Awesome, this lyrics flows with the tempo almost feels naturally nostalgic. Reminds me of the time when i saw both the games ending stories as well as the Movie adaptation, words almost brings you to tears of you experienced the Game. Again remarkable work, hope you go far with your work
There are some songs that, when remixed into a rock format, become an entirely new thrill of their own, but for me personally, Memories of You is not one of them simply because it is a tearjerker song. I actually prefer your old version which I still vividly remember bawling my eyes out to. However, if there is one improvement that this cover has, it would be without a doubt the vocals. You have gained plenty of confidence and skill in your singing since then, Nicki, and it will be a pleasure to see how you continue to develop your talent.
I know I'm really late, but I need to comment anyway because wow. You're voice is beautiful, and I personally believe that you were *meant* to sing this song. You can hit the same speed that the original singer did in the Japanese vocals and I love it! I also appreciate how the lyrics are kept pretty close to the direct translation of the Japanese version. Not that it would matter all that much, but doing it this way makes it a bit trickier to sing considering directly translated Japanese is pretty awkward lmao. Again, this cover was absolutely fantastic! Great job, and keep it up.
