I remember being hyped for this game back in 2011-2012 and they announced it would come to ps4 at E3 2014. Too little too late for me.
far too late, fk this trash lmao
Will it ever reach a console in the English version?
@@SylkaChan there is a chance it will be on PS5 if it does well.
@@RiskyWiskyHD same i was thinking they will come in us within 2 years. coming in 2019 is too fucking late cuz i grown up and have shit to do.
I was hyped for this game in 2008 when the 1st trailers came out, it actually looked like it was gonna be a true Kingdom Under Fire game like The Crusaders was, just a good ole fashioned hack and slash rts with rpg elements, it was supposed to release in 2009 but they just kept pushing the years back and changing everything. Checkout the trailer it even has heavy metal music reminiscent of Kingdom Under Fire: The Crusaders: th-cam.com/video/PnV_0QPbtzU/w-d-xo.html
I remember being excited like 10 years ago when I thought we were getting a traditional sequel and not an mmo
At least they released the old games on steam. Hero's and Crusaders will always have a special place in my heart.
You seem to focus to much on speaking like a gay fart instead of actually getting some brain thinking over the game
feels bad man
I remember being hyped about this game in 8th grade. I'm 22 years old now. You do the math :)
@@Surteronarto BRUH LMAOOAOA
When a $30 Buy 2 Play MMO is considered "expensive", no wonder why developers are making f2p cash grabs.
Yeah no kidding, single player games that are a decade old still go for 50 bucks, how is this bad?
Well would you pay $30 for this game as it is now?

Blade and Soul disappointed me so much. I love the combat system, but the damn ping was atrocious, no matter what server I played on
@@mickh4256 they need to make that switch to unreal engine 4
@@mickh4256 right with you on that, i loved the game all the way till 45 then the grind became unbarable, not to mention when the game forced you to pvp to progress, im not a fan of pvp with 180 ms, no thanks. Cant wait for the ue4 upgrade tho, maybe then it wont run like absolute dogshit. I dont wanna give up on the game yet.
@@Valliance1 I'd like Justice Online to get a western release as well. From what I've seen from it, the combat would go really well with fans of BDO and BnS
@@mickh4256 im waiting for Lost ark, playing the russian server right now.
8-9 years for a western release LMAO
It's like they only release these games here when they're actually dying and the devs woud've been fired but they managed to convince the higher ups that they can squeeze a bit more money out with a western release. Just so that they have a job for another year, so that they can in the meantime look for another employer, which they all have found once the game release and which is why there is no more support after release.
I think this is another money grab
there is quite a lot of support for it
Have to do what you can to survive I guess...
So it appears that the origins creators sold it after it died. The new owners and making tweaks from what I understand. But yes it’s probably still a cash grab.
@AquaJetEmpoleon Yeah, doing fine, especially when their governments decided to just lock off the countries from the outside world, therefore ruining their chances for greatness.
@AquaJetEmpoleon I mean.. They did go on to actively and intentionally destroy nearly all traces of their own culture tho so I'm not sure "kept" is an accurate word here..
remember when this game series was a RTS where you commanded large squadrons of diverse units that you could upgrade and alter over the course of the campaign and it was fanatastic
even pepperridge farms has a hard time remembering that
That was the absolute magic of the game for me. I remember upgrading my crappy peasants to warriors, then to knights and then deciding to take the paladin route. All at the time where my archer squadron have received zero upgrade points lol
Played this game while it was in SEA closed beta. The fact that it took 7 years just to release in the West is insane...
I tried this, my problem was it didn't feel like Kingdom Under Fire, it felt like any other generic Korean MMO.
@Anton Babani Developing a *good* MMORPG costs millions, sometimes even hundreds of millions. You can't expect every MMO to be topclass when it's a *HUGE* risk to develop for big companies and out right impossible for most smaller studios.
@Anton Babani Ofcourse Runscape didnt cost that much, it was developed in 2001 lol. Have you seen how that game looks? All you need for Runescape is programmers. There were no sound engineers, no technical engineers, no artists, no 3D modeler, no marketing to manage, no localization, no animators, etc.
The graphics and animation of runescape are simple enough that a small team can do that, even a complete modelling noob can learn how to model runescape assets in a week. And it wasn't that much harder back in the day.
As of 2018, Runescape reached a revenue of 1 Billion. You can't tell me they didn't put millions into the game :)
Edit 1: Runescape 1 already introduced a monthly membership. They used that to fund the development of Runescape 2, which in return netted enough income to fund the development of Runescape 3 aka Runescape. They also didn't had the time/funds to develop the Runescape you probably refer to without having a lot of money.
Exactly
@@acedia4454 I think the real question is "Why MMO?" This series was swept up in the MMO hype like every other brand. Even though they tend to flop. Most people don't actually want their favorite games made into MMO's, I think a lot of people THINK it sounds good. Till they realize how unrealistic it actually is. These games are always shallow and inferior versions of their original concept. I bet people would have been a lot happier with the old style of the game only with a multiplayer battle system implemented.
@@acedia4454 The problem is that nobody wants another MMO, we want the crusaders and heroes back.
Did they literally call the field where you kill wolves for their teeth "Wolf Teeth Field"? Gee, at least they're not bullshitting you I guess, lol.
Sounds like something you hear from a Chinese MMORPG after it's English translation.
man, this game looks so different compared to the old ones like KuF: the Crusaders
Classics
That game was epic
Yeah that let me down crusader's garbage yo
"Got ourselves a new piece of armor, does it visually change how my character looks?... It does not"
So you're saying its a *bad* game then? Much akin to BDO?
its not a completely bad game without armor progression, but it sure aint getting good points for being a good game.
When you are turning 26 and you know this game since your 16yo^^" well done globalization ,well done xD
Remember reading an article hyping this up in like 2009. I'll probably pick it up at some point. The idea of an RPG where you are also an army leader is too cool not to give a try. Can't believe it's taken this long though. It was originally going to be a 360 game
I was HYPED for this game when I was like 15, when they announced it.
This hype has absolutely dwindled to "I don't care"
It also looks way more hack-and-slashy than I remember seeing from trailers and such.. So yeah, it's absolutely too little too late - I might pick it up if it goes down to 10€.
Kingdom Under Fire: Heroes on the original xbox was one of my favorite games shame they fucked the 360 version up they should of keeped it the same
I totally agree i remember playing it!! Fuck that game was the best along with Wrath Unleashed and Magic the gathering: Battlegrounds
@@serza7254 Kingdom under fire crusader is on steam now if you want the memories.

Oof
I loved the first game of this series back in the day. Might wait for a sale to pick it up just for old times sake.
KUF Circle of Doom was my favorite game ever, I would love to see it remade and brought to PC
That one was a lot of fun. It also gave you the impression on how much of a leap it was from previous gen consoles.

Kingdom Under Fire: The Crusaders
, and Kingdom Under Fire: Heroes are two of my favorite games ever. So I'll definitely give this one a try.
Luis Lobato the Heavy Metal soundtrack isn’t there so it’s a no from me. Just bought KUF: The Crusaders from GoG.con for £11 and it’s still great! Especially in HD widescreen
actually disappointed with KUF 2 solely because it felt just like any other MMO game. If you showed this to me without the title i wouldn't have think it was KUF. They should have continued the same game style.
Love your vids peon, Keep it up :D
KuF crusaders & heroes seems better,
ironicaly due to a lack of mmo.
wish KuF would stick to action RTS that its suposed to be and make a good story for it.
Wait wait wait Kingdom Under Fire is Korean?!! I remember playing kingdom under fire heroes on a og xbox online when I was wee little lad back in the mid 2000s. The rhythm of the knights running has no shit set the the pace of my breathing during the presidential fitness test mile run when I was a kid and I was first in my grade in the school. This series was a memorable moment in my early life. I remember how I dominated lvl 99 players through sheer strategy and skill when I was 10 yrs old and half their lvl. Kingdom Under Fire Heroes was an amazing game and when I was hyped for Circle of Doom only to be disappointed for the lack of RTS gameplay( I coincide the release of mountain dew voltage with this game in my memory banks.) Now I see in 2023 as I'm a old geezer there is a MMO of the game to ignite the strategic berserker within me. I'm commenting as I continually watch and omg this game is just like Kingdom Under Fire Heroes, but on a larger scale. Take my money now! For 2011 graphics that is phenomenal for how many units/entities there are on the screen at one time! I am going to go buy this game to relive my strategic childhood
I had the first Kingdom under fire game on the original Xbox when I was a young lad. I put countless hours put into that game. I remember checking their website for kingdom under fire 2 a good few years ago fairly often just hoping to see a release date but eventually, I forgot about it until I saw it pop up on steam today to my surprise and boy I am happy I decided to watch this video before buying it. I would have been very disappointed.
Wooo. Another Peon video! Thanks for the awesome work!
For Comparison (Using Warhammer Fantasy or now Warhammer: The Old World)

Spellsword - Dark Elf Sorceress
Berzerker - Chaos Lord

Really loved the commentary!
thia game is going to be much cheaper very very soon, think black desert's pricing. but probably much quicker in it's price lowering. i wouldn't be surprised if it's already at 10$ within a month.
and then free to play after they are done milking us, bless online style.
"...released in korea..."
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand my interest is gone!
Why are they always so shit sheer number of them out there you'd think they'd have a handful of good ones
@asian dude because western gamers are entitled piece of sh*t as they complain about the asian mmorpg specially korean rpgs are so grindy and p2w games
but Americans has only wow of their pockets..boring as hell, the graphics are outdated and it's pretty overrated
@@mr.frenzy7304 Gw2, Eso, FFxiv.
Not American but Western ;) Korean MMO's (and korean games in general) Are the most garbage, cash grab games ever released. But hey if you enjoy eating shit go ahead.

I wish I had slaves like you man.
It’s definitely a fun game and it is nice having a game that is not as brain dead as most releases, I feel like the mmo portions are a waste of time and they would have been better off just releasing a proper sequel to crusaders
As opposed to playing an ARPG in the first person? "Top down" and "over the shoulder" are technically BOTH third person perspectives.

@@Patm994 ok, let's do a quick search
It was in the beta stage, right? when they first released it back in 2011 as CBT stage in KR
And died twice in OBT stage, MMOASIA for 3y, Innova for 2y.
So are you saying this game has been in dev since 2008 and just fully released now? With that performance, its a really big red flag for me
and that low server population for a brand new game.... looks really bad.
They have 1 year to appeal more players with an update. or else..
thank you, you just make this game looks worse for me
Even tho I'm still curious that this game manages to hold the title as the most expensive Korean MMO
.
@@Patm994 Yes, this game was out in Asia/Pacific countries years ago - I played it quite a bit using a VPN on the old MMOASIA servers years ago. It's fun, but it really is old and there are better action MMOs out there if you don't care for the RTS aspect.
Pity is the rts is actually pretty fun. But it takes time to get there. RTS isn't bad at all really.
"So this seems like one of the games that has the classes gender-locked"
Aight imma head out
There are more female classes than male classes. I suppose it was the idea of some neckbeard creeper to make the game cringy for people who don't get off to their own female characters.
@Leisure Yes, I'm well aware that is the standard defense for it. However, I think we all know that may not be the accurate reasoning. Some people are just weird.
Gender-lock is stupid af
Same, I hate being forced to play as a male character, I want to look at boobs dammit.
Oh and Render saying "neckbeard creeper" as if having a sexuality and preferences is a bad thing just outs you as a terribly insecure person that's desperetly fighting with your own identity while feeling socially pressured to conform to norms.. Not a good look honestly.
@@dailytact1370 Oh you really got me there. Ouch. Triggered.
I agree, I was waiting for this game some years ago, now though it doesn't appeal to me at all.
Anyone who disagrees with this, we live in times of maximum profit. This especially counts for the Korean or Chinese market. It's about the grind and the micro-transactions, not about a lot of quality.
Not only did the game took way too long to come out, it has this weird online-only thing, for KINGDOM UNDER FIRE.
Not gonna lie... I'm was still gonna buy this later this week, regardless of what you thought. As a kid I played Kingdom Under Fire The Crusaders and had wanted to play Kingdom Under Fire 2 since I first learnt it existed. I've even been enjoying the PC port of KUF Crusaders.
People waiting for the "Why I left Archage" video but I am sitting here waiting for the "Why I left Thailand" Video...
he left Thailand?
Same
Still the same Thailand background, so I reckon not
Last week he released a video where he stated that he lives in Thailand, so I assume he still lives there.
Youre lookin good man!
To anyone still interested there's a Steam deal for $10 right now, I am considering picking it up while its cheap.
When "Why I left Archeage" is coming out?
Next video
Imagine a Total War game mixed with Warhammer Space Marine gameplay executed this way..... Let that sink in.
I often am also baffled why they don't a. release sooner and 2. use a monetization model for each region of the world. So many games have no chance here for these two factors alone.
Eastern games developers "We got the largest market no need to localize it for western audience"
Years later "How can we lap up the rest of the soup in the bowl? Oh lets bring it to west now they showed interest eons ago surely they'll give us some dough for this"
Me "I think I heard about this long ago but gawd it looks ugly and dull now moving on"
Not just with this game applied to lot of other eastern games I showed interest too then forgot then someone mentioned it release 5+ years later with my only reply is "Oh that's nice" stopped looking into games released in the East since most of the time just ends up with being waste of time that only release in the West when they want to milk whatever left they could.
The historically accurate giant enemy crab.
To be fair Korea is getting to play this game for the first time as well.
This game is over priced for anything more than about 5 bucks.
This game = Wars and Warriors: Joan of Arc + Vindictus.
Loved both games, this looks dope.
imagine being dead before even release.. at least blessed online manage to scam some foolish souls
This game is not going to update in future since the develop team had already dead.
The RTS element, what you dislike, is what make this game unique and the only reason I'm still paying attention to it. Otherwise, I wouldnt give a flying fck about a graphically outdated MMO released in 2011.
RTS? Boi that's a Musou!!! Also KUF circle of doom was such an under rated game i played the shit out of that back in the day. was also looking forward to this one back in 2010. Might check it out some time seems like it could be fun.
I like the game, the problems the game has seem like they can be worked out. The combat system is awesome and the graphics are nice when you consider how old the game is.
Kingdom Under Fire 1, and Kingdom Under Fire Heros were great!
I remember playing the shit out of Kingdom Under Fire: Crusaders on the original Xbox when I was younger. I loved it so much that I had been considering buying an original Xbox JUST for that game, before learning that Kingdom Under Fire 2 has finally released in the West...
But this? This isn't Kingdom Under Fire. This is garbage. The actual tactics of KuF are nonexistent now. In Crusaders, you could use terrain to your advantage. Hills gave you height/accuracy advantage and forests gave you cover. Being under trees even healed your units if playing as the Dark Elf character Lucretia. There was flanking, positioning, and sappers. You could lay traps in advance of a reckless enemy charge to either soften them up before battle or even wipe them out completely beforehand. You could order your troops into tighter or looser formations while moving, sacrificing speed for defense and vice versa. You could even blind enemy archers by positioning your unit between them and the sun. And that game came out in fucking 2004. From what I've seen/heard/read, none of that is present in KuF2. It trades strategy and challenge for temporary spectacle and shitty boob physics.
Hard pass. Guess I'll be buying that OG Xbox after all.
100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000% agree I loved the xbox original but jesus this looks like it needs it throat slit...

It sucks because I REALLY want a modern game made in this genre, RPG/RTS MMO as it's a super cool concept, but there are pretty much no games of this type. I was super hyped about this game when it was first announced but 10 years of getting blueballed does a lot of kill your enthusiasm heh.
The reason for slow outfit drops is that it has a cosmetics market to support it in the long run, it used to be f2p and hugely monetized and re-release as buy 2 play, I'm a huge KuF fan and cannot wait to get my pc and play this, RTS MMO hack n Slash swith my friends? Yes... Yes please..
Used to love the original kingdom under fire games on the xbox when I was a jitt

I liked the points you made about eastern mmos never coming out.
Bought the game, made a character, my friend bought a game so we could play together, her game wont start and support didnt want to help her. Refunded both 100 euro games, ez, problem solved.
Peon didn't comment that your character is actually getting wet in the rain (9:10)? In any other, newer game, he goes into rain-gasm, and here nothing? Weird...
the game is not bad, the only RTS MMO PC game currently available. problem is, aside from RTS isn't everyone taste nowadays, as an old F2P rerelease as B2P with full package only 50$ at minimum. after a year then they start release game core only for 10$, which is a little too late
Just food for thought. You should check out the first game and actually understand that it is meant to be an rts. The mmo portion is just to let friends play with each other. Also the reason it was low pop is because they didn't advertise there release. Hop on there now and the pop on the servers will be high.
If the introduce PvP battlefields with troops, then that'll breathe a new wind into the sails of this game imo.
Its cute. In the last decade iv played one or two East Release MMOs that finally came to the West and then any time it comes up that whatever MMO im looking at is "Coming to the west" my first thought goes something like
"Yup, coming to the West, 5-10years after its original release unless its original release was so horrific they need immediate fund injections to keep their houses/apartments."
Closely followed by
"I should just skip/not watch this."
which is then followed by
"Well, iv got the time and nothing else grabbing my attention, lets keep watching."
Then after the negative thoughts, a small little voice goes
"Maybe it wont be garbage, arrive within a decent time and get supported properly."
Swiftly kicked in the nuts by
"And be Pay To Win!"
10:15 "unfortunately, the bloke piloting the thing is a shit driver"
10:24 *realizes that HE is the pilot*
For me its just the price..i don’t feel like paying 30 dollar for this

Check out a MMO named " A3 Mania " . It was released around 2006. As of now it got very low player base ( almost no new players ). Most of the new characters you will see in the game are veterans just chilling around. If you like it enough to put it in a video then maybe it will get some new players.
" A3 India " is another server for of A3 game servers but it's pure f2p. They even ban accounts for IRL dealings.
Well let's hope there will be a graphic update in the future.
Hi are you still going to make the vlog channel? :o I thought u were still living in Kampen (15km from where I lived lol) but I saw you moved to thailand
Would say that the RTS part of the game seems like a very important factor in actually buying the game. Not sure if you didn't like the RTS part of it because you simply didn't want to get involved with it, or if it's because it was just done badly. So though I can agree with it as a con, if it's just a clunky mess. I can't so much agree with it, if it's just a personal bias.
Sometimes I feel like living in a movie when not just individuals but whole corporations hold onto bad decisions because of pride, honor, dislikes or other notions to make it exclusive to their region and witholding from sharing and profiting in other countries.
As if there haven't been enough books, movies and other forms telling us that such things as honor and pride do not fill the belly with food, so it wouldn't fill their wallets either.
It’s funny how the older Kingdom under fire games has more active players than this one
jfc that Thomas the train bit was so unexpected. I absolutely lost my shit
0:11 its actually gameforge omegalol
Ahahahaha... that was one feking fun impression vid :D That sarcasm buuuuurns!
the orginal for xbox WAS SWEET NECTAR i really enjoyed that game
This game isn't bad, just the entire story quest line I found annoying. After getting to 30 and unlocking all end game dungeons I'm finding it quite fun leveling up all the troops and trying different combo of troop to be well worth it. Mind you I was a big fan of the original. This game definitely is a grind but once max I find that that's when the fun really begins.
