The older Mercedes parking sensors only work visually until you get very close to an object and the last two bars go from orange to red then they become audible as well. There is a TH-cam link by Mercland that explains it. The rear parking sensor visual bars are able to be seen in your rear vision mirror. Makes good sense if you think about it.
Hello Mark, great video the Mercedes B180 is looking awesome with the wheels done and a wash,my dad's Mokka has sensors and beeps for a while til it resets itself then it's fine,or use the parking sensor switch off/on inside the car.
My ml did same when I put a new sensor in still same had to be programmed like everything on a merc that's why or 1 of the reasons I sold mine hope you sort it mat
Are the sensors two wire (power wire and signal wire)? It this is the case the sensor may have power but if the signal wire is the bad you won't get a reading from the sensor.
Great video bud.Hope you finish this one soon

Faulty sensor speaker?
Check the fuses and the plugs going to the parking module, maybe dodgy connection, failing that may be faulty module.
I think it's the sensor ecu but I have a horrible feeling it's coded to the car.

You’ve a faulty sensor plug the scanner in and do a test it will tell you which one it is
Have you got parking assist switched on. Not sure merc got but most cars do have?
@@robertwilliams1147 Hi mate I’ll check that
