Wunderschöne und lebhafte Interpretation dieser perfekt komponierten Klaviersonate im gut analysierten Tempo mit klarem doch warmherzigem Anschlag und mit möglichst effektiver Dynamik. Der zweite Satz klingt besonders schön und echt melodisch. Im Kontrast klingt der dritte Satz echt lebhaft und auch überzeugend. Zweifellos die beste Kombination der höchsten Technik und der angeborenen Lyrik!

Immaculate with almost meticulous perfection is Mme de Larrocha's play, which I much admire, and yet at the same time I wish she'd make a little mistake to make it sound a bit less mechanical. I guess it shows, that "perfect" is, at least for me, not always the best. May I be forgiven for stating my honest opinion and the urge to express it ~ ach . . .
this is infinitely better than her remake on RCA; she waited too long to do a complete Mozart cycle, bc those later versions sound rather uninspired (and the sound on most of them is awful, on both the concertos and sonatas)
