个人觉得喜忧参半。新一代的中国青年，很多都不能对周遭的世界和自己身处的国家有一个全面的认知和客观的判断，这都是拜独裁体制和极其强大的言论和思想控制所致，并非他们的错，但这是一个必须要面对的问题。即便今日在大陆地区举行公投来决定是否坚持现行体制，恐怕更多的人出于利益、出于恐惧或出于愚昧，还是会把这一票投向伟大正确光荣的红色政权，靠中国自身至少在短时间内很难看到有重大变化的可能；另一方面，在总加速师的带领下，中共偏离了邓小平时代所制定的发展路线和外交方针，披着羊皮的狼越来越锋芒毕露，因经济制度改革所取得的巨大成功，完全将政治制度改革的重要性和紧迫性抛诸脑后，内部和外部的一系列矛盾近些年来愈演愈烈，一副要与西方世界决裂的态势；不知感恩，恃强凌弱，捆绑国家并挟持人民以威胁天下，激发秉持普世价值的全世界各国越来越团结一致以压制其嚣张气焰，限制其继续膨胀。这些都是积极的信号。我更希望看到的是，中共内部有人可以揭竿而起力挽狂澜，通过一两代领导人，真正地实现政治体制的转变，真正地融入世界大家庭。

Unfortunately, the once anti-communism Kuomintang has become a pro-CCP party; KMT abuses the freedom of speech Taiwan gives them, and uses it to be a mouthpiece for China. So you have one party that wants the 'China Unification', but on the other hand, the DPP (independence-leaning) who doesn't (and yes, it represents the majority of people in Taiwan) - while one is trying to build Taiwan up, the other one is doing everything it can to sabotage - of course, we're gonna see some fists flying.

How is living in Holland for a Chinese person? Most Chinese people I know find it hard because they cannot truly connect with the locals. They still go to China every holiday and I think they feel uncomfortable here, maybe that's also because Dutch people don't put a lot
of effort in understanding Chinese culture.

I feel improper to celebrate the speed-uplism because this is lack of humanity. A lot pf people in China may lost their job or even their life in this crazy process, but none of them is deserved to suffer. I hope the Human Right and Democracy workers and volunteers can think more about those innnocent people living in China, we should focus more on every individual's right instead of encouraging sacrifice for the majority. One gentleman in this video said we should find a way to try to shorten the dark time after CCP's fall, that is exactly what everyone should care. We can not make China a better country if we are as cruel and inhumane as the CCP.

Such an interesting question. We all know that the manufacturing are moving out of China. That their education system is being reformed into political science class, where they will 学习。
Not future proofing unlike Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan did. That is what they used their money on from their boom. China have not used them as those, or even Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
The question of the party's legitimacy is something that I can use in my bachelor's thesis. If I can find enough scholarly support for it.

The truth is that nowadays the most of Chinese like me don’t know what difference between democracy and the way ccp rules. People in China may know something worry with the ccp but can’t do anything about it. All they gonna say is “whatever, None of my business ” Although I don’t like the ccp, I have no idea what’s good for democracy or what democracy will brings to me. The most effective way to promote the democracy in China is arouse their awareness of democracy not just diss the ccp.
