Seems to me that between almost Styx and Don Felder you have examples of total opposite .. two guys who benefited from the guy who founded a great band and several of his songs were definitely the foundation of the band distancing themselves from the one who brought them to the dance vs a guy who was invited to the dance contributed major music to the originators of that great band and was cast off and basically minimized for wanting credit for his part of the band... I love the music but the egotistical selfishness and denial of truths really sucks... sorry for the negativity but I really haven't gotten over Sammys interview with a smug John Mellencamp saying he hated his songs and made him sick to go on stage to play them... I just listen to the songs now differently
