This episode i see if i can fix this dented wing rather then replace on this salvage Hyundai i30 car from auction i also replace the lower wishbone and track rod end
That’s going to take hours and hours of filler work to put the wing right, be a lot cheaper to buy a new wing and get it painted.
Should watch 'Dent-remover' on here...some of the damage he repairs on body panels is amazing. 🙂

well done mark on repair on wing doing good job what you need as in tools is panel beater hammer an dolly you can get them might help but you done good mark with what you had in work shop not sure but didn’t you have dent puller the one you clue on an pull again well done like what your doing keep it.

Hat off for having a go, but sometimes you need to step back and think, is it not worth letting the experts sort the issue. On this occasion I’m guessing it took a fair few hours and then will be a load more hours in filling and sanding. If you had got a reputable PDR Guy in, you would hardly know that there had been a dent, equally the paintwork required would have been minimal. Your time could have been best spent sorting out the mechanicals. Take time out and look at what time it took and you will be amazed at how much this repair will have cost you. 🙈👍
think i would have put a new balljoint on it but the wing came out well mate well done

Aw Mark get down to a breakers yard and get a wing all that filler will vibrate and crack in the next few weeks You have built yourself up a nice reputation for doing things spot on over the last couple of years don't spoil it by doing a sub standard job which might come back and bite you on the bum
Brave effort on the wing. To me i think it won’t look as good as you think painted but I’m the first to admit I’m no expert! Use masking tape when you block back the wheel arch to help sharpen the line. It would have helped if you’d done it before you applied the filler. Plenty of bodywork you tubers showing how. My go to guy is Arthur Tussik.

It is not the worst repair I have seen fair play for giving it a go would not worry to much about the miles on the clock should do another 100k without a problem 👍👍

Oi listen here mark how long have I been saying to do this my god mark and look it’s straight ish not bad for a first attempt you get it at least it needed a bit of tlc with the dolly and hammer and it will be a good close but you will find that when you rub it down a bit you will find high spots and need to tap them down in order to get it flatter Pucka mark

Another awesome video, I’m from Peterborough, thought I recognised the plate! Does make me think where cars end up around the country
If I was you I’d get a new wing £43 eBay and get it sprayed. Cost you more in time trying to prep that wing. But was a good effort with the limited body work tools 👌🏻👍🏼

You've done a decent job on that wing Mark, having a go at something like this isn't easy but the satisfaction of repairing it over replacing is huge.
I'd have kept the wing bolted to the bracket when pulling out the dent as it would have kept some rigidity and stopped some of the flex. But once finished it'll look good. Keep up the good work mate 👍
