer. They are loud still but not extreme. However it also depends on your helmet. One of my helmets adds a kind of echo. I will try to put some noise reducing material in it. With the other better helmet a whole day tour is sill fun and I like every moment:) In the workshop they adjusted the software/mapping themselfs while analysing the exhaust gas with some kinda tool. They were confident that it will be the same as if I buy a power commander. If you have a Suzuki it's not that hard to manipulate the software. I also kept the O2 sensors.
I would not say it's a no go for beginners. However my theory is that it would be better to learn with a bike something like the Suzuki GS500 / Honda CB500 where you have more control on the bike with you footpegs and with your tight on the tank (the legs forward position is not helping). Also those have more control on the handlebars with your hands due the a more classic seating position. Anyhow if you are really into cruisers and with this bike I'm not going to chase you away of it. You will be able to handle it, just then are more optimal bikes for learning:)
@@manriquezapata570 Same for me. It says "VISIT YOUR LOCAL DEALER TO PURCHASE VANCE & HINES PRODUCTS". Mine was ordered by the workshop where it was put on. Don't know from where they ordered it.
Some says if you only modify the exhaust and not the air filter/airbox then nothing else is needed. However I had doubts asked to measure the exhaust gases that showed the bike started to run a bit lean (too few gas) and adjusted the fuel map a bit (don't know how exactly that was made but not with an aftermarket fuel map modifier e.g: PowerCommander).
Hi! I'm 179 perfectly fits for me. Before this I had a VS800 that was way smaller. I would recommend to sit on one but before you can check cycle-ergo.com/

@@BreakoutTom I have an 09 as well and I put the exact pipes on my M50 and kept setting off the FI red light code, It was worked on 4-5 times before I was told I would have to add a fuel control unit similar to a power commander. I had installed a Cobra Fuel Controller and after tweaking it for about a month it finally seems like its corrected. I hope I didn't just jinx myself.
Maybe you are alone but does it matter for you? If you like silent bikes go for it. It is not a Harley and doesn't want to be a Harley. It tries to be loud and it works:)
yea, I think you're the only one. it's not trying to be a harley, actually the suzuki M109 is THE original muscle cruiser. maybe harley is trying to be like suzuki?
Probably the best pipe comparison video on TH-cam.
I have a 2005 m50 with Vance & hines on it sounds great and gets complimented regularly
I’m currently looking at a 2007 m50 with this exact exhaust system but in matte black. Glad to know it sounds so freakin good!!
What a big difference with the Vance and Hines exhaust. Might have to look into getting some for my bike
Great comparison video, helps when buying. I would have liked to hear it under full throttle though.
Jóféle !!! Sokkal jobb lett a V&H-al mint előtte.
Really like the Vance and Hines
In my experience..loud pipes will save ur life in traffic...but Cops will also Notice n Stair at ur bike Alottt More..
Looks better sounds better
