Can that party really not come up with new faces that are not excuses for the last govt? Same old faces, no lessons learned, just opportunists looking to push their own hairbrained schemes without hindrance of colleagues.
@@alanglasgowbassistReform voters, are only flies on the wall. The fight is on the centre. There is bigger fish to fry than Reform. Talk centre-right, govern centre-right. Labour will mess up, Reform voters will follow, Reform will collapse.

The fire was started by an electrical fault in a refrigerator on the fourth floor. That's what's to blame KCTMO owned and manged the building. looking at the national government for a culprit is ridiculous
The Party must reform itself just as it did in 1970s and 2000s. Complete change of leadership. And the key is to return back to the people and ditch liberal consensus. They must not be centre right version of LibDems. Of what use are the Conservatives when they are not conservative?
It might be all over for the Tories for ever. Apart from Johnson's fake election success, which collapsed very quickly, the Tories haven't had a substantial majority for over 35 years.
Basically everything they have been since the Liberal Unionists joined in 1920' and the Conservatives moved towards Liberalist economics in the late 19th century: why?
The Grenfell report just reminds me of an episode of "Foyle's War" where in the midst of fighting evil men they uncover a circle of people exploiting the system and a racket to ripoff people at the cost of lives.
I was curious to find out whether the Telegraph would admit that deregulation was an important part of what went wrong at Grenfell, and I appreciate your honesty in admitting that it was. The Tory belief in deregulation was ideological, as Camilla pointed out Health and Safety regulations used to be mocked by the Tories. There is no reason why the Tories have to be ideologically committed to deregulation, although for the time being it does not look like they are in the mood to change just yet.
Poor Sweti , she was never liked , onstage , in the wings or even below stairs . I loved when she was frontbench the doing she gave her face getting ready to answer a critical question , she was like a bulldog chewing a wasp .
Badenough has no place in the running. Probably needs a 'unknown' with no baggage. So they are setting up an interim leader in reality. Hopefully replaced in a couple of years.
13.18 Camilla says “[Angela Rayner and Rachel Reeves] are looking very glum”… one needs to understand the context: the main event of the afternoon was not PMQs but the statements on the Grenfell Tower fire immediately after PMQs. Rayner and Reeves were looking appropriately sombre. This was NOT a “knockabout” PMQs. I could be more critical of Tominey for ignoring the appropriate context in favour of political point-scoring, but I believe in learning to disagree agreeably!
Wow I'm shocked grenfell has even bin talked about I thought thay would sweep that under the rug (not to say it's not gonna be basically sweeped under the rug eneyway)

Was that comment supposed to say ‘faeces’ rather than ‘faces’? Either way I suppose it works….
I agree. I don’t think any of these “hopefuls” will win back any Reform voters 😂

Great to see these appalling Tories finally facing political oblivion, 14 years too late. Patel's first who's next ?
Priti was always a non starter : don't forget the report on her bullying that BORIS just shelved :
It Is The Unforgettable Report
stop calling Johnson by his first name. It sounds like he was the jolly nice chap from next door. Nope he's a cold blooded egomaniac..
Whoever is Leader I would like to see Rishi Sunak kept in shadow cabinet as shadow foreign secretary he is too talented to be on back benches
Patel told the Public to inform on their fellow Citizens During the so Called Panasonic Enough Said
But... what could possibly have happened after 2010 that made this more likely? What's the missing piece of the puzzle 😡

It was deregulation to reduce costs by the conservatives that led to the BSE epidemic - fact

Yes, and on average, I'd imagine they're far more intelligent than anyone who doesn't.
Not really. They all answer to the WEF.
This country is crying out for a strong leader and there is not one on the political landscape .... The British people deserve better.
Good grief, go on with yourself and your Adolf-daddy fantasies.

No

Labour is to blame for Grenfell. Since the towers were built during their reign, therefore THEY are to blame.

It was built under a labour government and labour council.
Politicians don’t design, inspect or approve buildings.
