I’m glad I can help in any way! And I believe he went through a different boot camp for sales engineering. When I went through Course careers they only offered technology sales, but now I think they offer another course but it’s not sales engineering tho…. Hopefully one day they will 😅

The final exam is a little tough but going over your notes will help u a lot. But as far as the actual work load, it’s straight forward. You read 3 books and you have lots of slides to watch. It really prepared me for my job.

I'm in state gov now. I make decent money, but it's too hard for us a minorities to move up. I'm tired of struggling with no light at the end of the tunnel. I'm def doing this bootcamp. @@illegitimategame hi there to be honest you definitely have to study and read the books that they tell you to read. It is a challenging course but you can do it. I have been working so I have not started to put in job applications yet. I am reviewing some of the things in the course which you will need for your interview process.

My company is doing 2 weeks of training as well for an SDR role. I think it's between 2 weeks and a month depending on the company.
So SDR is the same as Tech Sales? Or is SDR a role under the Tech Sales category?

Hey Cyrus. Love what you doing bro. I’ve been thinking about moving into tech. If I may ask, have you hear of Vendition boot camp? If so what is your opinion on it. Im trying decide between that or Course Careers.
I’ve tried vendition back in February of 2021 and at the time they were offering a catalog of remote jobs. The 2 I was presented with was Worklytics - an employee management firm. And Airtable, I went with Worklytics (and I never heard back), then when i tried to pivot to Airtable they stopped hiring for the role. (Airtable ended up having a layoff later on in 2022, so maybe dodged a bullet?)
Recently when I reached out to the recruiter I last worked with they said “they didn’t have any roles up my alley” and they also had a small layoff.
So speaking from my own experience I would go with Course Careers.
Me too I keep going back and forth between the two I can't decide which one I am going to do

I was going between the two as well. I chose Course Careers! Course Careers curriculum compared to Vendition is better. The amount of information they give you to succeed in Tech Sales is more than Vendition. Also, my deciding factor was when I was watching the testimonials from Vendition students; it felt commercial; when I watched testimonials from Course Careers students, it felt natural to me, like they didn’t have music in the background or any editing.

Your background doesn’t matter all that much. I have a background in poetry, my friends Malachi a deportation officer, Tiffini healthcare, Emanuel worked at a barbecue place and we all did the sales engineering course and all make above 6 figures. In under a year 🤷🏾♂️
Plenty of similar stories for the tech sales bootcamp and other roles as well.
These bootcamps give you the training, education and help that you need. So a tech specific degree helps, but is unnecessary. As long as you do your part and the better you do your part, the faster they can help you break into tech.

If you are not in the state's how do you join the course and how do you get job afterwards.
You can take the course but you would have to get a job in your country. It’s really just for people in the US and Canada. Best of luck
