  • Dylan makes $120,000 from his entry level job in tech sales! He watched me on social media discuss how you can break into tech by doing a tech bootcamp, he signed up for 2 that I recommend and just one week after completing his program, he landed his current role.
From College Dropout To $120k Tech Career (At 20 Years Old!)

Tech companies are standard 9-5 schedules.
But many are 10-4 (like the ones I’ve worked for). They’re very big on mental health (some give you paid mental health days off) and they’re huge on caring about their diversity and people. I could keep going in but you get the point.
These aren’t jobs to kick your feet up and relax, but these are the best culture friendly companies to work at. It’s standard for tech companies to be fun, relaxing and caring

Hey, Careerist is still a decent bootcamp. People are still getting jobs through them and many are enjoying their experience. Unfortunately drama and gossip has been overshadowing the point of the bootcamp.
A few things they’ve definitely dropped the ball on recently. They have been accepting too many students in most of their cohorts at a time. So many of the classes have been overcrowded. They haven’t added enough staff to support EVERY student. I’m not the kind of student that needs extra guidance. But some are and not everyone has gotten the support they want.
Other than that. The program is still good. They had bad reviews, people complaining on Reddit and all of that before I did the bootcamp, during, and even when all my friends did it. They’ve been making efforts to adjust the class sizes, add more staff, etc. But I’m waiting until Feb to determine if I should continue promoting them hard again!
