I love that pretty much everyone agrees that Knocked Loose just keeps getting better and better.
It’s actually scary too. If “A Tear In The Fabric of Life” is that good, then who knows what they could actually do on their THIRD album? There’s no way on earth that they could go farther than they need to at this point.

@@bloodontoast8522 I think I personally enjoy ATITFOL over YWGBYST. The singles from the newest album are so fucking cute, but as a whole project, the ep is just so so so damn good.
Knocked Loose EP deserves a much deeper dive it’s got a runtim nearly as long as their first LP was, some insane samples, some callbacks to both LPs, and a heartbreaking lyrical story throughout. It may count as an EP according to Spotify and the band themselves but it’s a solid 22-minute release that deserves to be expanded upon in a further review imo

The story is heartbreaking until the dude digs up his girlfriends corpse and drags her home to have sex with the body lol I think that part kind of ruined the story with some unnecessary gross-out horror bullshit.
Pinkpanthress definitely delivered with her EP. Production was amazing, and although I felt like some tracks felt like unfinished songs, they’re all extremely catchy with good vocals. The last few tracks felt complete tho, they were amazing especially. (Reason, All my friends know, nineteen)

I was lucky enough to see Knocked Loose in NOLA the other night when they opened for Gojira. Absolutely killer. The pit during their set was absolutely insane.
I've seen them twice and they killed it both times. Sad I'm missing them open for Gojira, gnarly lineup

@@ghouly9535 They were playing in St. Petersburg tonight but the better show in my eyes was Slipknot/Killswitch Engage/Fever333/Code Orange in Tampa. Ended up getting stuck in traffic and missed CO but it’s whatever lmao. Might go to Rockville to see them but I’m not big on them anyways. I have yet to see Gojira or KL and I was supposed to see KL at Rebel Rock but we all know what happened with that…

Knocked Loose 10/10, best hardcore project of the year. Couldn’t have imagined them releasing something this good.
It's amazing I loved it, I can hear the influence of code orange in the instrumentals and the way the songs are layed out is similar to the band tool in the sense that the songs can go any direction, they don't really have a formula

@@3luew0rld77 Right! I totally agree. I don’t get this structural feel (lack of structure but deliberately through-written) from any bands besides Orchid and Me and Him Call It Us. Maybe other hardcore bands do it, but besides Gulch and Nails I mostly listen to 90s-00s skramz, not much hardcore. I can tell they put a lot of thought into the lack of structure, if that makes sense. Plus Bryan is sounds so sad, it’s unbelievable. His vocals have never been this intense. I’m sure others can describe it but I can’t. His consonants almost have an open vowel quality. Can’t get enough of this EP.
@@williamrobinson6059 yup, I mean I know tool and system of a down were like one of the first to do that style but they aren't exactly the level of heavy knocked loose brings to the table, code orange has weird sounds and cool things but their songs still have a structure to them, so yeah I don't really know much other bands this heavy that have like the no-structure technique
New Knocked Loose EP is probably their best release yet. Guitar tone is nastier, GRAMMY AWARD WINNING PRODUCER Will Putney killing it on production as always, the whole theme and writing is so crushing and well thought out. They definitely earned many times over to be opening up for Gojira right now.
That Pyrex Picasso Ep🔥🔥🔥 Benny said the whole thing was whipped up from scratch in one day back in 2018 which is why all the features are so close knit with each other.
Knocked Loose has easily EP of the year for me. I saw them in Dallas a couple weeks ago and they’re insane live. Them and Code Orange are carrying the future of metal rn imo

(respectfully I loved all their EP's but I respect any opinions or critiques). They really hit the nail on the head this time and found a musical direction that is absolutely phenomenal 👍

Knocked Loose is incredible
I want to recommend listeners to Laura Jan Grace's EP "At War With the Silverfish". I found it to be a very nice, short but well-done project that takes elements from a lot of Laura's influences while still channeling a bit of the Against Me! energy one would expect from their work. I enjoyed it a lot, especially Lolo 13.

Oh man, thank you so much for putting me on to SPY. Hearing such an unapologetically strong ACAB sentiment in some good noisy hardcore is absolutely cathartic. I grew up in the East Bay and it does me proud to see music like this coming out of my home turf.
