Hello again. Been a while, huh?
Since the Acapella, anyway. I apologize for the delay. As I mentioned in previous descriptions, I had to take over this project from the animator after her living situation changed. It was a pretty big undertaking, being so sudden... but I'm happy with how it turned out, given the circumstances. Sorry if you were looking forward to the animation- trust me, so was I! But these things happen sometimes, and there ain't much I can do about it. Sorry, again.
As far as the cover itself, though...
Today is March 20th- the final day in Persona 5. The day that Akira says his goodbyes... the day it all ends. Or the day it *begins again*, if you've been reading my fic!
Yep! I'm still at it. I've added another 30k words since the Acapella, with another thirty thousand on the way! New chapter should be up sometime this month or next, so it's right around the corner! (archiveofourow...)
I... really love writing. Immersing myself in that world, spinning threads and plotlines, putting pen to paper... It's all been so much fun. I think I'll be spending a lot more of my life on it, weird as that sounds. I really like it, so I hope you like it too~!
The next cover will be another 'Life Will Change' tie-in, so give the fic a read if you get the chance! I'd really appreciate you all giving it a shot. Let me know what you think!

My anthem for almost a year. Our Light is definitely on my mind a lot of the time and its lyrics always help me push forward even when I feel hopeless.
For me it was Colors Flying High. Although the virus came and stopped me basically. I also realized some things I just didnt like about Persona and fell out of it. Now more into SMT

I know that the internet is not a place to speak your feelings openly, when I hear him sing, I can almost sing the same, and it reminds of my grandmother, I lost her at thirteen. I have been waiting for this since November, and it did not disappoint.
Have been playing Persona 5 Royal for three years, this song never stops hitting me hard. Helping to remind me that are others out there that suffer from the same pain day after day. Singing along with both the JP and ENG version of this song tends to fill me with happiness. In all honesty, Our Light is the most heartwarming song I've heard in my 18 years of gaming and I thank you from the bottom of my heart in making the ENG version of this already heartwarming song

Six months ago, when you uploaded the Acapella, I said that I would listen to this once I beat Royal. Last night, around 4am PST, I finally beat Royal's 3rd semester for the first time, after having to wait 2 months for PS4 repairs.
Hearing this song at the end of the game made me tear up, I'm not gonna lie. Having finally heard your take on the song, I can say with confidence that I prefer this version to the original. Your voice works amazingly for this song, and the lyrics hit even harder in English. Amazing work, as always, Can't wait to see what else you have in store.
Damn, this gives a different type of kick from the acapella version...
And it still has that same impact, so congratulations, this is wonderful work! ✨
I like to think that the PT sit at Leblanc and discuss how they've all been once a year on the day Akira left. I know that's cringey but I think the best ending is one where they may live further apart but still meet up where this whole story started, always friends.
I definitely think they would, but I also think Akira and Sumire would do their best to hang out with Akechi too (seeing as it's strongly hinted he's alive)
They do meet again in dancing in starlight and strikers, and in the future too.

@@Jackattack359 Strikers was made during the same time as the development of Royal which means that they couldn't add Kasumi and Akechi. It's canon yes but to the vanilla Persona 5. I like to think that it's canon to royal but since Kasumi did leave off to do her own thing and Maruki finally let go
Yeah, it would be cool that they are in a certain "distance" living they own lifes, except for Sumire cause i really pray that she's now married with Joker.

You know... No matter how much this applies to Persona 5 Royal, I can also see it being sung at the end of The Answer by SEES, as they mourn the protagonist's death after learning about their sacrifice to create the Seal, and swearing to live for their memory.

That art of Sumire, looking to the sky... As someone who romanced her and thinks she's just awesome, I love how much Our Light applies to her and her sister. It works for all the Phantom Thieves, who now walk toward their unknown destinies after shedding blood, sweat, and tears, but it just is so poignant with her there. Amazing cover!
I friended everyone except her on my first playthrough. I just thought she's great as the canon love interest for joker.(in my playthrough anyway)

My introduction to P5 was through Royal, I was told she was romanceable, so I friended everyone else (even Ann and Takemi, two of my favorites), just to get her.

I knew what I was getting myself into before I started Royal (as in, she's a bit more limited in terms of the romance route for various reasons) but as soon as I met her in game, I was forever charmed. She's also just awesome. Her Persona awakening had me in tears.

The added music really changes the atmosphere a bit. Where the accapella version felt more like an elegy, there's a serenity in this one. Almost like there's hope in accepting the truth and moving on.
