Een frilandel speciaal moet verdrinken in de saus.dan slok je hem in 2 happen zo naar binnen 😅
The sausage shown at 21:11 is called a 'frikandel' and is eaten throughout the Netherlands not just in Amsterdam.
You can eat it with mustard, mayonaise, ketchup or some other stuff you want. You can also put the sausage on a slice of bread with for example mayonaise.
In Germany you also have a frikandel but that is a meat ball
The cheese you bought are sliced cheese and is usually put on a slice of bread for breakfast or lunch. Beemster isn't the same as Gouda cheese as only cheese made in Gouda region can have the name Gouda cheese.
This cheese Beemster is made in the Beemster region and jong belegen means it hasn't matured that much.
You have different variaties: jong belegen, belegen, extra belegen and oud (old)
The cheese in the tube Danish Chef is the spice variant (green) you also have the plain one which is yellow and we usually use these as filling in Lays bugles.
The starbuck iced coffee is 220 ml.

The Fernandes soft drinks are from Suriname. Suriname is a former Dutch colony so a lot of people with roots in Suriname live in The Netherlands and with those people Fernandes came to The Netherlands.
And no, the cheese isn't Gouda. Beemster is an area in the north west of The Netherlands while Gouda is in the center/west. Every area makes cheese with a slightly different taste due to another type of soil and therefor other ratios of minerals in the grass and herbs the cows eat.

I recommend the dutch Mac Donald’s because in the Netherlands the Mac is way more focused on hygiene and the food is actually fresh made in the kitchen there stay safe and good luck 😂😂

Budget travel tip : Stay out of the capital cities ! So instead of going to Amsterdam , go to Haarlem ( thats like 20 mins from Amsterdam by train ) and save up to 25-35% on accomodation and restaurants .

@@KalaniandSav Still very much a part of Amsterdam ;) . There's a reason the trainstation is called "Amsterdam - Sloterdijk" ;) . Sloterdijk, due to being one of the bigger train stations on which trains from Schiphol stop at, is about as touristy as it can get outside the centre-ring of the historical part of Amsterdam...

You need to get your fries with mayonnaise (patat met; "fries with"), and you need mustard for your kroket. I said it was like soup too when I first had it long long ago lol! Gouda cheese is Gouda (it's just pronounced differently); Gouda is a city in the Netherlands. Jong means young and oud means old in Dutch; i.e. aged vs jong cheeses.

11:06 I wonder if things taste less sweet there. We have coke, sprite, and Gatorade in South Korea but it has half the sugar than it would in the United States.
very fun to watch you eating dutch food products :). I dont know if you figured it out already, but about the cheese. The 'jong belegen' means the age of the cheese. Jong=Young, Jong Belegen=Young Laid, Belegen=Laid and Oud=old (i know, it sounds a bit weird in English). But mostly is the oldest the cheese the more flavour it has. The brand of the cheese was Beemster, its like Gouda but from another region/city.
Instead of a frikandel (the sausage) ask for a viandel. It's similar, but has a cruncy crust.

Gas referers to co2 which makes drinks fizzy. Most of Europe use fruit to flavour candy as opposed to artificial flavourings . The coffee would have said total carbs of which sugars. Helps break down nutritional info.

Hahah the "sausage bread" is a cheese bread. The one you looked at with Google Translate was the one with meat but this is a different one. And maybe try soms Dutch snacks. Gouda is named after the city Gouda in the Netherlands. That's why it tastes like Beemster wich is the city Beemster.

Just wait until you go to a restaurant. You have to tell them you want ice in your drink because they don’t use ice with drinks. Especially in London. Unless things have changed you will only get 2 ice cubes so you might tell them you want a glass full of ice.

You can make a cheesesoufflé yourself, but it is INCREDIBLY messy (I have celiac disease so I have to make them myself). If you are planning on spending about an extra 30 minutes to possibly an hour cleaning up the mess from just making the cheese soufflés (and not even baking them) you can do it, but otherwise, meh, some things are best done on a commercial basis only because of how easier it is :P .
