How to Play Firesong and Sunspeaker | MTG Alpha EDH

With Firesong and Sunspeaker you can turn all of your damage dealt by red spells into lifegain. Maximize the amount of damage you can deal to multiple targets to increase your lifegain in a single turn. This deck can gain more life than a lifegain deck can. Keep the board clear by dealing damage to multiple creatures and win with some infinite combos.

You made a mistake in some of your examples of how Firesong and Sunspeaker interact with Red & White burn/lifegain spells. Specifically, for Sacred Fire and Warleader's Helix/Foundry Helix. You seem to be multiplying the damage by 3 and lifegain by 2, when the damage should actually be +6 due to the double commander triggers eg Sacred Fire would deal a total of 8 (not 6) damage and gain 4 life and Warleader's Helix would deal a total 10 (not 12) damage and gain 8 life.

Can u be more precision? How it exactly works? I thought that with sacred fire u only do 4 dmg and gain 4 life
2 dmg and for life link on spell u gain 2 health
And health for 2 and with that deal 2 dmg
It’s 4 dmg and 4 heal combo

@@hubertcurlej9477 Sure. You cast Sacred Fire on a target while you control Firesong and Sunspeaker. Sacred Fire resolves, dealing 2 damage BUT you gain two instances of 2 life - 2 life from the resolution of the spell and 2 life from lifelink (because it's a red instant). Firesong and Sunspeaker's 2nd ability triggers twice, because Sacred Fire is a white instant that caused you to gain life. This means you get to deal 3 damage to target creature or player twice. So you get 2 damage from Sacred Fire, 3 Damage from FS&SS, and another 3 Damage from FS&SS. 2+3+3 = 8 damage.
