How are the bass on them without a subwoofer ?
To be honest im a Dj planing to host small partys in parks in the summer. And i need a pair of speakers with clear good sound but that also have some kick/bass in them. Not sure if i will go for Yamaha or the Mackie DRM215 15''

I have the Yamaha 600i PA system and just bought two of those dxr15...im praying to god that I can use my Yamaha monitor to hook them up that way so I have four speakers going lol
at one point the screws on the edge of the low membrane will weaken and will be heard broken, no problem you will tighten them again and that's it...

@@aaaabilityappliancerepair9242 I'd like to hear the DZR15's as well but I don't think I'll ever buy them because they are over 50 lbs. That's typically my threshold for buying speakers that sit on poles. Now if I ever decide to buy a bunch of DXS15XLF's I might change my tune as I believe the DZR15 stacks nicely right on the DXS15XLF subs. But I think you'd have to have 3 subs in each stack to get the 15" up high enough.. I need more speakers to play with! lol

I have a room about 700 square feet and 10 feet high. I need karaoke, meeting, small band... for about 50 people. I have mixer presonus 16.0.2. I want to buy 2 rcf Evox j8 or 2 Yamaha DXR15 mkii (no sub). Can you give me the advice (with one better for the vocal singing. The j8 and the dxr are same price $900.00). Thank you very much!
I personally would buy the Yamaha DXR15MKII's. As to not make this comment super long I'd recommend watching my column array videos as they explain my journey with column arrays and how I came to not like them. I will also note I tried to rent my JMIX8 to an acoustic show one time and they tried it out in the shop and didn't like it. The high crossover point between the top cabinet and the sub make it so that some of the vocals come through the sub. They did not like the separation of the singers vocals being split between the top cabinet and the sub.

Thank you very much for your help me! I try to listen some your videos about the column speaker but my English is not good so I understand about 70%. (I am Vietnamese. Now I live in North Carolina). I will buy the DXR15 mkii and play indoor. And use the sub more for outdoor.
How loud are the dxr15s, how many people can i do with just one dxr15 (house party)
With two and two subs I was doing live sound every Wednesday this summer for full bands at a bike night. They get loud and can handle it. These were outdoor shows.
