Above the Rim is the best soundtrack...EVER! So many fire tracks and artists, Tupac, Thug Life, Dogg Pound, Lady of Rage, SWV!
Thank you fellas… brings back memories
One of the greatest songs of all time in my opinion. Any genre! And I'm a bit more of a rock fan. It's funny how you guys didn't know this song. It was super popular and still is! Great song. Rest in peace Nate dogg.
Y'all Jammin'. I'm 51 years old and this is one of my favorite songs. Keep it sliding. This song will keep some folks in line and keep some people from slippin'.
Oh my heart. This song was turned up when I was teen. My friends and I had it memorized. Still do. Suggestion. Johnny Cash Gods Gonna Cut You Down
This whole album was 🔥 young fellas. Back in the mid 90s Warren G & the G funk era was tha shiznit lol
By the way u love Nate try "Area codes" song by Ludacris.
Nate is legendary on that chorus
R.i.p Nate Dog
And how could I forget RIP Nate Dogg 🙏..ES LBC!!!
Everyone who grew up in the 90's will hear "REGULATORS!!" And instinctively respond with "Mount Up", Lol!
90’s Rap was the best ever
I'm loving this seeing yall react to this song. I grew up in North LB during this time. Makes me smile so hard.
Nate Dogg was indeed Snoop’s cousin and Warren G is Dr. Dre’s step-bro. Just saw Snoop, Warren G and Ice Cube in concert a few months ago and they still got it. Killer show!
Holy memory lane!!! 😂
I was in high school when this came out... MTV actually had music videos and this one was 🔥🔥🔥 for it's day.
You guys are the coolest, I’m old and could still hang with you all. Keep putting out the videos.
Don't laugh at oldness. Y'all gonna be old, one day, too. Bless y'all's sweet hearts. Respect.
This song came out when I was a senior in highschool 1994. I knew the words today as well as back then. Still a banger! I listen to it at least once a week. It makes me feel 17 again
The whole Chicago was bumping this n the 90,s all day.
I was a little worried how some young dudes would react to this and love y’all see how timeless this track.
Just saw Warren G, Ice cube and Snoop last month. Shit was fucking awesome!!!
I'm 42, this song doesn't get old. Just like Luniz "I got 5 on it". Straight old school banger.
This is legit the first rap song I remember hearing almost 30 years ago
I’m glad y’all listened. I used to play this EVERY day on my way to school!
Nate Dogg is iconic. Music and me is one of the best CD ever made..
My favorite of all time. And the opening line is from the classic western “Young Guns”
It would be great to get a reaction to the song they sampled Micheal McDonald- I Keep Forgetting.
Regulate is literally my favorite hip-hop song of all time. I'm born and raised in LA, so maybe I'm biased, but I don't think I am when I say that little else beats the vibe of 90's hip-hop with Warren G and Nate Dogg doing an all-time classic that can't be replicated.
"Money Ain't A Thang" from Jermaine Dupri and Jay-Z. A young ass Jay-Z in this one, absolute classic track from the same era.
I remember before he passed nate was a hell of a artist when snoop and his boy did the tribute and his boy did his part my heart was so happy love seeing you guys go back and enjoy so much ❤️ ♥️ 💙 Indiana love and blessings
How the fuck have you not heard this
Above The Rim Soundtrack Is THE BEST EVER!!!
You guys are doing it. Almost 200k is undeniable! Focus your focus, regarding audience capture. Experimenting is necessary for progress but define yourselves with your own definitions. Much love as always.
Sampled "I Keep Forgetting" by Michael McDonald. Totally soulful & worth checking out.
Yeah that one is a classic 🔥 song too! I loved the old school new school combos they were doing in this era with GFunk
Like I have said before, I'm thankful for my parents' music, but the 80's/90's brought the music too! Every genre!!❤
From 90s-2000s Nate was considered the king of the hooks. Check area codes by ludacris
Shit....he still is king of hooks. Name anyone else who took the title from him since?
Hey Guys, please react to "I keep forgetting" by Michael McDonald who Warren G sample this song from. McDonald is the definition of "Blue Eye Soul."🔥
OMG this is so cute y’all are making me feel soooooo OLD😂I’m over here rapping the entire song 😅
Regulate is one of the best rap songs ever made, I remember when it first came out. Nate dogg was snoops cousin. He’s considered the king of hooks, always delivered his lines with a smooth singing falsetto. No one was really doin that back then. I do believe he’s the godfather of that in the rap world. RIP
1994 classic on Warren G’s regulate g funk era album self produced, And above the rim soundtrack Check out this DJ, do you see and so many ways. RIP Nathaniel Hale aka Nate Dogg🙏 gone but not forgotten, hooks ain’t been the same.
Dude is the hat is the comic relief of the pod I see. Y’all lack of hip hop knowledge is profound.
