    This song came out when I was 10 and this song literally kept me away from drugs and the streets. This was a powerful song in the early 90s.

    This is in my top 10 hip hop songs ever. The sample usage is incredible. And Bill's verse is epic.

      Easily one of my top 10 hip hop songs as well. And with Bill, just the way he says “goddam homie…my mind’s playing tricks on me”, has so much emotion and self reflection.

    Guy in middle dissecting the song perfectly. Good job bro. I’m from Houston and grew up on getto boys. Scarface is considered your favorite rappers favorite rapper and to me he is top 3 EVER dead or alive

    Geto Boys are one of the best rap groups of all time. The Resurrection is their best album in my opinion.

    I know I'm late... But fyi scarface wrote this whole song..but he gave Willie d and Bushwick bill his second and 3rd verse.. so the ghetto boys had a single..big respect to scarface grate writing

    This was my introduction to “Gangsta Rap,” Geto Boys we’re old school from Houston and Scarface went on to have a decent solo career and so did Bushwick Bill. Check out Damn It Feels Good To Be A Gangster, Gangster of Love are great tunes as well.

    Excellent review (thanks to the guy in the middle) of one of my favorite songs of all time. And the only hip hop song my now 75 year old dad ever admitted to liking. But yeah the guy in the middle would probably be better served without the other guys - especially without the white guy on the left that didn't like the song. Still an excellent reaction and a like and a subscribe thanks to the insight of the guy in the middle. Keep it up.
