Her “YEAH!” ad-lib is very simple yet elevating. The music style paired with that gives her music a video gamey undertone along with the 2000s vibe.
YES! I was wondering if anyone else felt this way. I usually feel completely neutral about ad libs but for some reason, hers are consistently so endearing and add so much to the tracks whenever they pop up.

I love that you touched on the features because its hits what I was feeling perfectly, Pink is literally no 1 in her lane so to have people who are just average in their genres bring her down.

I think a few of them were label requests by the sound of them, Kelela’s is the only good one but it’s a little short and too nearly included on the track considering her style of vocal expression
You have to listen to the Vinyl Record Version of Bury Me, Kelela has an Extra verse in the beginning of the song. Not sure why they toned down her feature on the digital version.

Coming from a guy that listens primarily to Rap/Hip-Hop, she is one of my favorite artists. Her production is top tier and her vocal style/delivery/accent are extremely intoxicating
I liked the Central Cee feature. Their collab does feel a little forced but it also brought some early 2000s nostalgia with the popular singer, popular rapper collab

VF VOL II is one of my favourite electronic projects from last year
the central cee feat was so unnecessary lol kelela on the other hand was astounding

I actually agree with what he said about the Rema feature, when I first heard it I thought it was Destroy Lonely at first, not like Rema at all.
Overall tho, this is a really great album, a solid debut, this is my take and might be biased cause I am a fan but this feels kinda revolutionary, I feel like its gonna open the doors for more british pop acts to follow.

This album is fully a 10 for me. Even my least favourite song which is Nice to meet you, I still really enjoy the first section. It really does lose me when Central Cee appears because his voice is too monotonous to suit the song. But there is so many 10s in this album, I have to consider the whole album as a 10. Another life is currently my favourite song. It really transcends me and I don't mind Rema too much. True romance, Feelings and The aisle also are 10s while every other song except Boys a liar, Blue and Nice to meet you sitting at a very strong 9. Thank you Pinkpanthress for this amazing album

Great review, though, did Fantano not get that Ophelia is a direct reference to the character in Hamlet? Really enhances the track’s darkness.

I just discovered your channel and I am hooked! Would you consider reviewing Ren's "Sick Boi" Album? He does nearly all his own beats, vocals, composition, production and live music video direction. He's something truly new, unique, and has talent pouring out of his pores. He just made it to #1 album in the UK as an *independent* artist who a) has been in Canada undergoing treatment for autoimmune diseases for 9+ months and b) put on the most innovative and collaborative ARG to promote the album since he wasn't well enough to put on shows or do traditional promotion.

ophelia was def my favorite song from the album with that I adored the story telling. I felt as if the lyrics and beat was the catchiest I also agree "Reaching for a cookie sweet and I can't resist it" was just not needed.
true romance is one of the best songs i’ve heard in a while production wise. there’s something that makes it sound so authentically of the time it’s trying to replicate and i love the specific emotion she conveys.
It is amazing. Its my second favorite on the album

it's definitely a decent follow up to the mixtape. but i feel like the mixtape had way more unique sounds and instrumentals with the stop and start, fast paced garage drums blended with her high pitch vocals. also feel like the content matter was more interesting on that mixtape, although very straightforward and casual. this album felt a bit more pop oriented and kind of diminished what made her music so special imo

How is anybody underestimating BNYX' versatility at this point? Like yeah he's more known for his rage/supertrap production. But he did produce for Teezo, Foushee, Zack Fox, Earl Sweatshirt, and ThxSoMch this year. He really is the new Metro.
I just bought this album last week. For some reason "Nice To See You" doesn't even have the Central Cee rap part in it. The song clocks in at 2:03. That's my only complaint with her music...the songs are too damn short. I wanna simmer in the vibe for much longer, but she only has one verse, a chorus, a bridge, a chorus and the song is over. I wish there was an edit that had both the original "Boy's A Liar" and "Boy's A Liar Part 2 (Ice Spice's verse replaces Pink Pantheress' 2nd verse...why not have both?)" That would be perfect.

She has such a great sound. Hopefully her more upbeat stuff starts to have an impact on mainstream pop. Would like to see more energetic songs and dnb influence in the mainstream.

First listen had me hooked but I honestly feel like the ending falls off for a bit, might have to relisten a third time
I will say I think her mixtape is better. This is a good album, but there are only like a couple, maybe three songs I go back to (not counting the singles, those were great as well). Blue is my favorite.

This album was 🔥 it definitely delivered especially production wise she’s here to stay
I liked it but not as much as you. No stand out tracks, just a nice, consistent record of nice tracks. Most of the features sound completely out of place to me.
i gave it a 6 after first listen but now that you uploaded the review i agree, it's definitely 2 points higher.
I'm really enjoying the album, the first 4 songs in particular are amazing, I'm having to stop myself just looping them over and over again. But yeah, I dunno who Central Cee is and I hope I never hear him again, I skip that song every time now.

Without a few of the features, this album could genuinely be one of the best of this year. Central Cee's verse is abysmal which is a shame because the instrumental is fantastic.

This was a lot more positive than I expected. I only came out of this album with a couple liked songs, having rolled my eyes at both the Cee and Rema features, but maybe I'll try it again.

I thought this album was ok she was smart to keep it short because she has a pretty limited range when it comes to her singing. The production is pretty great though. 8 seems a bit high. Feeling more of a 6-7.
