Just ordered mine. Pretty geeked to get it in hand and installed. I have a question on implementation. On the top of the servo bracket, what about putting a really small pulley and then have the fair lead ran through the pulley and out the grill with a hook large enough to prevent it getting sucked into the hole. that way the winch should be usable both as recovery and also for body suckdown. Seem reasonable?
Do you know of any axels that aren’t crazy expensive? Cause I need some for my Trx4 because I’m making it into a crawler and I need wider axels but I can’t find any that aren’t expensive.
I only use nsdrc servos and the micro's just have a single center hole on each side instead of 2 on each side. Is there enough room on that add a 3rd hole in the center of the other 2 holes? Just to make it more universal
Just curious if there is any issue with the winch line sawing through the plastic of the cage with repeated use? If so adding metal shielding that bolts over the plastic would be a great additional part for longevity
Hi wdw, I’m about to order the Capra Micro Winch Mount kit with the reefs servo. The website doesn’t itemize the kit. I just want to make sure it comes with the stainless steel suckdown bracket. Also, does the tow hook 🪝 come with it?

I have that in my RYFT with the prototype 1Tenth RC front wing mount and RC4WD 1/8 winch. I also have a RYFT with a RC4WD 8274 front winch

The reefs mount in the center same as NSD. It will fit and work.

No evidence yet. Sure it could be possible but it would take a ton of use to even leave a mark

I use a zen 4200 mah battery that takes up the battery tray. Do you think it will clear it?
Mine went in but with some patience lol the fire wall is adjustable so I moved it back for more clearance
